They used to bother me. But so many of the devs I like have left the AAA industry that I feel that companies like Sweet Baby Inc really only hurt people whom are playing games with millions of players.
This is just another face in a sea of faces to put to already extant problems that have been around since the 90s, the overuse of consultation firms and the need for shareholders to pressure the company to chase any trend that will have been "current" 3 years ago by the time the game actually releases have always been problems.

E.T. situations now happen on the regular, it's just that the studio gets shitcanned and redistributed while the game itself is written off for tax reasons. Nothing shakes faith or causes real lasting damage anymore, there's just an endless trend of consolidation, resurrection and degeneration.
