Contrary to what contrarians would have you believe, SV are among the best and most successful games in the entire franchise.
PLA is a spin-off and spin-off games will always 'flop' compared to main games. Trying to change the Pokémon formula will never work.

PLA wasn't a complete game, needed more to it. Same with SV but it's more familiar.
Actually SV is getting third DLC, on pokemon day they will show it, we are getting part of the kalos, and HGSS remakes and BW3 looking like PLA, they stall for gen 10 that is coming in 2025
If we get a 3rd DLC, maybe we'll get the remainder of the HOME-locked Pokemon in S/V.

How is everyone still coping about the sales? First of all if it weren't pokemon selling in the millions to begin with would not be low sale. But it sold as many as both copies combined of BDSP in the same period of time and was better reviewed. I'm not really sure where this narrative that it flopped massively came from

probably because it only had like 2 trainer battles, i liked some of the mechanics but the games feels like a techdemo for what should be side content in normal pokemon games
