Bison is the best tank without actually being a tank, after that i see most people use abel and beast gief
He is decent. The shield he gives can be good against the bison statue in shadaloo city so your units don't get one shotted. Even though bison isn't a tank technically, he's the ultimate tank because of his OP revive. Most people agree makoto, honda and potentially gief are better than abel.
There really isn't any reason to save gems unless you plan to roll on divination or collab ken. If you want to make any meaningful progress without waiting a long time you'll have to spend gems. Better to beef up your characters now so you can make progress in the story and reinvest the rewards into more progress. And the more you improve your characters the better rewards you can get in shadaloo city, guild raids and pvp modes.
So anyway, how are your rosters/accounts looking now? Can't wait for the daily reset tonight. Just need another mad ryu to +2 him.

arguably guy is more important. I have a SS Cammy off luck and to get the 50 pulls from the 14 day event thing and she feels useless even with maximum inevstment compared to the much better ST character mad ryu
I don’t know much about the different ones out there, but I believe it’s at SS when you can unlock characters Fighting Spirit, and at +5 it unlocks an effect for using that character as an Assist, which is kinda nice at least

Stun doesnt work for that. Unless Decapre's execute works on it, nothing else will stop it. He'll always activate it on low health, you would have to land one single hardest hitting attack before he reaches that HP threshold which would kill him, good luck timing that properly at all.
If you see a Bison, dont even bother hitting him. Wait for the little b***hes hiding behind him to come to the front and kill them off with supers one by one, and then win through a time out or by dog piling on him since it looks like his revive procs less or something when he's by himself. Thats how iv been beating them in BR
No, decapres “execute” is just an extra shitload of damage if they’re below threshold, it doesn’t kill bison. Neither does the S rank buff curse in the buff game modes, which does actually execute but doesn’t kill bison unless everyone else is dead. He’s unkillable until you get everyone else.

Yeah the group build was actually leading me to trying out new characters and trying to piece together the "perfect" combos. And really it was just an excuse to try out all my favorites to find the synergy. Now I know all I have to do is press Mad Ryu or some other tank as a forward and let everyone else support/buff/praise him as he kills shit dead.

I have spent 30 dollars on this game with gift cards I had gotten and I am at 12:40, most of my progress has been done with a bison I got from a single pull and I tried doing fights without bison and realize how much that goon has been carrying me.
I have two 160s and the rest are 140s. I watched some replays where sub 130s beat 11-20 which I'm stuck on. WTF am I doing wrong? Lineup is
1. Abel 160 Support Blanka 160
2. Mad Ryu 140
3. Chun 140 Support Sakura 140
4. Elena 10

I dropped Elena awhile ago and I'm dropping Abel today on the grounds that the game just doesn't play defensively
swapped to MRyu Cammy Chun Guile and railed missions on auto for a solid 30 minutes before it started to get tough again

your super doesn't do that much damage, its the s3 that does the big damage, u can start with elena every second or third super for her buff then do an s3 with ur big damage dealer for the actual damage

I have a Lv.138 Rolento, his super seems really interesting for those annoying fricks that stay behind Honda but everytime im mid-combo the fricker backdashes outta it like nothing.
I just re-challenge when enemies get juggled wrong or aren't close enough so I'm just burning multiple AOE supers on one butthole. So annoying.
that sucks too (specially when metsu/shinku hadoken misses the full dmg) but in this case even if theyre being hit they just backdash out of the combo before i can finish it.

No. Story mode doesn't give a frick about rarity and you'll see everything at SSS including generics

If he dies he dies but I've taken example from fellow anon's and made sure he's always leading the pack. He's now replaced my Ken. My team is 140/130/122/121. Now to let the babies catch up before getting breakstones and pushing Mad Ryu even further since he's supposed to be your Starter.

he basically does some solid single target damage and its pretty vanilla except for his passive
every 25 seconds he puts a debuff on everyone (ur team included) where that team needs to deal enough damage to the enemy to get it removed, the debuff slowly drains health
ken gets a bunch of nasty extra shit he can do during that debuff
if your team successfully removes the debuff, your whole team gets a damage buff, if the enemy doesn't successfully remove it, they get a damage debuff (25%)
at a higher level your team needs to do less damage to remove than the enemy team needs to do (base 1000% of his atk, then 800% ur team 1200% enemy)
his fighting spirit unlocks "sharpness" for him, he has a % on combo to gain sharpness which his normal attacks will now proc an extra hit, once its at +30 his s3 can also proc it for a special follow up
there are some other mechanics but they aren't super relevant to using/fighting him, just deal more damage, take less, etc
Yeah he seems solid, especially with that dmg reduction on super. A heavy hitting juggernaut who isn’t immortal like bison but trades that for some nasty aoe true damage

Im not sure what to think about the future of this game usually for the 1 year anniversary games release a very hype unit but from the roster i only see akuma, gouken and dante at that level, if the other fashion units are going to be like sakura and blanka i dont see what we’ll get for the rest of the months in the year, why did they make random chinese legends when they could have done outfits from alpha and alternate costumes from IV and V, even if they can only use characters from IV if they got mayor cody it means outfits from other games are ok

his issue is hes not quite a dps not quite a tank, so if you need a big dick solo dps he can't cut it, and if u need a beefy boy to take hits he can't cut it, but usually that last slot is for utility
hes a solid 4th man to bring in after a tank dies to up ur dps and a combo shielder, but thats about it
at the very least if you rank him up and he turns out to be useless if you ever get a fashion character you'll be able to use adon to link them

