Yea, it only unlocks later on into MR, I think after the 6 star boss if I recall. Let's you random meld rarity 8 to 10 charms, with a new recycle option for rarity 8 or above
any advice so I stop getting my shit pushed in by Shogun? this monster feels really overwhelming
Yea I've had a few similar in just a handful of melds, looks like it's much easier to get than it was in base rise, although you can only random meld, no target farming specific skills that I know of

Wasn't that feature only for the lower tiers anyway and just for sniping something that'll make do while you wait to get an actual good talisman? It feels like they're doing it so that your good talismans for base Rise will still be good in Sunbreak. Though they could add more tiers in TUs to change things. Who knows.
They're almost all about PC issues. Iceborne was also mixed at launch.
More than half of these morons forgot to uninstall their mods. Happened to both of my friends as well
All of those posts >Game crashes once launched
are caused because they didn't take out REframework
I wouldn't be surprised it Capcom cracks down on mod usage after this. Which sucks because I love using them.
I was glad to finally get a decent one, was cucked all through base rise without a decent qs one, on a related note QS feels so nice with greatsword with power sheathe
Picked up a 2 rapid up 2 evade extender which I've been loving for my bow set todah, only has 1 slots on it though sadly
I like 2 with dodgebolt l, but you can get away with 1 - way too much like you say with charging sidestep. 2 for me is the sweetspot on most weapons, gives you enough range to roll out of attacks and makes wire bug dashing feel great
The new smithy in sunbreak, well remembered anon, it pays reference to your image when you first talk to her, something about her clothes fashioned after a smithy from a distant land
Just played through base rise and am MR2
Holy hell was base rise shit. I'm convinced now all the super pro rise people were shit posters or delusional
Sunbreak is p.good. crazy how much those slight moveset adjustments help make it feel so much better. Still think the stages need more real verticality. Like yeah I can climb everything and there's some lore but that's it. Have a rath fight me on the top of a mountain
Whats with the fricked up progression of this game?
Why do they put high tier monsters on low level quests?
Why the frick does every monster now behave like Tigrex?
That's pretty great. Probably the best you could reasonably get in base Rise. General rule of thumb is 4 points worth of lvl 2 slots for damage boosting skills like AB, CE and RM then 5 points for QOL skills like Quick Sheathe and evade extender.
Looks hopeful then, thanks. Wasn't sure if it was good since there might've been a super good piece with RM3 built in or something and I'm too lazy to build proper mixed sets until ASS updates
There's only like 4 skills that I would say to actively avoid aiming to get on your talisman. Those being CB, WEX, focus and handicraft. Everything else is fair game. Having it on your talisman lets you not use some better pieces. There aren't any super valuable armour pieces that are good enough to be worth using over a good talisman.
That's pretty great. Probably the best you could reasonably get in base Rise. General rule of thumb is 4 points worth of lvl 2 slots for damage boosting skills like AB, CE and RM then 5 points for QOL skills like Quick Sheathe and evade extender.
I got a Quick Sheath 3 + Evade Extender 1 with two lv2 slots and one lv1 slot. Pretty sure it can’t be topped unless the rarity 8 and above talismans can have three or more skills.
Anyone know if we have any info on elemental damage? I'm guessing bow and dual blades still want to switch between element depending on the monster, but do we know if its worth caring about element on some of the other weapons?
Interesting, I seen a webm of element discharge hitting some big damage, might need to craft a few CBs and see how it plays, haven't touched it yet in sunbreak
I've just started delving into the hub quests and it makes me really miss World's SOS system.
Seeing what's available, instead of hoping someone is doing the quest you pick, and knowing how much time has passed were wonderful. I've had too many runs where I join in and the monster is already basically dead.
MR literally shits out kamura resource points at you theres literally NO excuse to not use a dango voucher for every hunt considering its like 6k points for 99 meat -> 49 tickets. you can also literally run back and forth in the jungle between base camp and the wyvern nest for 2.5k points in like 25-30 seconds each time
I wish they would get rid of currency requirements in some areas. Frick spheres and frick zenny costs for weapons/armor.
Make armor upgrade from successful MR quest completions or something else
Thank god I cheated all my zenny and research points in.
Still working my way through base game. Does this mean if I get to HR50 in the gathering hall then move on to Sunbreak I'll just be back at 7 for Master?
Rise is my first MonHun game and I was expecting something harder after all the shit talking the fanbase did with Soulsgays. I'm up to HR5 and have yet to fail a quest.
>the fanbase did with Soulsgays
keyword is did, because rise is the second easiest monhun to date
The games before gen5 (excluding p3rd) are much more difficult, mostly because the player is much, much slower.
>Tigrex or Narcacuga is everyone's best weapon still
Not even close. Because we have much more skills available weapons' natural affinity loses its value and that really hurts the Narga weapons.
>Absurdly fricking easy >Expansion also mega easy >Gore Magala completely wasted as a side-fight when he could have been the final boss and made sense in-lore >The actual final boss is lame as frick >Narcacuga/Tigrex weapons are STILL the best >90% of the new silkbind moves are garbage >game still wants you wander around collecting birds (which you can skip but it still feels lame)
I like the new maps but Sunbreak still feeling like a miss to me.
monster appears in the same area exactly like in every other MH game, you can dung bomb it exactly the same as in any other MH game, or you can mount it exactly the same as any other MH game since 4
so what's the issue compared to world? you'd rather take longer to get to the monster as it runs between areas while having less meaningful hunting helpers etc to collect as you move? literal non criticisms here yikes
>Why cant a monhun game just let you fricking fight
Sunbreak is specifically designed in such a way that you spend as little time as possible fricking around unless you want to. Even mounting is optional now.
I just collect birds on my way to the monster unless it's a really hard one in which case i like the option of being able to buff myself up a little bit more.
Its FAR less annoying than something that keeps breaking my pace within the hunt multiple times and it's less of a hassle than just walking trough 2 areas in the Volcano in GU
Wirebugs and Spiribirds are complete shit compared to the Slinger and Clutch Claw. Clutch Claw doesn't have a cooldown and being forced to run around grabbing powerups sucks wiener. I want to pop an ancient pill and be ready from the start.
>Clutch Claw doesn't have a cooldown
I said tenderize has a cooldown, which is objectively true unless you modded the game. You didn't read cause you're a shitposter or truly that moronic. >being forced to run around grabbing powerups
Game doesn't force you to do shit you're just a shitter, I beat all apex challenge quests without wasting my time getting bingbirds.

I don't care what you call it, it you like spending literally half your fights tenderizing parts over and over again, go back to Iceborne. Also go pirate an early unpatched game so you have to do more tenderize attacks, cause you apparently like eating shit.

frick off
>Clutch Claw doesn't have a cooldown and being forced to run around grabbing powerups sucks wiener
Slinger does need to collect rocks and stuff to fire, on the other hand you don't need to collect any Spiribirds or Wirebugs at all.
>I want to pop an ancient pill and be ready from the start
You already start with max HP and Stamina after eating, which is literally the exact same benefit you would get out of drinking an Ancient Potion.
(you) >Nargacuga/Tigrex weapons are STILL the best
blatantly false >90% of the new silkbind moves are garbage
blatantly false >Gore Magala (existing non elder dragon) should be the last boss fight
lmaolol >Expansion absurdly easy
t. hasn't fought afflicted variants of high tier monsters >birds
these are a non issue - get them as you head to the monster, ignore them if you want
>t. hasn't fought afflicted variants of high tier monsters
Is the final boss a variant? Because I'm still using high rank gear like this guy
WHY THE FRICK IS THIS GAME SO EASY
WHY AM I PLAYING "MASTER RANK" AND JUST AUTOPILOTING THE GAME
WHY DID I JUST BEAT THE FINAL BOSS WITH HIGH RANK ARMOR ON
And I just saw the credits roll. Fighting infected mobs now and still using valstrax.
I don't know why people are trying to insist this about rise, it's -way- easier than world. I'm not even good at these games but iceborne made me eat shit for wearing drachen
>I don't know why people are trying to insist this about rise, it's -way- easier than world. I'm not even good at these games but iceborne made me eat shit for wearing drachen
anon i'm shit at MonHun and i had a harder time against HR Zinogre in Rise than anything in base World/IB, i dont know if it's the monster selection or antything but rise felt harder than world
by getting one-shot? Pretty simple, rise master rank mobs just don't hit hard outside of a few exception, Im sure the infected ones will hit a little harder but that's post final boss endgame, iceborne started one-shotting you in drachen quite fast, long long before it's final boss
No, it isn't, go wear fully upgraded drachen and try some iceborne mobs, you don't even need to do the endgame ones, ones as early as barioth or glavenus will one-shot you with simple attacks
yet multiple people are casually strolling through all of sunbreak wearing valstrax, final boss and all
2 years ago
Anonymous
considering that Valstrax fully upgraded is 100 def per piece, and the upgraded MR armor while still doing story caps at around 124 it's not that big of a surprise, there just isn't a huge def gap between valstrax and early MR armor. a decent MR set shits all over valstrax HR though, no reason to keep using it out of spite or something

>No, it isn't, go wear fully upgraded drachen and try some iceborne mobs, you don't even need to do the endgame ones, ones as early as barioth or glavenus will one-shot you with simple attacks
I must be a fricking god gamer then because I remember wearing Drachen way late into IB.

Barioth alone pretty much one shots you unless you get actual mr armor.
You just suck holy shit, barioth was easy as frick.

The hardest thing about that piece of shit is actually hitting the jumping moron. Still, him being easy doesn't change the fact he hits you for 60-80% of your HP even in low MR gear.
