you really can't even compare SFV's DLC to SF6's cause they were getting 33% more characters per Season at the same price point. every Season had at least 2 characters that appealed to everyone, i don't think anyone who bought the whole Pass every Season instead of using Fight Money felt like they'd been rused into buying a Pass that's 75% filler and one character i want (ie Akuma in SF6).
it also gave them room to throw a Newcomer or two in without them taking up 25% of the whole Season.
