Yeah, and East TX doesn't actually have mountains and isn't actually that close to West TX. What's your point?
Like that’s any better
I mean, get over it you fricking gay. It's a 12yr old video game in a fictional universe.
What was Blackwater/The Great Plains supposed to be based off of?
The edge of the West, so realistically somewhere like the Front Range in New Mexico/Colorado.
Just a generic area in the Great Plains. Could be anywhere from Texas to North Dakota. It looks a bit cold though so I’m guessing somewhere in the middle.
Well that’s fricking dumb
No shit
>zoomers don't know that 99% of Westerns were filmed in Spain
The entire genre is basically fantasy
That’s spaghetti westerns. American westerns were filmed in California and Arizona.
Americans have been making westerns since the silent film era, hack shitalians got into the genre in the 50's after vera cruz came out
Only Ganker complains about RDR and it's always some autistic nitpick by an underage /misc/ migrant
We get it, nothing exciting has ever happened to you
>ride horse for 15 minutes
>completely different biome
literally unplayable
The Mexico portion of the game is lacking. All that area and only a handful of missions.
It’s got the same amount of missions as West Elizabeth though
And it’s twice the size
It was the most memorable one though. Rickets, Reyes, Louisa, Gay Santa
honestly didn't care, because going from the more realistic plains/desert of the northern part of the game smack into the full blown notMonument valley portion of mexico is one of, if not the single most KINO moments in all of gaming
The problem with mexico is that its 60 miles wide, and 5 miles deep, and ever mission riding to one side of the map to start the quest to ride to the other side of the map to shoot dudes, and then you have to ride back and forth through those two winding ass roads full of box canyons and switch backs.
Both towns are in the map’s western third, and every mission that takes you into the empty eastern territories has a skip trip option.
absolutely. I stepped in front of a runaway game
new austin has the same problem with shitty winding canyons and the one road that switchbacks 4 times every time you want to go up to or down from the mcfarlane ranch
>new austin has the same problem with shitty winding canyons and the one road that switchbacks 4 times every time you want to go up to or down from the mcfarlane ranch
Fair enough, but most of the missions at the ranch stay pretty much in that area. Go to armadillo once or twice.
And generally rockstar is really good at using tricks like that to make areas feel farther apart than they really are, but with mexico there's not enough slight of hand and seriously EVERY fricking mission is going from one side of the map to the other, and then back again.
At least on the US side, they have box canyons, and some steeper cliffs to keep you from cutting straight across country, you can still take plenty of shortcuts overland. In mexico the map itself is just this too narrow corridor.
I enjoy the missions and I love the individual locations, but the whole chapter is just wearying by the end.
At least the poncho is nice.
Duster for Austin and Poncho for Mexico simple as
Elegant suit and gentlemen’s attire for West Elizabeth
well la di da mr. poker cheat
It sucks they didn't bring back cheating in 2.
Its hard to get rich off it playing in the game, so you might as well have an extra element of fun.
sure, it was the best way to start duels too
homie what
Just bad timing, don't know what the first one even is
>all that yellow in the bar
lol
seems fun but streamers are sovlless
I just realized that were people that were alive when this game takes place and when it came out. Imagine seeing all that shit.
I doubt a single 100 year old played or cared about the game
Not my point
Sorry but what you posted was barely English, I did my best.
I just meant it’d be fascinating to be born in the American frontier, yet still witness technology advance to the point where there’s things such as HD video games. Not that video games would be significant to a 100-year-old, but they’re indicative of a widespread change.
I give up you make absolutely no sense
You are assuredly more moronic than him
desert is desert
>RDR2 was hyped on Ganker as GOTD(decade)
>try it
>close my eyes on slow gameplay as long as it's authentic i guess
>mission starts
>Arthur pissing own pants over encountering 1 law in cutscene
>cutscene ends
>have to kill like 50 NPCs in small town
>then pay 20$ fine and world is literally same as before
Why.
Also
>using modern lingo("colored" people towards homies)
>late plot makes no sense
>John is a cuck
Why Ganker praises this game anyway? Graphics is good, but what matters about games is really shit, it's glorified cutscene simulator, movie-game(not kino though)

I finished it, though it took great willpower especially considering 8 hours epilogue featuring most cucked character.
The region was originally based on real life mexico, but they couldn't get the playtesters to want to go there.
Where is Tall Trees supposed to be in the first one? They clearly retconned it to California in the second, but in the first it’s just pine trees.
Don’t care
Don’t care that you don’t care homosexual
I don't care that you don't care that you don't care
>They clearly retconned it to California in the second
No they didn't. It's montana/wyoming.
You have never been to Montana or Wyoming if you think they have sequoias
>Calls itself a Western
>Takes place in New Orleans