>Only one rarity difference >Comparing fully upgraded armor to non-upgraded armor >non-upgrade armor has only 2 less defence
You're not very smart, are you?
I used that pic as proof because I kept telling people that I beat the game with HR gear and everyone kept telling me I was lying, so yeah. The pic wasn't meant to imply that MR gear was bad
How the frick is that picture proof of anything? Are you actually moronic?

If you look behind the menu I have the multiplater icon for beating the game, idk couldnt really think of a better way to show "proof" of such a silly claim
wait isn't that comparing sets you have? or am I moronic
was trying to show how i only made a few master rank peices of gear then never upgraded them since I decided not to use them
it's not appeared yet at MR 48, i'd imagine it's closer to 100, you're better off just crafting like Rath X, it's straight up better and easy as frick to craft/upgrade. you'll get cucked hard against some of the afflicted mons after around MR 20 without a MR armor set

I didn't realize the end game was going to be this extensive. Every single monster has an "afflicted" variant?
Sunbreak files pretty much confirmed the TU monsters for the first update and maybe the second one. >Seething Bazelgeuse >Lucent Nargacuga >Silver Rathalos >Gold Rathian >Espinas Subspecies >Mizutsune Rare Species
We already knew this because of the longsword descriptions that were leaked a while ago but it's confirmed the one that was new (the one with the butterflies in the description) is a Mizutsune rare species.
While everyone already guessed that Metal Raths were going to be TU bloat, it still feels lame to see it confirmed.
I fricking hate drip feed model so much.
>Mizutsune skips getting a sub and just gets a rare species
I'd call bullshit but after dumb shit like Frostfang Barioth and Crimson Glow Valstrax this sounds perfectly feasible
MR4. Barroth for lance (might replace with Diablos), Anja for hammer, Mud for saxe.
I made full Rath for a Seregios longsword, but I don't like it much as deco space is tight and I can't fit sharpness skills. Might switch for Astalos boots.
kushala helm with the rest rath is an easy solid set without having to think too hard, suits most blademaster weapons, not speedrun tier optimised but will get the job done until you buildcraft each set individually
Its so moronic how they can't even balance the armors good enough to play with while progressing through the game. I want to take my time and build around, but its very hard to make anything decent.
>played for 13 hours straight today >with a friend, even
This shit does not happen often but am I glad that Monster Hunter still ignites the spark of vidya autism
>hammer is still dogshit one dimensional impact crater spam where if you miss a single one you're a waste of space >hunting horn got thrown in the cuckshed since rampage weapons are gone, stuck with narcacuga again
The very first switch skill you get is a free action to slap your shield forward while blocking.
this does a decent amount of blunt damage, and since you block during it you basically get a free hit in their face every time they try to attack you, and blocking like this also uses way less stamina.
I get way more consistent KO's in with lance than I do with hammer. And hammer is one of my mains.
I came when I used the lance in one of those arena missions after not touching it in Rise at all until SB. Shield charge, backwards escape and insta block are really fun.
No, what happened was the stun duration starts getting reduced after the third stun or so because stickies can shit them out at a ridiculous rate. Though they nerfed sticky damage, rate of fire and stun build up so it was a little overkill.
I don't know the exact details, but with things like Blunt Kinsects and Lance shield spam that doesn't really matter much. Without even trying to do it I get a minimum of 2 KO's a hunt with IG, while still being able to cut tails in the same hunt. The options we have for KO are really good in Sunbreak.
Hammer's "role" isn't really relevant anymore as a result, only reason to play it is if you enjoy the moveset (which is the best reason to play it anyway). HH at least still has buffs.
>Final boss has some cool looking FX and the design is cool, but the fight is the most generic thing imaginable outside some moments where you stop playing MH and play House of the Dead for a short period
>entire story of rise and iceborne is mobs becoming all corrupted and infected >Gore magala is in the game >HE ISNT THE FINAL BOSS
WHAT THE FRICK IS THIS SHIT, THE WRITING WAS RIGHT THERE, ON THE WALL, YOU COULD HAVE JUST MADE "SHIN GORE MAGALA" OR SOME SHIT INSTEAD OF SOME OC FINAL BOSS NO ONE CARED ABOUT
IG with the counter switch skill bullies him quite well, but only for part of the figjt. Whenever he goes underground you can counter into his attack and then dash forward to be right in his face, and he can't do shit because his attacks in this state are all via his tail and once you're on top of him none can hit you.
Still miserable whenever he's above ground, though.
I just lost my job and I can't afford Sunbreak, feels bad because I got this game like 2 months ago and by the time I'll get it, the hype is going to be dead. I wanna ride the hype with my bros, this isn't FAIR.
I worked for an e-shop company as a translator, ya know, translating documents like assembly guides for the products they sold, pamphlets and all of that. But apparently due to a resurgence of Coof, the e-shop is selling less and less, so they couldn't afford to pay us anymore. They fired the whole translation/customer service department, me included 🙁
Just about to fight Lunagaron and already have a 7 Attack Boost/3 WEX/3 Crit Boost/2 Crit Eye (for 50% base affinity with Narga glaive) set up. Guess I'm spending the entire rest of the game trying to squeeze more handicraft in (currently have 2) because what the frick else do I need?
Imagine playing a weapon that requires thought when it comes to builds.
I think every weapon in Sunbreak is a lot of fun except Insect Glaive, I genuinely can't tell how you're supposed to make this shitty weapon do any damage
Your mobility lets you freely attack during animations it would be unsafe to do so with any other weapon. You can do very good damage anyway (hitting 1K in a diving wyvern in the midgame is not difficult) but it's the fact that you can be on their ass constantly that gets the damage in.
Anyone else on PC have their game freeze for a few seconds and then continue on like nothing happened?
Happens every so often and its fricking annoying.
Okay really, how the frick are you supposed to play GS in Rise. When or where am I supposed to even be able to charge my hits when every monster either moves erratically or does a knock down move the moment I hold triangle. Is it really just fricking zipping around like a moron with Adamant Charge Slash and hope you get a hit in or what. This weapon is completely unenjoyable. Rise monsters feel way faster than World monsters and it doesn't feel like GS can keep up. Playing Hammer/SnS/Swaxe/LS/GL or even Lance feel like the game is playable because I can actually react to shit the monster is doing. It's even worse online when monsters have 8 potential targets to choose from.
>When or where am I supposed to even be able to charge my hits when every monster either moves erratically or does a knock down move the moment I hold triangle.
Have you tried charging your GS in the times where the monsters stand there growling at you for 5+ seconds, or during the time they're attacking?
>use bullet barrage >monster move >miss my bullet barrage >use bullet barrage >monster move >miss my bullet barrage >use bullet barrage >monster doesn't move >miss my bullet barrage
i'm having fun, i don't care what other player think
>The fact that this garbage has only 17 monsters makes me mad.
Why? If we exclude time locked event quests that also dripfed content like the Title Updates that are coming, doesn't that make it the second biggest G/Master Rank expansion roster? Not that I ever really kept track, I suppose.
am i getting senile and it's always been like this, or is rise a really bad offender for monsters just having their whole bodies turn into hitboxes for attacks where it doesn't feel like they should? 10/10 otherwise this shit is even better than IB and i'm so fricking glad hyper monsters are back
Hit boxes have always been garbage. Shit like Teostra existed and even in World/IB we had bullshit like Anjanath, these even still exist in new monsters with a few exceptions like Lunagaron and Gaismagorm (somehow).
>anjanath
i fricking hate that c**t like you wouldn't believe
that move where he just moron smashes his face into the ground over and over and the space three meters to the left of his legs suddenly becomes a hitbox is one of the worst in the game
Why is strongarm stance so shit? I thought it would give true charged slash or rageslash on counter, but it just gives shitty level one charge? How the frick do you play with it?
You counter during your first charge and skip to TCS after the counter with a 35% buff to your damage. Shit is broken and lets you easily hit for 3-5k damage without even trying.
I despise every single person who has custom messages, you are not funny or quirky with them. The moment I see your unfunny message for mounting, I am going to triple cart your hunt.
Unfortunately for you, you can't escape that way because I have maximum Free Meal, Wide Range and multiple Lifepowders. You have to read my cringey Dragon's Dogma quotes.
Unfortunately for you, you can't escape that way because I have maximum Free Meal, Wide Range and multiple Lifepowders. You have to read my cringey Dragon's Dogma quotes.
You are forgiven, for I love Dragon's Dogma, and I love being reminded that wolves do, indeed, hunt in packs.
She can use a fricking gunlance anon, this makes her the best by default
She also instantly sleep bombs monsters, uses correct ammo types and literally never stops attacking
>never stops attacking
Wrong, she drops a trap and will stand behind it doing taunting emotes at the monster for like 10 seconds or until the monster falls into it.
Hmm, might not have been her dropping the trap, but I do know that during one hunt she went missing and when I looked around she was standing behind the trap just doing emotes. Was very weird.
I know Rondine just fricking teleports away to ride monsters which is also very jarring.
GL counter >serves literally no purpose other than sharpening your weapon a little >only leads into your regular attacks >costs 1 bug >has medium Wirebug recovery speed to boot so it won't outpace your Sharpness losss
We'll never know.
>the new hammer skill is pretty mediocre >except when it comes to IC where it does 50% more damage
They designed this shit purely to force people to use the switch skill nonsense
i hate impact crater so much for what it did to the hammer playstyle
at least the new buff works well with courage stance
>Hammer is nothing but spinspam
UOOOOO KINOO >Hammer is nothing but upper cuts and triple pounds
UOOOOO KINOO >Hammer is nothing but le funny slide spinny and big bang
UOOOO KINOOO >Hammer has the most complex it has ever been, optimizing damage is really tight but also has a hard to land punisher that deals big damage
Wtf hammer is just impact crooter I hate it I want to go back to spammimg big bangs or golf swings!!!!
