>Mario Kart 8 Complete (includes all booster pass courses)
>3D Mario game (very similar to Bowser's Fury)
>Metroid Prime 2 Remastered
>The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Remastered (improved performance, higher resolution textures, greater draw distance)
>Buy it shortly after launch in anticipation of the hack, or wait until its hacked then run out and grab it?
Decisions, decisions.
you want the firmware to be as low as possible so get it at launch
Mario Kart 8 is 10 years old, frick off already
Mario Kart 9 with a preorder bonus of a handful of tracks that should've been in the game already and less tracks than 8 had at launch
sorry anon new games take 5+ years to make now, easier to just port and remaster old shit
What do you think they've been doing for the past 7 years?
No, booster courses were being ported by a tiny team
>Metroid Prime 2 Remastered
no way metroid prime 4 is next
>The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Remastered
honestly think this is one of the rare cases where they'll just give you the duology
nah its totally valid it was the best selling switch game, theres tons of dlc to be bundled with it, people will still like the game / the nostalgia factor (maybe considered the definitive mario kart in the future) and it'd give them time to make the next one. you know people will rebuy it
>it'd give them time to make the next one
they absolutely don't need any more time
I don't think MK8 Deluxe Deluxe is that likely.
Yes, it's the best selling Switch game. How many future Switch 2 owners haven't already played it? Especially if Switch 2 features BC.
If there actually is a substantial pool of potential buyers, then there's the Mario Kart 10 (Tour is MK9) issue. If people are to choose between MK8DD with gorillion tracks and characters for $60 and MK10 with less then a half of those for $70, which one will they pick? It happened with Crash Trilogy and Crash 4
I still haven’t played it so I’d consider getting it on switch 2. Not everyone plays every game that comes out when they are released, little boy. Skyrim still sells for a reason. I’ve still not played Skyrim actually
It will be Mario Kart 8 Ultra Deluxe
>more ports
Can't be expected.
>no new games
the most believeable leak yet.
nah, MK8/MK8DX is not happening
there's going to be a MASSIVE MK9 marketing campaign, possibly Nintendo's biggest marketing push ever
It will be just a Switch pro to continue the switch life time sales and break records
Nintendo doesn't care about that. They announced 3DS over a year before release and cut DS's legs short just before it became the best seller. 3DS wasn't a DS Pro either
>predicted to
By who? They didn't even bother trying to bait you by saying "insiders say " or "according to analysts" so this must truly be the author's own made up shit
It's an english article referencing predictions made by a japanese analyst.
"Predictions" doesn't mean those are completely uninformed takes.
>remaster
>not odyssey 2
>remaster
>remaster
what's the appeal?
As long as it's backwards compatible, it's fine.
>Nintendo's Switch 2
>Predicted To Arrive
>Never Ever
ftfy
very accurate prediction of games, given the current state of shittendo™
We're missing a controller gimmick.
my prediction is Switch 2 in a few months
then Switch 2 Pro in 2028 to keep the Switch 2 series somewhat relevant until 2031
then they go VR
I'm going to be optimistic. Launch title will be metroid prime 4, it will be meant to mirror the first botw launch. It will be the year of metroid where we get huge metroid games.
It won't happen but we can pretend and imagine it and be happy for a moment 🙂
>Metroid Prime 2 Remastered
If Prime 2 and 3 get remastered it will be just a simple resolution bump. Retro only finished remaking Prime 1 before they got tasked with making Prime 4, so 2 and 3 got shafted.
Prime 4 will be a cross gen release on Switch 2 launch.
>The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Remastered (improved performance, higher resolution textures, greater draw distance)
TotK is more likely. They'd want people to keep buying it.
Maybe both. Separately, of course.
>predicted
The horoscope for today compels OP yo hit their face with a shovel seven times in a row for an unexpected source of wealth. Better not to anger the super cereal augur, aye OP?
ACTUAL Switch 2 launch games;
>A single first party Nintendo game
>A couple of Ubishit games nobody wants
>The latest EA FC
>A smattering of cross-gen games you've already played years ago like Arkham Knight and Doom Eternal
>Twenty or so eshop shovelware games shoving each other out of the way to try and get the console launch bonus sales
>The latest EA FC
>Arkham Knight and Doom Eternal
Already on Switch
I believe there won't be any late ports at launch. Nintendo will want the customer masses to think "This is a portable PS5 with Nintendo games", and not "It's a Nintendo portable with PS4 ports".
