The Switch UI is so much better than the WII U's because it got you into the game super quickly. It's the best they've had of any console, actually.
My 3DS launched games just fine for the tech inside it. I'd happily wait just a bit longer if I didn't have a boring Kindle dark mode that perfectly represents how soulless Nintendo is now.
The best consoles had little UI like GameCube, PS2, Etc.

Arkham Knight was an awful port that dropped to single digit fps on the Switch. I've also been playing gigabash more lately which is 60fps on a deck but an unlocked 30 on the Switch. Obviously dev incompetence factors in but there are plenty of bad third party ports, or ones better played elsewhere.

It is more expensive, the switch oled is £319 the Steam Deck lcd is £349, the steam deck oled is £479. Not to mention you can get the lite for £199/USD.

Both have a 350 dollar msrp and this is from Nintendo's own site. Besides, that price difference couldn't be considered double by any stretch.

Yeah and you can get the oled for £120 more according to you, and I bet you got one in spite of that because it's just a better device overall. When you pay more you tend to get a better quality product, that's just how it works and I'm sure you understand that since you bought an Ally that costs more than a Deck. Either way the Deck is comparable to the Switch in terms of price but you obviously trade certain things, like oled for lcd, because you have to pay more for the hardware.

The full journey is having to update atmosphere, so you disable your custom profile, but realize you could give a frick to reenable it, so you’re right back to the stock Switch layout.
Frick the wallpapers, just give me a method to sort my library and have some fricking verticality to it instead of having to trudge though a horizontal bar that is only sorted by last played.