Also on lance, I've been using mixed g-rank narwa-bushi myself. With the narwa-ibushi-narwa-narwa-ibushi set, you get Guard 5, Guard up 3, Offensive Guard 3, Slugger 3, Partbreaker 3, Flinch Free 3 and Great Luck + 5 level 2 deco slots (which I've been using for Evade Extender 2 and WEX 3). I have never been comfier.
I don't have a good feel for stats yet. How much defense would you sacrifice for preferred skills? I like the rapid morph and evade extender on MR volvidon but they have a defense of 96 where late game greaves have defense around 120
don't sacrifice any preferred skills for defence. even if you feel like you need more def, you can slot a +5 def (8% more def) decoration into a single 4 slot.
>2 staged morph combo >gives you like 80% of amp gauge on elemental/status phials >recharges your sword and bring it online no matter what >elemental burst counter >virtually zero wirebug cooldown >insane damage >instantly amps you
Slide is still useful because it recharges more but the first stage of morph combo is insanely good for how fast it comes out and its passive effects
You can literally go back to sword with 0 gauge
>Chevalier followers don't unlock once you beat Gaismagorm, the thing they were literally investigating
I am very mad. All of these followers are lame options.
How much easier or harder is countering on PC? Seems like I've been missing a couple of my counters because of the sudden framedrops/jitter on the switch sometimes.
Tetra urgent >Using GL even though I'm not great with it >It's a large gold crown >Fricker literally will not stop spamming it's charging attack even when I'm right next to it >Twice it manages to get cart me by stopping its first charge right on top of me so I can't see properly and then starting the next one while my shield's facing the wrong way
Kulu yaku when I was trying to figure out how sacred sheathe worked. It was funny because I was stunned and he slowly walked up and hit me on the head with a rock
>MR Goss Harag >start fighting >he just manhandles the frick out of me and I die in less than a minute >go back and fight with little trouble
guess I was just not on the ball, but it sure made me scared of this guy for my first MR fight with him
>sub/variant Goss comes out >he has a 20 second long ADHD combo of massive swipes you can't block or wirebug through all of >that constantly misses every hit of it even if you standing right next to him
>beat Rise on Switch >want to get Sunbreak on PC but will have to restart the entire game
Frick this new shit of releasing unfinished games. Frick modern, frick you
Do people play this dog shit? It's the same thing over and over again, I seriously do not get the interest in monster hunter. It's basically a mobile game that you pay 60 dollars plus tax
>sit there dabbing on astalos parrying everything with ready stance and blasting his face with my giant pizza cutter into a KO then looping burst 2 ad nauseum
having a fast defensive option from axe is so fricking good. if they bring back the valor loop in the 6th gen games ill never get off of CB ever again
>haha lol Im such a gamer I made it to MR3 with maxed HR gear >finally upgrade to MR gear because Im getting two shot >the MR gear has only like 100+ armor >still getting two shot
PANIK.PNG
I haven't seen a better Lance before the final boss yet
Shaggy maybe since it's got a better rampage slot and affinity but way less raw, might be better with the right setup
He's probably my favourite final boss of the series >straight fight instead of gimmick or Siege >fricking gigantic, but not a slow boring fight >animations are spectacular, over the top and yet completely fair >clearly designed around Wirebug, but you can still beat him without using them >brings back that "OH FRICK WHAT'S IT DOING NOW?" feeling to Elder Dragons >has really good looking equipment with a fun gimmick as a reward >You even actually get to see the Villagers participate in the fight instead of them always just pretending it was a collaborative effort >looks cute as frick
I love this dumb thing.
What I hate about modern Monster Hunter is that they streamlined out any unpredictability in the games, when you go on a hunt you know exactly what is going to happen in that hunt and nothing will ever go wrong or change from that.
Two monsters in the same zone? Nah can't have that it would be too hard for the casuals they are hardcoded to immediately frick off if that happens. (Rip my boy Quropeco).
Having to actually find the monster? Nope they are always permanently viewable on the map and other monsters always leave and enter at the exact same schedule.
Monster is running away? No worries they almost always only run away one zone so you only have to sit on your dog for like 10 seconds to fight it again.
It makes the games way more repetitive. You'd think with the broken mobility and power creep they gave hunters that they wouldn't need to make the actual hunting experience into the most streamlined predictable shit ever but that's still the case.
>Two monsters in the same zone? Nah can't have that it would be too hard for the casuals they are hardcoded to immediately frick off if that happens. (Rip my boy Quropeco).
I enjoy watching monster turf wars but they get old after you've seen them hundreds of times.
Quropeco summoning Picklejho was peak soul
>Having to actually find the monster? Nope they are always permanently viewable on the map and other monsters always leave and enter at the exact same schedule.
I did miss the enjoyment of tracking them down, it actually made me notice and appreciate the environments more as well
>Monster is running away? No worries they almost always only run away one zone so you only have to sit on your dog for like 10 seconds to fight it again.
Yea that's annoying but there was nothing more frustrating than losing track of a monster well into a fight when the paintball wore off
They can now carry any items you go over the limit of on them and they can also highlight whatever endemic life, spiribird or gather points you want on the minimap.
>Did they improve palamutes at all in SB?
In what way you hoping they improved? They're still the best damage/status and got at least one new gimmick with a dog mounted crossbow that ties monsters to the spot for a second (this also stops flying monsters from going into the sky).
You can even play Fetch with them now.
Plus this,
They can now carry any items you go over the limit of on them and they can also highlight whatever endemic life, spiribird or gather points you want on the minimap.
I haven't used Oil yet, but it was shit in the demo (which is a good thing). But the rest of the move set is more or less the same but better. Perfect Rush got buffed making it the stand out on downs but it's not IB levels of busted. Lateral Slash got buffed and you've got Twin Blade Combo as well, so elemental is much better and is more noticeably competitive with Hard Basher (it was in base Rise, but it was very slim). Same overall feel as Rise, but more options and a little more tactical in usage.
I'm torn on this. Played and completed base Rise on Switch, and left with a pretty meh impression of the game. Felt way too easy and like there was an over reliance on weapon skills/arts(?) , multiplayer also seemed like a mess at times. I did enjoy fighting some stuff like Khezu again, but I never thought twice about the game. Does SB add enough to improve on the base game? Are there real challenges now? Used to be a hammer main, but am planning on switching to lance/GL if I come back for this
>MR3 >Fight Goss >He's fricking huge, my Sns can't properly reach his claws when he stands upright >Proceeds to rub my face in the dirt, nearly triple cart, takes me half an hour to down >He was only fricking silver crown >Fight Barioth next >He's also fricking huge >Held out better than Goss, althogh the rinky dinky range of the Sns made it a pain >Fought a Gold Crowned Pukei Pukei in MR2
WHY is everything so BIG
Already finished Sunbreak.
It was even shorter than what the Iceborn.shitposters implied it was going to be.
What now?
Was Grinding Lands and Weapon gacha really as bad as Ganker says?
At least we had something to do back then.
anyone else playing CSS CB? not sure if I wanna slot in rapid morph for the faster spin up time since it competes already for guard 4 for the counter, and it seems like its not as big a deal since the spinup seems much faster than base rise without it but looking for second opinions here.
i think literally every weapon won in some degree or another, at least for blademaster. I think the only large complaint ive seen is for hammer and IC spam but ive also heard the courage mode is cool but i don't play hammer at all so cant confirm. if you want a pure number based answer come back in like a month.
I didn't think they could make gunlance more fun but they did it, erupting canon is fricking bonkers and lets you easily combo into multiple fullbursts
rising > slam > fullburst > slap > erupting canon > poke > quick reload > slam > fullburst
I'm pretty sure this isn't possible with wyrmstake but wyrmstake might be so slow that I never tried comboing stuff after it.
Definitely the least enjoyable of the new subs. Magmadron is actually pretty fun, Blood Orange is a perfect example of a subspecies being different than the normal species, Pyre Rakna... exists. Auroracanth's attacks and worse hitzones are not fun. Haven't fought Scorned yet.
Has anyone done any research into how MH AI actually works? Sometimes I'd swear certain things will trigger their attention like item use and sharpening, yet when I try to sharpen and eat near a trap and they've never fallen for it.
similar to older games with stronger version of the monster you already hunt but with specific drops to better your gear.
Sadly no guiding lands or infinite hunt style of map
Fricking homosexuals holy shit. How hard is it to add a randomish hunt where monsters are on different maps or with different combos? Seriously you can only fight the same monster on the same map so many times. Dropped rise immediately after clearing every quest at least once.
I don't know either man
big disappointment, I don't even want a new map the new castle map seems really cool you could put a bunch of random monsters there and let me hunt for hours but I guess that's asking too much
2 years ago
Anonymous
Completely agree. I love the arena in these games because they're actually a unique challenge using gear id never normally use. Let me just fight the damn monsters I want to fight in a cool arena.
What's the deal with powder vortex? I've seen other people use it and it looks like they just twirl the kinsect and it pulls all the powder in? What's the actual input? Kinsect throw on its own with 3 extracts seems to do ~600 but just spamming the strong combo with an assist seems most reliable overall still
The armor you can make after teaming up with the gunlance guy is friggin sweet, it has good luck 3 capture master and you get one of those Byleth style longcoats that clips into weapons
just beat Astalos and got the new switch skills, wearing the full Basarios set with the Magnamalo GL
am I good until endgame? which armor sets are best for GL? I'm going to assume MR Bazel is our best rn, until Seething of course
The same way as the first tail slam. You dodge left, or rather backwards from the first tail slam/towards the left if you've turned to face the place Nargacuga jumps to.
