This game is a mistake. There is nothing about this that is better than the 2D games and it makes no sense why they'd make this. Miyamoto has gone senile at this point and it's a damn shame. I loved Mario ever since the NES and now they are going to kill it with this shit.

FF1 to 3 will come out for the Gameboy Color. FF 4 to 6 will then come to the next handheld. Tech will be improved by y2k, with rechargeable batteries.

Apparently, they are going to have a bunch of FMV shit in the new Final Fantasy. If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd pop in an actual movie like Good Fellas, Star Wars, or Braveheart when that comes to VHS. Plus the 64 is getting its own RPG that's going to be an FF killer anyway, so I wouldn't worry much about it.

I'll give you Super Metroid. I can see that taking both Zelda abd Mario as the new face for Nintendo going forward. I beat Metroid at least 5 times by now from start to finish and not once was there a reference to anyone, including Metroid himself, have any affiliation with a woman. Of course that wouldn't have helped much with making the game not be mediocre or a boring slog to play through, though.
