MJ has stood by Peter through the worst kinds of things his hero career had to offer and showed a genuine interest in him even before she found out he was Spider-Man. I'm not gonna pretend it was all sunshine/rainbows and Peter sweeping her off her feet or MJ just being complacent with him risking his life or not having time for her. But the whole point was them making it work and going through hell and back together, like a believable marriage. All that got undone when editorials decided Aunt Mays life was more important than Peter's unborn child and marital happiness and they haven't been together since.
All I remember is her being a constant pain in the ass about Peter also being Spider-Man, same shit over and over. I dunno what Spider-Man comics you read but if you've got any recommendations I'd be more than happy to check them out because all I ever saw in MJ was another annoyance.

Honestly Green Goblin is pretty hard to frick up, it's easy to do him justice. The concern with Spider-Man 2 is literally everything else. The writer of Subnautica 2 is writing this, it's gonna be a shitshow.
You see, Green Goblin will kill Peter Parker instead halfway or three quarters through the game for a protagonist switch to Miles. Blackrock will give Insomniac and Sony a fat stack of cash, Twitter trannies who don't even play videogames will celebrate the nigress writer for doing something so brave and diverse and everyone else will roll their eyes at them doing the most predictable cliche thing possible.
If they don't kill Peter I cant believe you're so fricking dense to not be able to think about MJ being the one he kills.