Probably not quite as chunky, but there are certainly some sets that look far cooler on male characters than they do on female characters.
Closest you'll get is probably the Basarios gear.
Basarios is the chonkiest in the game right now unless they add his grownup version in a patch
But there's something fricking wrong with them if they do that because Gravios is terrible
Pyre Rakna was surprisingly fun to fight. New back moves keeps it interesting like the butt charge or the double butt slam. And she makes good use of small monsters (something I wish more fights took advantage of). Batting all the little spiders away with a charged lance sweep felt great.
I don't really get why it's a separate subspecies when they could've just given those moves to MR Rakna
What even inflicts Blast in that fight, when the little spiders shake themselves off?
They do let you and you can change everything without spending it so long as you do not confirm, but also bad taste the female armour is cool as frick this time.
I'm kinda glad Lance doesn't need it much cause I don't see how I'd make room for it
Having a level of it was nice just to keep the 3rd bug around longer but I shuffled my set around and don't have the Lunagaron gloves on anymore, for now.
Just bought Rise and in under 8 hours I'm already HR 5.
Am I rushing things too fast?
The champion weapons are too strong, maybe I shouldn't have used them.
I want to try the new skills already.
Is there a new melding option?
Yea, it only unlocks later on into MR, I think after the 6 star boss if I recall. Let's you random meld rarity 8 to 10 charms, with a new recycle option for rarity 8 or above
Is it just having lvl 4 slots or does it actually have better rates for getting higher skill levels or things like that?
I'm not sure about rates etc yet sorry anon
Yea it's annoying not having access to new melding until the end of the sunbreak campaign
I just got this, idk if 3 crit eye was possible with rarity 7
Yeah it was possible. I have one myself
Who knows.
It was but hopefully it's a case of a Talisman that would be considered the best in base Rise is now common in Sunbreak.
>granny panties
no thanks
Surprised they put striped panties in the game.
There are better options.
To me, the big shortcoming of the Follower system that breaks my immersion is that they don’t join me in carving up the monsters like real players.
The new medic palico secret skill (the bat) is fricking busted.
OK
They're almost all about PC issues. Iceborne was also mixed at launch.
More than half of these morons forgot to uninstall their mods. Happened to both of my friends as well
All of those posts
>Game crashes once launched
are caused because they didn't take out REframework
I wouldn't be surprised it Capcom cracks down on mod usage after this. Which sucks because I love using them.
with this review score you can simply see the amount of cheaters in the game kek
glad im playing on switch
QS talismans seem to be the easiest to get.
I was glad to finally get a decent one, was cucked all through base rise without a decent qs one, on a related note QS feels so nice with greatsword with power sheathe
Picked up a 2 rapid up 2 evade extender which I've been loving for my bow set todah, only has 1 slots on it though sadly
2 EE feels like too much for Bow
Puts you too far out for Close Range coating most of the time it feels like
I like 2 with dodgebolt l, but you can get away with 1 - way too much like you say with charging sidestep. 2 for me is the sweetspot on most weapons, gives you enough range to roll out of attacks and makes wire bug dashing feel great
Holy mother of shit Shagaru is hard as frick. I've been clearing MR fairly easily so far but I've triple carted to this buff bastard 3 times now.
Who is this qt? Color scheme reminds me of image related.
The new smithy in sunbreak, well remembered anon, it pays reference to your image when you first talk to her, something about her clothes fashioned after a smithy from a distant land
Interesting. I never played MH4 but I did jerk off to a doujin featuring her once upon a time.
Have a rath fight me on the top of a mountain
kill all them rathalos reskins yet bros?
No I'm waiting for mh6
Not sure what capcom's obsession with flying wyvern is but we have enough flying shitmon in this series. Please no more...
2-2-1
Recovery Up 2
Paralysis Resistance 2
I got this in HR, I haven't unlocked the new Melding Option, because all the cool stuff is in late MR.
Whats with the fricked up progression of this game?
Why do they put high tier monsters on low level quests?
Why the frick does every monster now behave like Tigrex?
any advice so I stop getting my shit pushed in by Shogun? this monster feels really overwhelming
Rapid Morph 3
WEX 1
1-0-0
Hopefully this'll end up good with my future SwAxe set and not redundant
Sounds pretty based for swatch anon
General rule of thumb is 4 points worth of lvl 2 slots for damage boosting skills like AB, CE and RM then 5 points for QOL skills like Quick Sheathe and evade extender.
>tfw got rapid morph 3 2-2-0 in base rise
yeah i dont think im ever gonna get a talisman better than that for swaxe
I got a Quick Sheath 3 + Evade Extender 1 with two lv2 slots and one lv1 slot. Pretty sure it can’t be topped unless the rarity 8 and above talismans can have three or more skills.
Anyone know if we have any info on elemental damage? I'm guessing bow and dual blades still want to switch between element depending on the monster, but do we know if its worth caring about element on some of the other weapons?
Element CB will probably carve itself a niche and it's worth taking on guns now that sticky/slicing got nerfed.
FRICK ALMUDRON FRICK ALMUDRON FRICK ALMUDRON FRICK ALMUDRON FRICK ALMUDRON FRICK ALMUDRON
u mad
agree
i hate his shit globs he coveres the place in
I'm still mad this fricker got a Subspecies over Goss Harag.
lagiacrus is too hard to program into the game have another almudron instead
LMAO
git gud
Fought him once with Surge GS. Never again.
He gets the GL from now on.
>can climb the giant crane overlooking the crater in elgado
kino
>1280x720
Give me a break anon, my pc is broken and I won't get a new one until the end of the month. Switch is comfy though, I can't say I'm coping too hard
let me guess, you need "more"
MR literally shits out kamura resource points at you theres literally NO excuse to not use a dango voucher for every hunt considering its like 6k points for 99 meat -> 49 tickets. you can also literally run back and forth in the jungle between base camp and the wyvern nest for 2.5k points in like 25-30 seconds each time
I wish they would get rid of currency requirements in some areas. Frick spheres and frick zenny costs for weapons/armor.
Make armor upgrade from successful MR quest completions or something else
Thank god I cheated all my zenny and research points in.
Afflicted khezu keeps filtering my multiplayer lobbies ree
Okay Rathalos is stupid.
Rarity 10? How? Highest I have is 7 and I keep melding and keep getting only 7
I think it’s MR6, but you get a new meld and remeld.
Who's your favorite Follower(s) so far?
I've been using Fiorayne and Rondine.
Arena grandpa and his gunlance is pretty cool
>procrastinated on completing the game so not ready for Sunbreak
>no one playing high rank to boost my ass
I brought this on myself
>MR unlock does not take previous hunts into account, you just start at 7
FOR
WHAT
PURPOSE
As soon as i learned that i just rushed to unlock it and then do all the quests
Frick me for farming up multiple gear sets and enjoying myself I guess
Oh well, I'm not rushing the game because Capcum is dumb
Still working my way through base game. Does this mean if I get to HR50 in the gathering hall then move on to Sunbreak I'll just be back at 7 for Master?
Unironically seems like a glitch
It's never been that way
It was the same for high rank since the HR only uncapped with the chameleos update so they kept the same for Sunbreak
Sure am glad I saved all the side content for the end, didn't frickin trust them after the all-mother patch bullshit
>Jumped from 7 to 10
???
That's the current cap raising to 10 you moron.
>Reading comprehension
>join lobby 1 minute in
>all of the supply items are gone from the cart
>proceed to intentionally triple cart

So lance bros, Diablos or Tigrex lance?
>post yfw when palico kittenator
Kittenator proves that palico have really shitty reflexes
Gore Magala
good boi
>beat the final boss STILL wearing valstrax armor
...Am I really going to replace rise valstrax with sunbreak valstrax?
Why the frick was the whole game so easy? I never thought I'd view world as a hard game but rise/sunbreak is really making me feel that way
higher tier afflicted monsters are legit a challenge tbh. also just craft high rank rathalos at least
Rise is my first MonHun game and I was expecting something harder after all the shit talking the fanbase did with Soulsgays. I'm up to HR5 and have yet to fail a quest.
>hr5
and? If I don't fail a single mission in the main story then it's a pretty fricking easy game.
You get 3 carts per quest. It's not ha5r to avoid failing a quest Black person
So you agree the game is easy. What's your problem then?
Like you posted. You're in hr
so what's your excuse for this guy then?
mister samegay please
>the fanbase did with Soulsgays
keyword is did, because rise is the second easiest monhun to date
The games before gen5 (excluding p3rd) are much more difficult, mostly because the player is much, much slower.
>all the shit talking the fanbase did with Soulsgays
not anyone's fault that one famous souls speedrunner got trashed by low rank village in rise
This is your average Buckborne speedrunner.
it was genuinely embarrassing
It reminds me of watching LobosJR try and play Devil May Cry and him saying he liked 2 the most because he could just use guns easier.
I guess getting decos is easier than ever with the new weapons, isnt it?
>an entire new batch of monsters
>new variants
>Tigrex or Narcacuga is everyone's best weapon still
Wow
epic
>Tigrex or Narcacuga is everyone's best weapon still
Not even close. Because we have much more skills available weapons' natural affinity loses its value and that really hurts the Narga weapons.
probably just a salty hunting horn player since they got cucked into being stuck with narga
He is right about tigrex though
What are inefficient but fun builds? Wanna try some new weapons.
So how's GS? Feels pretty good with the new moveset. I'm on MR3 right now.
i'm loving it brother. the new combo skill makes it super fun to play, most fun version of the weapon so far
what did they mean by this
>thought hunter had a fat ass
>those are just his pantlegs
I'm sure the imagery is intentional
When does G start? In M5 now
How the hell can you access that small area below zone 13 in the citadel?
