I played the open beta to it's full extent. It was pretty enjoyable overall. Looking forward to seeing more personal interactions with all the musicarts and also the story.
It had some minor faults, like the translation being rough and a bit unnatural; it's readable, but it can stick out like a sore thumb in some parts.
And having to do a bunch of mutarot card minigames to earn special currency to buy ingredients to make drinks so that you can do the 1 on 1 tea time talks. Doing this quite a few times every day after reaching the daily cap on the currency you can obtain from this quickly wears off the novelty. I don't remember any other repeatable method of earning the currency either. I think expeditions give some but I believe expeditions reset weekly.
I do hope the game does well, not feeling confident in it succeeding globally, but JP should be fine.
Best advice I can give is start by focusing on leveling 4 to maybe 6 characters otherwise you'll put yourself in a roadblock from running out of resources pretty quickly if you try leveling everyone you get. Destiny in the beta was a really good character, scaled nicely throughout, so she's a solid choice.
On a side note, surprising to see Titan turned into a collab character, I was half expecting her to show up naturally from some sort of story development.

Not sure how they frick up a concept this hard, especially since this is some big "multimedia project" or some shit. You can see where the budget ran out the second you leave the menus to see the atrocious 3d chibis and environments, the battle graphics somehow look and feel worse than limbus company's, a game from a company of like 15 fricking people.
"multimedia project" is always a meme and you should avoid any game trying to go that path like a plague. It's a really shitty attempt to build up a franchise by wasting their money on various worthless media projects instead of developing a high quality game with that budget.
This one probably doesn't even have autist devs like yuyuyu and toji no miko games who loved the IP to keep it going for years beyond expiry date. A shame because I kinda liked the anime.
From personal experience the best 3* are Walkure, Fantaisie Impromptu and Swan Lake (Queen of Sheba seems good too but I haven't tested her). Moonlight and Daphnis and Chloe are very good for 2*.
I kinda agree. Story could be interesting but they made Takt into some beta amnesiac. He was amazing in the anime but he's just soulless in this game. The numerous bugs, lack of QOL, and bad translations don't make things any better. I'm not playing anything else right now but will probably drop this game fast if I find something else to hop to.
I've already built all but Fantasia teams which kinda needs a shooter so I'm fine. I guess she'll replace Moonlight for me. Haven't managed to get her yet from my rolls tho.

I got really lucky and got Titan first multi. I would like to use Titan with Winter for the aura but I don't have Spring, or Fantasie.
I did 60 after that but I'll sit on the built up pity to use it on Cosette instead. I really cbf spending a bunch of rolls on top of needing to farm a bunch of scale upgrades getting a team to work with her.
Spring is pretty solid yeah. You don't really need Fantasie though. I'm planning to use this team from game8 for Titan if I manage to roll her (but with Bolero instead of Aria)

You use Echomond for gacha pulls if you don't have any Friendship Scores. But if you have any of those Scores (which we got like 50 of as gifts when the game first launched) it uses those first.

She's good but not the best. Most of the people rolling for Titan are people who watched the Takt Op anime and enjoyed her in that rather than people who simply want a good/limited character.

I so fricking hate how they managed to hollow out the soul out of this IP. We have fantastic unique art, great music (originals are better though), and a MC with fun enough personality that is self-insertable for those that want that.
The game delivers all this with the energy of a wet sponge. I remember trying the beta, and the game is now even worse. Most notable might be the gacha rolling animation. Characters came with unique intro fanfare with special effects matching them, making each one unique, now every fricking one is a bland introduction background. I think they censored a few of the girls, but I don't have the energy to double check. What is the same is the worse than anime MC, frick this bland homosexual. Summing it up, soulless trash in every aspect that has nothing to do with art and music. Frick them for ruining the potential. And for those wondering, JP players hate the devs and are not too fond of the game. I hope those that enjoy it continue to do so, but don't pay, it's not looking like a lasting game (not even 1 year going by recent trends). At least the anime was fun.
I thought it gets better, at least the story, once you get to the Pavane arc, even if it highlights how dumb it is that barely anyone questions Symphonica's evil shit. The biggest issues are the fact that everything is unintuitive as frick and the stamina system. At least they fixed the level locks.
The Global version actually got more pulls to re-roll with than the JP version, and the beginner banner that guarantees a 3-star in 20 pulls is for paid gems only in JP but not in Global. So the start of the game is a lot better in Global.
That being said, playing JP likely means more longevity for the server since Global usually gets closed down before JP. So both versions have their ups and downs.
Their stamina limitation reasons reeks of bullshit. Almost like they've never seen how other mobages implement this. The stamina cap is usually increased with your level and lower difficulty farm stages usually cost less amount of stamina instead of being same for everything. Now I have to waste stam to catch up with achievements on the lover levels.
Anyways this letter is so weak considering how much stuff they need to improve/implement. I'm thinking about dropping the game next month since it wastes to much of my time and the existing stuff is too subpar to keep my interest.