Im running challenge with him bison mad ryu and elena, so i got a bunch of faction coins that gave me the last elena and dudley i needed, fights go way faster and i win more consistently
just a quick update before I quit, spent all the gems ive been saving up, closest I got to finishing the global awakening is 1100 and I've been planning for it the entire time. There is no way you're finishing that as F2P
Im not F2P but with rose’s tarot the wonderland stuff and the 2 first weeks i think it should be possible i got this far without having any SSS+1, but if a F2P gets lucky enough to get one it might be possible those give more points

Yes, you need to wait for the enemy's super bar to fill and interrupt when the first enemy uses it's Super.
You need to Super and then LV1 before the enemy bar reaches lv1, then wait a little and hit Beast Gief's lv2 right before the opponent starts its super, If you do it right the word Interrupt will show up and the enemy won't be able to continue the combo.
I was on the 169 floor before Maga ken and now i'm on 223, i'll go as far as i can while i have him. My Bison is getting destroyed by normal attacks and dying repeatedly, it's kind of annoying because when he dies you can't access his combos, but there's nobody else who could take his place anyways.

@ 03 seconds when i do the first interrupt,see how Dhalsim and Deejay are apparently out of range for Gief's lv2 stun but Dhalsim "teleports" himself into position when his super animation starts. Keep trying, the only more reliable way to beat the game i know of is to open your wallet.

Our MH ken requires 24 copies to max out, while the other ones were not only obtainable f2p but are legendary, so you can link it, requiring only 1 copy.
That's not the only thing, evey reward we get from challenge mode to the ingame shops are gutted as well, frick them.

11-20, what the frick. 40k CP above, using their weakness ( lightning ) and using MHKen. Viper just decimates/juggles my team before I can get a full combo off. Even tried using two tanks, makes zero difference.

Once you get a character to SS, the circle slot thats opposite of the Fighting Soul on the equipment screen opens up. Thats a characters Fighting Spirit, you craft it and upgrade it, changes certain specials or just extra passives for the character.

If you're having trouble doing inverse world, you can just leave the battle without any consequences to your team. So just try to interrupt the enemy team with beast gief as usual and if it goes wrong, leave and try again.

The Launch Event notice in the notices advertised the "Make any purchase and you unlock Chun Li AND her EX move". No one got the EX move, you would only get Chunners for spending. It was false advertising.

nah the ken you received was equivalent to the most powerful unit you had, I had an A+ Rank M. Ryu when I got trial MH Ken so he was A+ too, then I managed to awaken my M. Ryu to S+ and my trial ken went to S+ too, so I have enough yellow equipment to make my ken almost similar to the trial one I had, except of course more ken pieces to get him to S+

News update: In another move of incompetence by Crunchyroll, whales who have refunded over 100 USD or its international equivalents are getting permabanned from the game and those who refunded less than that are having their account tampered with to prevent them from accessing some features of the game until they spend the amount of money. Furthermore the mass refunding in some countries is getting so brutal the game is getting restricted in their regional app stores (Brazil being one of them).

Cammy and Chun have very high speed, get them the fast chant soul and that's it. Even wihtout the fast chant you should win the initiative consistently by having one of them in your team.

It was confirmed by a few people that the regular pulls have "Piety" on the 27th pull. They should be transparent about it, since every veteran considers it a good thing for the game.

Anyone else getting an infinite loading screen in the game right now? I was doing the treasure hunt and it just got hung up on the loading joystick for a few minutes so I closed the game. And now when I try to log in the loading joystick just hangs there indefinitely and I know it's not my wifi connection. Even tried a different server and it's the same thing.

This. I was kinda crying about it but mobile games aren't a competitive sport. There's no reason to race to the top. These are fictional numbers. These servers can go down at any given time. There is no ceiling in a mobile game and if there is it's only until the the next major overall. Tier 1 becomes Tier 2 becomes Tier 3 becomes Tier 4. Characters get "better" because their numbers go higher. Fictional, imaginary numbers that don't mean anything in the real world and whom no one will reward you for having. So why put any real effort or cash into this shit? If you got a minute, take out your phone and go for it.
Gotta escape the mentality of putting vidya and bullshit first. Mobile games prey on that completionist mentality to keep people on the tit.

A good way to cheese is if you manage to get the stun / ice buff and the flame damage over time. Throw in a level 1 char a few times and watch them melt.

I’ve been playing since day one im in 21-30 and the answer for me keeps being make mad ryu stronger, usually i have fashion sakura because she is good at staying alive for bison but every now and then i have to bring beast zangief so he can disrupt the enemy team and let mad Ryu kill stuff right now all i really want is another elena and another mad ryu to make both of them SSS+2

How are you doing that? I'm stuck on 22-26 because Beast Gief massively outspeeds my Chun Li and then groups everyone up, and C Viper asplodes them. I replaced Chun Li with Cody and am running Bison, M. Ryu, and Elena. Are you waiting until you have full combo meter and then doing Cody's then Ryu's super?

well shit the only thing you could do is bring another Beast Gief with Vega's spirit equipped and hope it outspeeds him so you can try Cody's chain combo and get rid of Viper.

Cody gets a free super that doesn't use the bar when he's S+, so I get my charge with Chun/Any fast character and then either go with a full combo starting with Cody then use another super or use the chain super and then M.Ryu's super for massive damage.