>Absurdly fricking easy
>Expansion also mega easy
>Gore Magala completely wasted as a side-fight when he could have been the final boss and made sense in-lore
>The actual final boss is lame as frick
>Narcacuga/Tigrex weapons are STILL the best
>90% of the new silkbind moves are garbage
>game still wants you wander around collecting birds (which you can skip but it still feels lame)
I like the new maps but Sunbreak still feeling like a miss to me.
None of the armor sets are interesting either
ok snoyposter, go back to world and play with your clutch claw
What's worse, clutch claw or having to play rodeo 1-3 times a map while gathering birds?
Why cant a monhun game just let you fricking fight
Birds are probably the biggest non-issue gimmick in mh games.
What birds?
monster appears in the same area exactly like in every other MH game, you can dung bomb it exactly the same as in any other MH game, or you can mount it exactly the same as any other MH game since 4
so what's the issue compared to world? you'd rather take longer to get to the monster as it runs between areas while having less meaningful hunting helpers etc to collect as you move? literal non criticisms here yikes
>Why cant a monhun game just let you fricking fight
Sunbreak is specifically designed in such a way that you spend as little time as possible fricking around unless you want to. Even mounting is optional now.
funnily enough they already made an option to turn off the rodeo
>skipping stunlocking a mob for 20 seconds while doing 15 thousand damage to it
I mean yes you can SKIP doing rodeos but...
but what? I instantly turned it off. if I could reverse the shitzones in iceborne because of the clutch claw I would
Show me a legit video of "rodeo" doing 15k damage and I will eat hat full of shit.
I'd rather take an extra 30 seconds on the hunt, rodeo just ruins the flow of combat so much.
wait what how
there's a setting that you can turn it off. somewhere in controls I think
Clutch claw was so much worse, absolutely no question and no argument can be made to the contrary.
Especially on Iceborne release when tenderize lasted half as long and took twice as much effort (so it was 4 times worse than post-Fatalis patch).
(you) never mentioned cooldowns autist.
I don't care what you call it, it you like spending literally half your fights tenderizing parts over and over again, go back to Iceborne. Also go pirate an early unpatched game so you have to do more tenderize attacks, cause you apparently like eating shit.
meds.
>I don't have any argument or evidence to present so I'll call the buy BTFOing my shoddy argument a crazy guy
frick off
>Clutch Claw doesn't have a cooldown and being forced to run around grabbing powerups sucks wiener
(you)
>Nargacuga/Tigrex weapons are STILL the best
blatantly false
>90% of the new silkbind moves are garbage
blatantly false
>Gore Magala (existing non elder dragon) should be the last boss fight
lmaolol
>Expansion absurdly easy
t. hasn't fought afflicted variants of high tier monsters
>birds
these are a non issue - get them as you head to the monster, ignore them if you want
>t. hasn't fought afflicted variants of high tier monsters
Is the final boss a variant? Because I'm still using high rank gear like this guy
I'm not even good at these games but iceborne made me eat shit for wearing drachen
anon i'm shit at MonHun and i had a harder time against HR Zinogre in Rise than anything in base World/IB, i dont know if it's the monster selection or antything but rise felt harder than world
>but iceborne made me eat shit for wearing drachen
unironically how? besides monsters added on the TUs iceborne was completely nonthreatening
Barioth alone pretty much one shots you unless you get actual mr armor.
And Malzeno can deal 50-60% of your HP through 2 points of Guard Up while wearing upgraded MR gear, what's your point?
by getting one-shot? Pretty simple, rise master rank mobs just don't hit hard outside of a few exception, Im sure the infected ones will hit a little harder but that's post final boss endgame, iceborne started one-shotting you in drachen quite fast, long long before it's final boss
>long long before it's final boss
Glavenus is only 2 monsters dude.
This is the exact opposite of the truth
No, it isn't, go wear fully upgraded drachen and try some iceborne mobs, you don't even need to do the endgame ones, ones as early as barioth or glavenus will one-shot you with simple attacks
yet multiple people are casually strolling through all of sunbreak wearing valstrax, final boss and all
considering that Valstrax fully upgraded is 100 def per piece, and the upgraded MR armor while still doing story caps at around 124 it's not that big of a surprise, there just isn't a huge def gap between valstrax and early MR armor. a decent MR set shits all over valstrax HR though, no reason to keep using it out of spite or something
>No, it isn't, go wear fully upgraded drachen and try some iceborne mobs, you don't even need to do the endgame ones, ones as early as barioth or glavenus will one-shot you with simple attacks
I must be a fricking god gamer then because I remember wearing Drachen way late into IB.
>slot in health boost 3
>don't get one shot no more
>don't even have to collect bingbirds like you're wasting your time every hunt to activate easy mode
WWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
You just suck holy shit, barioth was easy as frick.
The hardest thing about that piece of shit is actually hitting the jumping moron. Still, him being easy doesn't change the fact he hits you for 60-80% of your HP even in low MR gear.
>Only one rarity difference
>Comparing fully upgraded armor to non-upgraded armor
>non-upgrade armor has only 2 less defence
You're not very smart, are you?
I used that pic as proof because I kept telling people that I beat the game with HR gear and everyone kept telling me I was lying, so yeah. The pic wasn't meant to imply that MR gear was bad
How the frick is that picture proof of anything? Are you actually moronic?
If you look behind the menu I have the multiplater icon for beating the game, idk couldnt really think of a better way to show "proof" of such a silly claim
was trying to show how i only made a few master rank peices of gear then never upgraded them since I decided not to use them
wait isn't that comparing sets you have? or am I moronic
no not at all, you need to be MR40 + before you start to fight tough afflicted variants
NTA but what MR is MR valstrax? Would be fairly funny if I could pull off replacing valtrax... with valstrax
it's not appeared yet at MR 48, i'd imagine it's closer to 100, you're better off just crafting like Rath X, it's straight up better and easy as frick to craft/upgrade. you'll get cucked hard against some of the afflicted mons after around MR 20 without a MR armor set
I didn't realize the end game was going to be this extensive. Every single monster has an "afflicted" variant?
>iceborne made me eat shit for wearing drachen
Lying b***h, it literally gets easier as you progress especially with the high dragon res of drachen
Sunbreak files pretty much confirmed the TU monsters for the first update and maybe the second one.
>Seething Bazelgeuse
>Lucent Nargacuga
>Silver Rathalos
>Gold Rathian
>Espinas Subspecies
>Mizutsune Rare Species
We already knew this because of the longsword descriptions that were leaked a while ago but it's confirmed the one that was new (the one with the butterflies in the description) is a Mizutsune rare species.
While everyone already guessed that Metal Raths were going to be TU bloat, it still feels lame to see it confirmed.
I fricking hate drip feed model so much.
>Mizutsune skips getting a sub and just gets a rare species
I'd call bullshit but after dumb shit like Frostfang Barioth and Crimson Glow Valstrax this sounds perfectly feasible
I really like Sunbreak. But holy shit that the last boss fight is just awful.
Have some free cosplay
hey it's the guy from ace combat 7
you did remember to feed your lil homie right?
I ate that dude when they gave me the choice
What armor have you guys been using so far?
Full Malzeno with crit eye 3 charm and Hammer.
Started off using a mix random stuff but settled towards the end on full Shagaru with Seregios gauntlets.
Wroggi mixed with leather for maximum cowboy
Did they say frick it to money? I’ve gotten 12 platinum eggs from just playing and doing missions in Sunbreak
WHY THE FRICK IS THIS GAME SO EASY
WHY AM I PLAYING "MASTER RANK" AND JUST AUTOPILOTING THE GAME
WHY DID I JUST BEAT THE FINAL BOSS WITH HIGH RANK ARMOR ON
Its so moronic how they can't even balance the armors good enough to play with while progressing through the game. I want to take my time and build around, but its very hard to make anything decent.
What's the over/under that most of these "omg sunbreak so easy!!!!111" post are just one homosexual samagayging?
sns is kinda.. fun
>played for 13 hours straight today
>with a friend, even
This shit does not happen often but am I glad that Monster Hunter still ignites the spark of vidya autism
Clutch claw and riding is the same shit there's no debate classic monhun is dead we're never going back
Yeah AIDS and diarrhea sucks but one is clearly worst than the other
Ice Werewolf is the best fight they've added this expansion
Nothing else is as fair
That and Seregios were my favorite fights.
Iceborne was better.
You know it to be true
The Jungle theme makes fighting Rathian for the umpteenth time feel exciting.
Is greatsword worth using?
How are the new skills?
How is CB in SB? What about Savage Axe mode?
>hammer is still dogshit one dimensional impact crater spam where if you miss a single one you're a waste of space
>hunting horn got thrown in the cuckshed since rampage weapons are gone, stuck with narcacuga again
Why the frick is blunt so shit in rise?
Lance is unironically the best blunt weapon now.
bogpill me on sunbreak lance
The very first switch skill you get is a free action to slap your shield forward while blocking.
this does a decent amount of blunt damage, and since you block during it you basically get a free hit in their face every time they try to attack you, and blocking like this also uses way less stamina.
I get way more consistent KO's in with lance than I do with hammer. And hammer is one of my mains.
I came when I used the lance in one of those arena missions after not touching it in Rise at all until SB. Shield charge, backwards escape and insta block are really fun.
>Why the frick is blunt so shit in rise?
It's not, it's just the Blunt weapons that are shit. KO is better than ever.
>KO is better than ever.
Didn't KO status get nerfed to shit in Sunbreak?