That's just the musicart process. In case you couldnt remember the anime, Anna becomes the new Destiny when Cossette Destiny died - hence why the Destiny in the game doesnt remember anything but there's some frickery going on

That party's pretty good. Winter over Twinkle would be the next logical upgrade for the future. Also, even though she's only a 2-star and technically weaker than Fantaisie, consider trying out Bolero. She has a skill that gives both blue and green tuning in one attack so she's great for helping Titan build up ults, and she's also an Eternity faction character who would get boosted by Winter's field skill once you get her.
Spring/Bolero/Titan/Winter is considered one of the best teams in the game right now, and it's what I've been running ever since I pulled Winter like a week ago.

Don't bother, that's only for mega whales. You can acquire notes to ascend characters through other ways if you're patient enough, plus the stat boosts you get by ascending beyond 3 stars aren't even that big anyways.

There's a Melodic Score banner right now with Winter and Fantaisie on rate-up, so pull from that one to try and get Winter. Spring and Bolero are only 2-stars, so you'd have to be massively unlucky to not have them after doing all of those pulls.
Ouch, that's a shame. Twinkle or Pomp can be a budget option to use as a healer in place of Winter, but I can't think of a good budget option to use in place of Bolero/Fantaisie. Just look through your characters and try to find an attacker who has either 2 blue skills or 2 green skills. Preferably blue, because your other characters will already be generating green for Titan's ult and you need someone to generate blue.
Is there a way to get more rolls f2p? If not I might just keep rerolling.

Not quickly. You can get echomonds a little bit at a time in a lot of different places, but that takes time. If you absolutely want this team, your best shot is re-rolling now while Titan and Winter both have rate-up banners active.
Also, if you manage to get a re-roll with both 3-stars but not Spring, then Jupiter is a decent free tank option over her.
Anyone here knows what are the benefits of aiming for the higher level of Expeditions? (as in not the starting lvl 20 but 30/40/etc)
Do you get more rewards from that? The game doesn't really have anything about that and I can't test it since you get locked when you select the difficulty.
I mean we all knew she was coming as she's pretty much in the game and you can even see her PP in the Titan event.
I'll prob just skip if she's another fricking gunner though maybe they'll give her one if the two classes no one uses like Assassin or Sthelther or whatever the hell they were called.
I'm 99.9% sure Cosette is just legit dead in the anime. Her soul was wiped from existence when Destiny was created, so when Anna became the "new" Destiny (that was actually tuned correctly by Symphonica instead of being an unstable irregular like the first Destiny) at the end of the series to set up the game, Cosette's body could now die along with her soul.
We have no idea how they're going to bullshit an explanation for both versions of Destiny existing in the game yet, but I guess we'll find out once she and her event get added later this week.
Yeah my luck in this gacha is incredibly shitty after all. After I've barely manage to scrape up for 60 rolls I got Erlking instead. Don't feel like I have it in me to try to get Cosette after this.

Got her and Elreking in 70 rolls which is pretty okay I guess. I didn't save up and just did dailies everyday plus the event and shit.
Honestly, I'm more excited about Elreking because I only had Carmen and Titan to do EXP dailies and they can't 3 star the harder difficulty ones.

