My school sometimes went till 5 or 6. I would come home absolutely dead tired and couldn't do anything but lay around since I was also growing and didnt get enough food in school. I was experiencing wagie doomer hell before it was cool
High schools used to start earlier than they do now, zoomer-kun. Then a bunch research came out in late 00s about how students who had class later performed better in school, so it got pushed back around the country gradually.
Your ilk was the butt of the joke for two consecutive decades on here and SA.
Everyone unanimously agrees that phones letting your kind online is specifically what killed the internet.
I graduated high school in 2014, school started at 8 AM and ended at 3 PM. Ended at like 2 on a Wednesday in our senior year, which was supposed to be the time spent doing our community service hours.
Middle school started at 8 and ended at 3:45
Grade school 8-3

So why did games like Halo and Call of Duty became not only acceptable to discuss but like here? I genuinely do remember when the posts weren’t removed that you would be ridiculed endlessly.

Strong gatekeeping creates good times. Good times makes weak gatekeepers.
I remember everyone shitting on Yugioh GX mercilessly when it was airing. I become an adult to find it's beloved, and it boggles my mind until I realize it's because adults will always love the things they experienced as kids, no matter how shit they were.

Except that in CoD's case it used to be discussed here, it wasn't until IW removed dedicated servers from MW2 and the franchise's mainstream status that made CoD "forbidden" to talk about on Ganker.
It's 2006, you get off school at 4:20 and head home, you turn on your Xbox, you sit down, put on your headset, join a party with all your friends, you start up Halo 2, all your friends join your lobby, it's battle rifle time, and you got nothing but time (except the homework you didn't do, the 3 projects due soon, and the book you need to read).
who the hell got off school at 2:15?

I was a grown man in 2013 with a wife, kid, and drinking problem.
I would come home and eat buttered noodles and play Final Fantasy VIII or IX while my grandma fell asleep on the couch folding laundry.