Courage hammer is cool now
>stuck with narcacuga again
welcome to glaivetown
>finished base world, dropped iceborne
>want to try another playthrough but I fricking loathe the clutch claw
help
I wanna play the PC version but I don't want to redo everything I did on the switch.
>Final boss has some cool looking FX and the design is cool, but the fight is the most generic thing imaginable outside some moments where you stop playing MH and play House of the Dead for a short period
It's literally just a fat version of Xeno'jiva
>entire story of rise and iceborne is mobs becoming all corrupted and infected
>Gore magala is in the game
>HE ISNT THE FINAL BOSS
WHAT THE FRICK IS THIS SHIT, THE WRITING WAS RIGHT THERE, ON THE WALL, YOU COULD HAVE JUST MADE "SHIN GORE MAGALA" OR SOME SHIT INSTEAD OF SOME OC FINAL BOSS NO ONE CARED ABOUT
take your meds magalatroony. when would they ever reuse a monster as the last boss
...Fatalis?
Oh frick off. You know very well what it meant.
Fatalis wasn't part of base Iceborne
>magala not even an elder dragon
it's like making barioth the last boss or something. not happening, no one except you wants it either
Anon there's already an elder dragon variant of magala in the game right now, try playing it
Shaguru is an Elder Dragon, anon. Gore is not despite literally being the exact same creature that you fight twice.
Man the fatalis fight was a genuine 10/10, world had some ups and downs but I think monster hunter will never top that fight
Fatalis fight would have been 10/10 if they didn't go full moron and add a pointless 30min timer.
Are you actually braindead?
World Fatalis fricking sucked fat wiener
Superboss
why would a mid tier monster be the final boss, moron
gore wasnt even the final boss of his own game moron
Base Sunbreak has meager easy content so that the DLC drops a plethora of insane shit on us that will eventually dwarf Iceborne. Calling it.
Can you use ele/status GS with the new combo moveset?
Th-there's a hard KO deco r-right..?
why the frick is literally everything rarity 8? great izuichi and magnamalo gear
Iceborne is one of the hardest video games ever made. This is a joke in comparison.
t. hasn't been past MR 10 never mind MR 60
You really need to get some new material.
I'm only MR2. How is lance so strong now?
What the frick kind of buffs do you have on for your slap to hit for almost 600? I have full damage set and my slap barely hits for 300-400.
Right? I’m at MR2 and What the frick is going on with that damage?
Offensive Guard 3 + Crit Boost 3 + Attack Boost 4 + Spiral Thrust buff + the usual attack consumables + 290 base power lance (Basarios Venom Spear+) with blue sharpness.
Stacking a lot but I wasn't expecting over 500 damage on a single crit of the adept guard riposte.
What switch skills are you using in this webm? I think I'm playing lance wrong.
>Lance has this kind of damage while Gunlance stuck doing 90 damage per shell and 200 damage erupting cannon
That's it I'm changing main.
>those fricking numbers
this webm singlehandedly sold me on Lance
what's the most comfortable way to switch skill scrolls?
l2 circle+triangle
I HATE THE ELDER MELDER I HATE THE ELDER MELDERI HATE THE ELDER MELDER
>Espinas just one shot me with his charge
What the frick
ain't nobody got time for this shit. grindfest
get out normie
It's baby level grinding, they're still too generous with required materials and drops.
hello yes, how do i fight almurdon without wanting to kill myself
Just don't fight Almudron
IG with the counter switch skill bullies him quite well, but only for part of the figjt. Whenever he goes underground you can counter into his attack and then dash forward to be right in his face, and he can't do shit because his attacks in this state are all via his tail and once you're on top of him none can hit you.
Still miserable whenever he's above ground, though.
I just lost my job and I can't afford Sunbreak, feels bad because I got this game like 2 months ago and by the time I'll get it, the hype is going to be dead. I wanna ride the hype with my bros, this isn't FAIR.
im sorry anon, hope you bounce back soon
Thanks a lot bro, really.
I worked for an e-shop company as a translator, ya know, translating documents like assembly guides for the products they sold, pamphlets and all of that. But apparently due to a resurgence of Coof, the e-shop is selling less and less, so they couldn't afford to pay us anymore. They fired the whole translation/customer service department, me included 🙁
>resurgence of Coof, the e-shop is selling less and less
How? Don't people use online shops more if they can't go outside?
What happened?
What's the best MR armour for a pierce build?
bow is the only acceptable ranged weapon
Didn't ask homosexual
And no one asked for your shitter bowguncuck ass to exist now kys
So what happened in your life to make you like this?
Just about to fight Lunagaron and already have a 7 Attack Boost/3 WEX/3 Crit Boost/2 Crit Eye (for 50% base affinity with Narga glaive) set up. Guess I'm spending the entire rest of the game trying to squeeze more handicraft in (currently have 2) because what the frick else do I need?
Imagine playing a weapon that requires thought when it comes to builds.
chain crit, power prolonger, master's touch with your affinity weapon
I think every weapon in Sunbreak is a lot of fun except Insect Glaive, I genuinely can't tell how you're supposed to make this shitty weapon do any damage
Your mobility lets you freely attack during animations it would be unsafe to do so with any other weapon. You can do very good damage anyway (hitting 1K in a diving wyvern in the midgame is not difficult) but it's the fact that you can be on their ass constantly that gets the damage in.
I just fought ibushi for the first time in some rampage. How close am to unlocking sunbreak?
You have a ways to go. You haven't even unlocked your HR cap, and then you'll need to grind that up until the final Narwa fight is available.
you only need to do the 7* narwa quest to unlock sunbreak anon
Wide erupting cannon is fun
n-no one play burst normal/long shell?
Not the guy you're replying to, there are people who use normal/long with new WF/hail cutter spam play style, but I hate adding more keepup skills.
i still play normal burst gl 🙂
Anyone else on PC have their game freeze for a few seconds and then continue on like nothing happened?
Happens every so often and its fricking annoying.
Happens to me when someone is about to join in a quest during a hunt
It happens to me playing solo and even in the village.
skill issue
Disable auto save, It'll also fix the talking to npc lockout.
You use the new combo GS option. Prease understand.
>When or where am I supposed to even be able to charge my hits when every monster either moves erratically or does a knock down move the moment I hold triangle.
Have you tried charging your GS in the times where the monsters stand there growling at you for 5+ seconds, or during the time they're attacking?
I'm having trouble making Strongarm and Backslide work. Monsters keep running past me or they do combo attacks before I can counter.
I personally zip around like a moron with adamant charge, and unga the monster to death with rage slash, swapping to TCS on knockdowns or stuns
Should I meld all my shit talismans before I unlock the new options or wait?
you can't meld <rarity 8 talismans with the new meld. don't waste stuff like friend tickets yet though, save them for the new melds
Are you fricking kidding me? I've been saving all these shit talismans for the new recycler.
I just unlocked Bullet Barrage for my Gunlance.
I fear I am not responsible enough for this amount of destructive power.....
>use bullet barrage
>monster move
>miss my bullet barrage
>use bullet barrage
>monster move
>miss my bullet barrage
>use bullet barrage
>monster doesn't move
>miss my bullet barrage
i'm having fun, i don't care what other player think
The fact that this garbage has only 17 monsters makes me mad.
The fact that this garbage is fun and creative also makes me mad.
>The fact that this garbage has only 17 monsters makes me mad.
Why? If we exclude time locked event quests that also dripfed content like the Title Updates that are coming, doesn't that make it the second biggest G/Master Rank expansion roster? Not that I ever really kept track, I suppose.
>Hunt Afflicted Monster
>Don't carve an Afflicted material
am i getting senile and it's always been like this, or is rise a really bad offender for monsters just having their whole bodies turn into hitboxes for attacks where it doesn't feel like they should? 10/10 otherwise this shit is even better than IB and i'm so fricking glad hyper monsters are back
Malzeno's chest somehow registers as a headshot for hammer strikes, it's odd.
New melding is still an absolute trash dispenser.
It's the exact same as before, you just have the possibility of having a level 4 deco slot as the first deco slot.
They can still update the matchmaking sustem right? Its fricking trash
Why is strongarm stance so shit? I thought it would give true charged slash or rageslash on counter, but it just gives shitty level one charge? How the frick do you play with it?
You counter during your first charge and skip to TCS after the counter with a 35% buff to your damage. Shit is broken and lets you easily hit for 3-5k damage without even trying.
so do MR ranks accumulate once you break the initial cap before breaking the next cap?
Some people claim that they don't, if they actually don't, then it's probably a bug.
They did Lunagaron really dirty by giving his attacks miniscule hitboxes. What a waste of a cool monster design.
Garon curse
Don't you fricking scums have a general?
Cultural phenomenon
Frick off dumbass, don't YOU have a twitterscreencap thread to be in?
>it's alright when elden ring does it
I despise every single person who has custom messages, you are not funny or quirky with them. The moment I see your unfunny message for mounting, I am going to triple cart your hunt.
Unfortunately for you, you can't escape that way because I have maximum Free Meal, Wide Range and multiple Lifepowders. You have to read my cringey Dragon's Dogma quotes.
Based to an infinity degree, love u beb
You are forgiven, for I love Dragon's Dogma, and I love being reminded that wolves do, indeed, hunt in packs.
How do you trigger powder vortex?
>being able to switch from gotcha b***h gs to uunga buunga gs on the fly
>thinking of all the shit they'll add to DD2 as I'm having fun with sunbreak
You just know
Me with TsuKINO every single day. Well, I just force my cat to wear the Tsukino outfit, and she's not allowed to take it off, not even in the shower.
