Do you enjoy survival strategy games?
I kinda liked Frostpunk and I want more but there just seems to be trash out there.

Homeworld
Homewhat?
Play it.
I found like 6 different games called homeworld, anon.
Do you mean the RTS series? Wouldn't exactly call those survival games.
Atilla has already perfected this genre.
>totalslop
>strategy
Kek
what point are you trying to make?
Try dotAGE, i had a lot of fun with it. it's a indie rogue-lite turn based survival game. It's balls to the wall difficult or at least i thought so but i probably just suck, it's a lot harder than Frost Punk at any rate and probably the kind of thing you're looking for.
The look of the game is just plain painful.
Frostpunk is a borderline storybook game.
Which I don't mind, I love my King of Dragon Pass, but they could have been more honest about it,
>Survival Strategy
>Frostpunk
That's survival themed puzzle game.
That aside I have been enjoying They Are Billions. I'm slowly doing the campaign one mission a day. I feel like the research you get per mission doesn't scale with the threats. I'm at difficulty 3 and yet to get concrete walls.
I think most people shat on the campaign
Most strategy game campaings(if they only have 1 campaign) are just tutorial
>yet to get concrete walls
Get it asap. If you don't have them by the cape storm mission it's virtually impossible to win and you have to restart the whole campaign (happened to me).
I did cape storm with just wood. Made the thickest barricade I could using walls and towers and then just crammed 200 soldiers behind the barricade.
Try Anno 1800 or Endzone. Stranded is decent as well.
If you want more of that, Ixion is basically Frostpunk-in-space
You might like Gord tbh. It's way more diff8cult than Frostpunk.
Try Against the Storm
Against the Storm is good, but it's also too different to be called anything other than a rogue-like colony builder.
It looks so fricking goofy though, is it?
nah
I enjoyed Frost Punk for a little while, but it quickly grows boring as you realize it's just a puzzle game in disguise. You have very few different ways to actually get things right (I dunno how many, it felt like only one or two, but I didn't play/research enough) and eventually that gets really boring really quickly.
It's a good game, I like the setting, and I would go back and play again now that I forgot how to win, but overall games like this grow too stale for me.
I know a lot of others share this sentiment as well, I've seen it expressed here plenty.