Late ports will come later to fill out emptier months.
I think any ports/remasters from Switch to Switch 2 will be marketed as upgrades
BotW 4K for $60 if you're a new customer
$10 if you own the original (physical or digital)
when nintendo makes a new console, it's so they can rehash all their old games again. And the consoles never last as long as their competitor's console before they release a new console.
>And the consoles never last as long as their competitor's console before they release a new console.
Switch is 7 years old
GB lasted almost 12 (twelve) years
Not a great example when a lot of games that were exclusive to the console at the end of it's life were re-releases like all the DX stuff and even Pokémon Crystal which was the first actual GBC Pokémon required game.
In other words, even the GB pro was what he says. Didn't even need to be an entirely new console.
Of course he misses the point that this only worked because they were good games.
MK9 is the ONE thing it needs to launch with. Sure MP4 will likely be there and be crossgen but that's not a system seller like BotW was, it really needs MK or Mario 3D, preferably Mario Kart but if the new Odyssey team game is ready by launch I won't be surprised.
It's already 400€, christ. At least I don't support nintendo anymore
Naturalism in a nutshell.
I hope the switch2 is a thousand dollars to filter out all the poorgays
im tired of poor people doing stuff that I do
Good value if nintendo wasn't such a shitty business
What are some non-shitty businesses?
Not many, but at least I can pirate nintendo stuff
€400 for a piece of hardware I'll be using for seven years (and beyond?) is fricking NOTHING (15 CENTS A DAY)
we can't have nice things (powerful consoles) because of people like (You)
FRICK this gay planet btw
PLUS ULTRA
>"Mickey, listen, we can claim a rock outside of earth's orbit and make new copyright laws before space expansion is legislated properly."
>xenoblade
>supermario sunshine
>lets go johto
>3ds nintedo online
yeah it's going to have dual screens
i can make up shit too
so it has no exclusives at launch?
remakes of copy pastes of copy pastes do not count as exclusives.
he said MARIO
what did Switch even have?
fricking... 1-2-Switch?
This. Launches are usually not stacked at all, you'll get Mario Kart and one other notable thing and a bunch of slop and ports that will be forgotten in no time. It can still have a great first year though.
>Mario kart 9
>Super Mario Universe
>Metroid Prime 4
>The Legend of Zelda: Oracles remake
>Xenoblade X remaster
Your reaction?
coom, as long as they remove ALL of S****o's trash from Xenoblade X
Filtered. Sawano's music in X is peak kino.
Peak garbage, worst OST of ALL Xeno games, including Episode I.
You'll have to learn how to live with your shit taste
literal noise
>The Legend of Zelda: Oracles remake
>Xenoblade X remaster
my dick is hard just thinking about this anon
lets frick right now
Incredibly limp
I'd trade all of these for a new IP
>Metroid Prime 4
That's not what they promised. It was supposed to be Switch 1 game, not Switch 2
BotW was supposed to be a Wii U exclusive too
Xenoblade X main story needs a full remake. The actual maps/gameplay are good tho.
If Oracles doesnt have the funko pop style like LA then I'm sold
>$400
doubt, nintendo usually aims for the $200-$250 mark, but with today's inflation it'll probably be $300
and switch1 will get a price cut
I hope nintendo still supports the switch because not every game needs next gen power, they could keep it alive for another 20 years, only a handful of games really need the extra power
>Mario Kart 8
I hate Nintendo and tendies so much it's unreal
why does she have a crepe on her face?
It's a japanese comedy routine.
You would never understand.
Would you die if I took off that mask?
>The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Remastered (improved performance, higher resolution textures, greater draw distance)
I don't think so, Nintendo isn't stupid they won't sell an experience that Switch emulators have had since 2018.
If they're doing this I wager they're adding more than just resolution and textures.
tendies do not know what emulators are so ot does not sound like a problem
>no Project X Zone 3
FAKE
>Wario&Waluigi: Mushroom Mayhem
GTA like game where you go around the different areas of the mushroom kingdom trying to commit crimes and steal but inadvertedly keep saving the day