Elgado is so fricking comfy
>nooo i don't want to hunt with this gorgeous girl, she is being mean to me during a hunt
I hate her because she's a g*nner.
I don't think i've seen her ever dropping traps. Other hunters do it, Rondine literally spams them, haven't seen Luchika do it even once.
Hmm, might not have been her dropping the trap, but I do know that during one hunt she went missing and when I looked around she was standing behind the trap just doing emotes. Was very weird.
I know Rondine just fricking teleports away to ride monsters which is also very jarring.
Her hat is silly
CB counter
>comes out instantly
>offensively generous counter window
>fills phials + can lead into big damage
>costs 1 bug
SA counter
>doesnt come out instantly
>tight window requiring a second input
>amps weapon + does big damage
>costs 2 bugs
why
because SA counter has such a low cooldown you can literally spam it
GL counter
>serves literally no purpose other than sharpening your weapon a little
>only leads into your regular attacks
>costs 1 bug
>has medium Wirebug recovery speed to boot so it won't outpace your Sharpness losss
We'll never know.
This shit would've been incredible for GL if it had been a regular part of the moveset
Or if Reverse Blast, which is coolest and most fun skill in the game, didn't exist to take up that slot.
>the new hammer skill is pretty mediocre
>except when it comes to IC where it does 50% more damage
They designed this shit purely to force people to use the switch skill nonsense
i hate impact crater so much for what it did to the hammer playstyle
at least the new buff works well with courage stance
>Hammer is nothing but spinspam
UOOOOO KINOO
>Hammer is nothing but upper cuts and triple pounds
UOOOOO KINOO
>Hammer is nothing but le funny slide spinny and big bang
UOOOO KINOOO
>Hammer has the most complex it has ever been, optimizing damage is really tight but also has a hard to land punisher that deals big damage
Wtf hammer is just impact crooter I hate it I want to go back to spammimg big bangs or golf swings!!!!
Kys firehosing homosexuals
Huh? What skill buffs impact crater?
>Lance
>Guardian set
Comfy as frick.
Im not that far yet but thanks for the tip anon.
*slaps*
I don't have a good feel for stats yet. How much defense would you sacrifice for preferred skills? I like the rapid morph and evade extender on MR volvidon but they have a defense of 96 where late game greaves have defense around 120
don't sacrifice any preferred skills for defence. even if you feel like you need more def, you can slot a +5 def (8% more def) decoration into a single 4 slot.
If you're going to slot defensive skills, actually go for something useful like evade extender/window and eat defensive oriented dango instead.
>2 staged morph combo
>gives you like 80% of amp gauge on elemental/status phials
>recharges your sword and bring it online no matter what
>elemental burst counter
>virtually zero wirebug cooldown
>insane damage
>instantly amps you
>2 stage morph recharges your sword
what the frick
ive been using the slide to recharge this whole time
Slide is still useful because it recharges more but the first stage of morph combo is insanely good for how fast it comes out and its passive effects
You can literally go back to sword with 0 gauge
can i have sex in this game?
Yeah, ZSD
MR. WEAPON

haven't got a single rare drop from any monster today
I fricking crashed. Thanks Capcom. I'd rejoin but I don't think I have time for another hunt. Just wanted to get one in before I had to leave. Sorry.
atleast i got a gem. thanks for the help CB bro
room's still up if you want to join
>Chevalier followers don't unlock once you beat Gaismagorm, the thing they were literally investigating
I am very mad. All of these followers are lame options.
How much easier or harder is countering on PC? Seems like I've been missing a couple of my counters because of the sudden framedrops/jitter on the switch sometimes.
If you play on 60fps or higher, you have half the window that switch has. Switch has it much easier due to having bigger window with lower framerates.
Hmm i see, the biggest con of me switching to pc is the grind to get into sunbreak. But after playing the demo, the switch framerate hurts my eyes.
Is it actually confirmed the window is tied to framerate? I'm playing at 160fps and haven't had any issues countering shit.
GOD DAMN I WANT THAT LITTLE PRINCESS
LOOK AT HER
FRICKING LOOK AT HER
Holy FRICK insta-block is fricking amazing now.
what was your first cart in sunbreak?
>korone fan
>carting to Tetra
Sounds about right you stupid listener.
That same shit happened to me, but with Nargacuga.
I made the horrible mistake of assuming Rathian won't do tailflip 3 times in a row.
I didn't think you could get hit midair by another bounce from tetra. I've bugged out midair against that so many times and not been hit.
I don't remember the monster, but I got slapped midair and it was funny
I wasn't expecting Rakna to do her butt slam twice in a row and she got me. Im not even sure if its a G rank thing.
Tetra urgent
>Using GL even though I'm not great with it
>It's a large gold crown
>Fricker literally will not stop spamming it's charging attack even when I'm right next to it
>Twice it manages to get cart me by stopping its first charge right on top of me so I can't see properly and then starting the next one while my shield's facing the wrong way
I didn't think Orangaten would do his tech trap 3 times in a row and I got hit by it each time
Garangolms big fire explosion thing
Was too busy going full unga bunga on his face and figured I could just tank it cause full health
Literally everything because I changed weapons.
I was charging rage slash against espinas and he combo'd me to death
Kulu yaku when I was trying to figure out how sacred sheathe worked. It was funny because I was stunned and he slowly walked up and hit me on the head with a rock
Royal Ludroth
>MR Goss Harag
>start fighting
>he just manhandles the frick out of me and I die in less than a minute
>go back and fight with little trouble
guess I was just not on the ball, but it sure made me scared of this guy for my first MR fight with him
carted once with HH, carted agian with GL, fun fight ngl, can't wait for his sub/variant
>can't wait for his sub/variant
TU3 trust the plan
>sub/variant Goss comes out
>he has a 20 second long ADHD combo of massive swipes you can't block or wirebug through all of
>that constantly misses every hit of it even if you standing right next to him
>Play Dual Blades
>Evade Extender 3
>Retreat to neighboring zip-code in any threat of danger
Feels great!
The good ol Anjanath double bulldozer
…Khezu. Its new neck and lightning mortar attacks threw me off, and my Rath Blaze Splitter kept bouncing off it due to its boosted armor.
Khezu combo'd be into a wall and then shotgunned me
Wirefalled an Espinas charge and he turned around and murdered my ass before I even finished the animation
hey there boys
is sunbreak good? I kinda gave up on rise halfway through high rank and never went back to it
should I just play through FU again?
Just play through FU forever.
Crack when? And no, I am not going to play the Fisher Price tablet version.
>beat Rise on Switch
>want to get Sunbreak on PC but will have to restart the entire game
Frick this new shit of releasing unfinished games. Frick modern, frick you
Just mod your save on PC. The reframework was updated recently so you should be able to cheat in everything you want to start Sunbreak.
>sunbreak has Denuvo
Why.jpg
>surge slash combo
I only started playing Sunbreak today but holy frick this is great
Do people play this dog shit? It's the same thing over and over again, I seriously do not get the interest in monster hunter. It's basically a mobile game that you pay 60 dollars plus tax
what are the attack buff memes I should be doing every fight?
drink a (mega)demondrug, eat a might seed, and then use the demon powder
GL bros are we using long now? Exploding cannon + guard reload seems good and i think bullet barrage is pretty overrated
i stuck with normal since i like blast dash and full burst too much
big fan of EC too
Wide lance with erupting cannon has been working pretty good for me.
Just shell shell EC shell guard reload and repeat.
How do you cope with recoil? Forward hop or double poke?
>almost got triple carted by Narga the first time I hunted a MR one
I’m not gonna make it, am I bros…
MR narga is fun as frick with lance, the fricker just doesn't stop.
is the blue buff better than the stake for a Normal GL?
Sure feels like it to me, especially if you are working a lot of slaps into your burst combos.
Yet to be figured out, I guess. There's a Rampage Deco that boosts Wyrmstake level, for example.
>sit there dabbing on astalos parrying everything with ready stance and blasting his face with my giant pizza cutter into a KO then looping burst 2 ad nauseum
having a fast defensive option from axe is so fricking good. if they bring back the valor loop in the 6th gen games ill never get off of CB ever again
Weapon balance feels a lot better this time around
I only need seregios arms and astalos greaves, makes any weapon with purple sharpness usable
How's SnS this time around? I remember not really liking it in base Rise.
Still shield and sword.
That's either good or incredibly unfortunate. I hope my memories are wrong.
Barely changed.
lamo, thanks anja and pukei
Does anyone know if afflicted mons have new attacks? I swear I've seen these frickers do attacks that I never saw making my way through MR.

PANIK.PNG
what malzeno weapons are worth making? they all seem really good
Yes. His armor is probably the best general set to make too. Hope you're ready to farm this fricker for a bit.
I haven't seen a better Lance before the final boss yet
Shaggy maybe since it's got a better rampage slot and affinity but way less raw, might be better with the right setup
>Gaismagorm
He's probably my favourite final boss of the series
>straight fight instead of gimmick or Siege
>fricking gigantic, but not a slow boring fight
>animations are spectacular, over the top and yet completely fair
>clearly designed around Wirebug, but you can still beat him without using them
>brings back that "OH FRICK WHAT'S IT DOING NOW?" feeling to Elder Dragons
>has really good looking equipment with a fun gimmick as a reward
>You even actually get to see the Villagers participate in the fight instead of them always just pretending it was a collaborative effort
>looks cute as frick
I love this dumb thing.
>that fricking fiery wings + light reflection moment before the laser
suzuki I KNEEL......
any of you know how to unlock this set?
probably something to do with MR arena hunts if I had to take a guess
Follower quests
Yea that's annoying but there was nothing more frustrating than losing track of a monster well into a fight when the paintball wore off
Everything you just complained about was either 100% predictable in old Monhun too or still exists today in Modern Monhun anyway.
