different world
canonically after RPG. Smithy's invasion introduced the concept into Mario's world.
RPG is clearly in its own continuity. All of the RPGs are in their own continuity.
The real question here is Sticker Star/Color Splash/Origami King really part of the same continuity as 64-Super? I want to say no but I'm sadly likely wrong on that.
iirc in sticker star there's a garbage dump or something in one area and if you dig around in it you can find a letter from goombella or something
not sure if the other two have any references.
Frick them for connecting that shit trilogy to the cool PM games. It doesn't even make sense.
I think Mario & Luigi fits in nicely with the main series canon, considering Partners in Time incorporates baby Mario and Luigi faithfully. And in the M&L games, Paper Mario is a separate world, contained in a book from Peach's Castle.
Mario is from Brooklyn.
The Jailed DK saying that any resemblance is coincidental implies that DK is in Real Life
>only time a sword appeared in Mario games in Yoshi's Story
The lore is deeper than you think. Mario has never somehow actually never encountered a sword up until the events of SMRPG despite swords showing up in later Mario games
Mario told everyone about swords.
So what do the various Levies of the Mushroom kingdom use? Spears? Maces? Halberds? Axes? Pikes?
hammers, mostly
Super scopes while riding on Yoshis.
>Blasting away with laser rifles while riding superpowered dinosaurs.
Kino, they should bring back the Scope instead of just leaving it in Smash.
Super Scopes, Power-Ups, Hammers, the various magic powers the people of the Mushroom Kingdom have.
curved swords?
That's a scimitar.
Mario RPG takes place in a separate canon.
Dont the sharks on Johnny's ship use swords?
MY NAME IS EXOR
I'M THE RAPPER'S ANGEL
I don't think starting a name with "Ex" is enough to call it an Excalibur reference. I'd say the "-calibur" part is the crucial bit.
The original name is Calibur so Woolsey tweaked it to be less on the nose.
Plus the way it stabs right into Bowser's Keep gives it a real sword in the stone look.
hm, interesting, thanks anon
Should have left it since I sure as hell never realized Exor was an Excalibur reference as a dumb kid (the main audience)
