You could plausibly create a lighter full plate that's only around 15kg in weight. A weaker person would have no problem wearing that. I did military conscription with some weak people and they could carry up to 30kg in modern equipment during an 80km orienteering foot march.

The term medieval has not place outside of the lands of Europe once ruled by Rome. Anyone who uses it for anything else is a bad historian. On top of that, the medieval period spanned from 1060s to the 1480s thereabouts.
Finally, when a tabletop gamer says "medieval" they actually are referring to an ahistorical pastiche that often applies the aesthetics of early medieval northern Europe to the culture of colonial North America, and including the technology of early renaissance southern Europe (except for guns).

Playing this kind of game in GURPS is actually fun, but as a specific contrast to still enjoying high fantasy bullshit. We played a 100 point game as a band of mercenaries. In a game where full-plate works as DR, fighting a trained knight was terrifying until we knocked him down and sat on his limbs so another player could remove his helmet and cut his throat.