>using a small bomb to proc strong arm stance when a monster's down
here's ur housekeeper bro
:3
Did they improve palamutes at all in SB? If it wasn't for the faster movement, I wouldn't take one.
Plus this,
Does feeding the white cohoot chick do anything or is it just this game's version of the poogies?
where the FRICK is my poogie capcom?
frick that Ill send cute pics if you just play sunbreak with me
eh i tried
when does this come to ps5?
Why are the final boss weapons all so shit?
Because you have shit taste
I'm talking mathematically not design wise. They look fantastic obviously.
SNSbros how is it looking for us in master rank? I'm finishing up some dango quests before I head in.. Does the oil make everything okay?
It's pretty great. You can use the oil to buff and scroll swap to keep your shoryukan.
Same overall feel as Rise, but more options and a little more tactical in usage.
why did they have to make the vampire dragon so sexy?
I'm torn on this. Played and completed base Rise on Switch, and left with a pretty meh impression of the game. Felt way too easy and like there was an over reliance on weapon skills/arts(?) , multiplayer also seemed like a mess at times. I did enjoy fighting some stuff like Khezu again, but I never thought twice about the game. Does SB add enough to improve on the base game? Are there real challenges now? Used to be a hammer main, but am planning on switching to lance/GL if I come back for this
multiplayer is still shit
singleplayer is very fun
gunlance and lance both got cool shit in sunbreak
i still dont like ground splitter
even more so now that i want to spend my bugs on bullet barrage
The former buffs the latter and you're not limited to 2 Wirebugs, anon.
>I have played every single monster hunter since Tri
>Why is sunbreak so easy!!!
Exactly the same as souls players ripping into fromsoft games.
>(first souls game I played) was so much harder than this game
>MR3
>Fight Goss
>He's fricking huge, my Sns can't properly reach his claws when he stands upright
>Proceeds to rub my face in the dirt, nearly triple cart, takes me half an hour to down
>He was only fricking silver crown
>Fight Barioth next
>He's also fricking huge
>Held out better than Goss, althogh the rinky dinky range of the Sns made it a pain
>Fought a Gold Crowned Pukei Pukei in MR2
WHY is everything so BIG
>Do the double honey bear quest
>Both of them wander into the same area
>One of them is like 75% larger than the other
>Get a gold crown
Multi-monster hunts have always had a better chance of extreme sizes but it really seems ridiculous this time
Already finished Sunbreak.
I'm tired of Gankers constant negativity
so which weapons won this expansion and which ones lost?
i think literally every weapon won in some degree or another, at least for blademaster. I think the only large complaint ive seen is for hammer and IC spam but ive also heard the courage mode is cool but i don't play hammer at all so cant confirm. if you want a pure number based answer come back in like a month.
I didn't think they could make gunlance more fun but they did it, erupting canon is fricking bonkers and lets you easily combo into multiple fullbursts
>lets you easily combo into multiple fullbursts
how so
rising > slam > fullburst > slap > erupting canon > poke > quick reload > slam > fullburst
I'm pretty sure this isn't possible with wyrmstake but wyrmstake might be so slow that I never tried comboing stuff after it.
the only big loser of Rise in general is HH
GS easily won the most. Strongarm stance is probably the single most insane switch skill in the game.
>ground splitter
>scroll switch evade 3 miles away with ee3
>bullet barrage back in
holy FRICK
I finally unlocked Master Arlow's Gunlance and I love it. Unfortunately, I'm not particularly great with Normal after using Long for so long.
This may be difficult.
Whats the difference between long and normal playstyles? Never really played GL
is there a deco for charge master?
>aurora somnacanth
what a completely not fun fight
Definitely the least enjoyable of the new subs. Magmadron is actually pretty fun, Blood Orange is a perfect example of a subspecies being different than the normal species, Pyre Rakna... exists. Auroracanth's attacks and worse hitzones are not fun. Haven't fought Scorned yet.
I dont care for any of the leviathans. They seem to all have taken notes from Kulve Taroth.
Has anyone done any research into how MH AI actually works? Sometimes I'd swear certain things will trigger their attention like item use and sharpening, yet when I try to sharpen and eat near a trap and they've never fallen for it.
What's the endgame like? Are there like tempered quests or something to keep you playing? Or is it dead like Rise where there's nothing else?
Raising MR to fight butterfly-enraged versions of monsters to get materials to upgrade weapons
similar to older games with stronger version of the monster you already hunt but with specific drops to better your gear.
Sadly no guiding lands or infinite hunt style of map
>infinite hunt style of map
Can't you just go on Expeditions?
they are restricted to a specific list of 4 monsters that will repeat over and over again
and have no impact on your progression
Fricking homosexuals holy shit. How hard is it to add a randomish hunt where monsters are on different maps or with different combos? Seriously you can only fight the same monster on the same map so many times. Dropped rise immediately after clearing every quest at least once.
I don't know either man
big disappointment, I don't even want a new map the new castle map seems really cool you could put a bunch of random monsters there and let me hunt for hours but I guess that's asking too much
Completely agree. I love the arena in these games because they're actually a unique challenge using gear id never normally use. Let me just fight the damn monsters I want to fight in a cool arena.
Also MR outfit vouchers
What's the deal with powder vortex? I've seen other people use it and it looks like they just twirl the kinsect and it pulls all the powder in? What's the actual input? Kinsect throw on its own with 3 extracts seems to do ~600 but just spamming the strong combo with an assist seems most reliable overall still
Hold down ZR and press A+B, vortex will appear where your kinsect is
You can also cancel it by calling it back
Final boss is so lame. They'll never top Xeno and Shara.
xeno was fricking garbage
one of the most boring fights ever and it took them until arch tempered xeno to make it enjoyable
Shara >>>>>>>>>>> Gaismagorm > Narwa > Xeno
>They'll never top Xeno
>Xeno
really?
Does Gaisma's head break twice or are the horns a separate hitzone?
The armor you can make after teaming up with the gunlance guy is friggin sweet, it has good luck 3 capture master and you get one of those Byleth style longcoats that clips into weapons
Brehs the HPN Yomogi mod updated for sunbreak.
https://files.catbox.moe/z7aocm.rar
We're back in.
are you the one behind the mod?
and in case you are are you going to do chichisomething?
I'm not, and someone already did Chichae.

yeah I have that one installed but was hoping for a jiggly one like the yomogi mod
Yomogi’s beautiful athletic legs!!!
I found a rule 63 for the other smol ones https://files.catbox.moe/ypke9x.rar
I mean you're seeing words that aren't there so despite the fact that I didn't say it, it would seem apt to use to describe you.
just beat Astalos and got the new switch skills, wearing the full Basarios set with the Magnamalo GL
am I good until endgame? which armor sets are best for GL? I'm going to assume MR Bazel is our best rn, until Seething of course
>Picked up a new weapon for sunbreak after a year away from the game
>I suck at it with 50+ hunts
Man I don't know why but I was WAY better at Tri/4U, maybe I just need to go back to SnS
First time playing hammer. How do I play hammer?
>How do I play hammer?
don't think, just bonk
and spam impact crater
holy shit the tracking on narga's double tail slam is insane. How the frick do you avoid the second slam???
you have a few second before the second slam
The same way as the first tail slam. You dodge left, or rather backwards from the first tail slam/towards the left if you've turned to face the place Nargacuga jumps to.
playing a male char, is there any armor in the game as chunky as this set?
Probably not quite as chunky, but there are certainly some sets that look far cooler on male characters than they do on female characters.
Closest you'll get is probably the Basarios gear.
Basarios is the chonkiest in the game right now unless they add his grownup version in a patch
But there's something fricking wrong with them if they do that because Gravios is terrible
>Follower Quests are actually harder than regular quests because it turns predictable monsters into spastic morons
Still optimizing. MR 16 at the moment.
good long shell for early MR?
Howlitzer+ has long 6
what about around MR4? still howlitzer?
I'm at 3 but there's already other GLs with long 6 but better raw like bone and magnamalo's
alright, thanks
Pyre Rakna was surprisingly fun to fight. New back moves keeps it interesting like the butt charge or the double butt slam. And she makes good use of small monsters (something I wish more fights took advantage of). Batting all the little spiders away with a charged lance sweep felt great.
I don't really get why it's a separate subspecies when they could've just given those moves to MR Rakna
What even inflicts Blast in that fight, when the little spiders shake themselves off?
>you can’t just buy Ingot X
This is some bullshit right here.
I regret making a female character, most of the armour is ugly af. Do character edit vouchers let you change gender?
They do let you and you can change everything without spending it so long as you do not confirm, but also bad taste the female armour is cool as frick this time.
i will now integrate wirebug whisperer into every gunlance set
I'm kinda glad Lance doesn't need it much cause I don't see how I'd make room for it
Having a level of it was nice just to keep the 3rd bug around longer but I shuffled my set around and don't have the Lunagaron gloves on anymore, for now.
>currently climbing MR on GL
>have to make the choice between Razor Sharp 3 or Wirebug Whisperer 3
bros...
>Shells still deal the same damage at lower sharpness so you only lose out on melee damage
The choice is easy. More explosions.
>Shells still deal the same damage at lower sharpness so you only lose out on melee damage
no way
Make a new non moronic thread
how the frick are you supposed to do the final boss? Is this another case of insect glaive winning again?
Just bought Rise and in under 8 hours I'm already HR 5.
Am I rushing things too fast?
The champion weapons are too strong, maybe I shouldn't have used them.
I want to try the new skills already.
even before i always see that as Quick seethe
>i always see that as Quick seethe
you need to spend less time here bro
