The stea edition is not that good and you're better off getting the community version which is also free
payday 2 is 99 cents, its in its twilight years but its still one of the most popular games on steam. If you havent played it by now, I mean frick its basically free
Yh but it's gotta dlc that needs to be purchased doesn't it?
I mean yah thats obviously why its so cheap, but if you play over a hundred hours of it, get hooked, and want to own dlc for the meager ability to launch your own missions- i mean frick at that point youve gotten your dollars worth
I do feel ya tho, id rather get all the dlc. Like doom is like 10 bucks or some shit, but with the dlc its like 30-40 or something. Ill wait a few years, get it in a bundle, play it for 5 hours before getting bored and never touch the dlc.
I think its a trap tho, get the base game for cheap. If you sink tons of time into it, then pay full price or just hope for a luicky sale. Most games I buy I dont even play.
doom is 5 bucks and the only DC is some music crap? what is the DLC ur talking about
ooo are u talking about doom eternal???
Can't recommend Foxhole enough. Amazing game, digital crack cocaine.
23 bucks is still not worth it
might as well start taking HRT IRL than join that hot homosexual mess
this. besides the yuropoors being mad at you for placing a trench in milimetrically the wrong place, you have to contend with the fricking furries and trannies
it's one of the worst games i've played in years. paying any price for foxhole that isn't free is an insane ripoff.
I bought hell let loose since it was on sale
>foxhole
only buy this if you enjoy getting yelled at by french men in their mid thirties
I bought it and am having fun tbh. I'm playing it without voice chat because it is bugged tho.
>fighting games
>worth it
Maybe Soul Calibur, but only because it has actual content.
no other fighting games worth the purchase?
BlazBlue CF is a pretty fun game and now is actually playable online too so that could be worth checking out.
GG Strive, I don't really like the game but it is one of the most active games with good netcode currently so that's something.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax since ArcSys should be implementing rollback for the steam version this summer. Although you probably won't have much to do in the game till then.
There are a ton of pretty alright fighting games on sale right now but most of them have really shitty online/very small playerbases so they are hard to recommend unless you already find them appealing. And a lot of other good fighting games are free so there's no need to purchase them.
>And a lot of other good fighting games are free
such as?
Off the top of my head:
MBAACC
Touhou Hisoutensoku
Literally anything on Fightcade, e.g. KoF 98/02, SF Super Turbo/3rd Strike, MvC2, CvS2, Vampire Savior, Garou and so on.
And there are some other games I like but again, they usually fall in the categories of dogshit online, terrible (usually pisscord-only) matchmaking or both.
Soul Calibur 6 sucks though
do people still play left for dead?
The first one? No not really. The second one? Yes, it's one of the most played on steam still
>ever recommending steam melty
frick this thread
yh but which one though?
Melty Blood Community edition. The steam version doesn't have rollback and no one plays it.
Long before the steam version came out, back when the only legal way to get the newest version of the game was in a dvd box set of the tsukihime anime, fans made a rollback caster and distributed it themselves, and the popularity of that is the main reason the game has any western playerbase at all any more.
The steam release was basically just so that there was actually a real, purchasable version of MBAACC instead of leaving it in limbo before Type Lumina came out, and so that people that have been playing for years already could buy it retroactively if they wanted.

TFH is on sale for a few more days and it's never going to be this cheap again since they rolled the DLC character into the base game and increased the price, but the current sale is going off the old price.
It's got a lot of the best features, great online, and the most ambitious story mode in the genre, but definitely a small playerbase and the aesthetic is a hard sell for some people. Great game though.
hard combos but also hard scaling
Ground Branch is 40% off 17.99 pretty good realistic tactical shooter
To maximize savings get a white argentinian girlfriend and have her buy you the games
what if my skin isnt white though?
Put a pistol in your mouth and pull the trigger.
>Foxhole
>worth buying
>at $25
it wasn't worth buying at $20, OP is a homosexual, have a nice day
t.warden
i bought it when it was at like 50-75% off a few years ago and refunded it. i fricking hate the french and their shitspeak, and its all i heard 85% of the time i played it followed by them insulting me in their shitspeak any time i asked them to speak the english i know they knew how to use
What's FOXHOLE?
Ace Combat time?