I see, let me know how it plays out since I'd be apprehensive about dropping a tank. I haven't really looked into struggle teams so I'm not sure how it works. Managed to snag Sheba but is she enough of an upgrade compared to Carmen in these comps?
Iirc Belkis works with the Anna's field buff so she may be better overall than Carmen for DPS unless you really need a shifter.
Tbh, I've felt like my Valkyrie/Walkure has been underperforming and wondered if having a defender is even worth it due to all the AoE plus some enemies just straight up ignoring them sometimes
NTA but I agree with what’s said. I feel like you’re supposed to use the two together and just blast through, the team will especially shine against encounters where the enemy does aoe or outright bypasses your tanks protection stacks.
As for Belkis I’m not entirely sure since I use her over Carmen, I assume that Belkis just has higher scaling plus in certain situations you get to do a double attack. But speaking of Belkis, I think a team with Cosette and Belkis would be good since it lets you use Carmen’s awakened SSR memory which gives a 20% buff to PP and a 30% buff to damage because Cosette inflicts a debuff at the start.
Yeah, this is what most teams looked like normally but other sites have been recommending replacing Walkure with Cosette who can do a lot of damage and hit any position.
Basically, she doesn't replace Anna, she replaces Walkure. It's a more glass canon build ngl.

I have a full struggle team (double Destiny, Carmen, Pomp) and a full eternity team (Spring, Bolero, Titan, Winter) built now, and I honestly feel like I never need to pull again. These two teams can handle basically everything the game has thrown at me so far.
Managed to flawless P12 with this team.
Cossette being able to both attack backline and apply a debuff for the awakened Carmen SSR memory is neat. But her AoE is pretty anemic outside her PP.
It's a niche team though and only really suitable for that stage.
It didn't help with getting 3 stars on P9 Singing trial which was the last of the harmonic trials I needed. Had to swap Cosette out for Walkure to get the 3 star clear.
I've sorta reached the comfy point where I can just work on other Musicart's because higher level Expeditions needs teams I don't have built.

I mean yeah her AoE is just 30% patk compared to say Carmen's 80% matk standard AoE or even 60% matk dispel AoE so it's obviously more useful for stacking debuffs.
Still too early to say. I hope they won't let this get in their heads and actually start improving the game and adding more content asap because there really isn't anything much to do other then grind and do the shiny hunting.
Battles run somewhat smooth but menus are kinda fricked and my whole phone crashed when doing a 10 pull so I really hope they fix that in the future.
Anyway, I just started playing the game recently, it's pretty neat, I don't see what the big deal about the combat is, though I'm biased towards turn based gachas, and my opinion might change 5 months from now like every other gacha I try. Also, design wise, the super 3* Destiny is a downgrade compared to the main one from the story imo.

So, chapter 11. I dunno if it's just me being too critical but it was pretty bad. Every single story bit was completely predictable and the main cast remained oblivious throughout the whole thing.
Hopefully the next one (whenever it comes out) manages to redeem the story somehow.
That also reminded me that the original takt. op anime definitely wasn't a masterpiece in terms of a story. And the villains were terrible. But at least the main cast was quite likeable and there was a pretty strong animation and nice music to support it.
Still not sure what to think about characters here though. All of them are just acting according to their traits.

I got really lucky and got Titan first multi. I would like to use Titan with Winter for the aura but I don't have Spring, or Fantasie.
I did 60 after that but I'll sit on the built up pity to use it on Cosette instead. I really cbf spending a bunch of rolls on top of needing to farm a bunch of scale upgrades getting a team to work with her.
Spring is pretty solid yeah. You don't really need Fantasie though. I'm planning to use this team from game8 for Titan if I manage to roll her (but with Bolero instead of Aria)

You use Echomond for gacha pulls if you don't have any Friendship Scores. But if you have any of those Scores (which we got like 50 of as gifts when the game first launched) it uses those first.

I knew the anime was mediocre as hell because it was a fricking gacha ad and didn't have high hopes for the story, but no matter how good the art and music are, it's not enough to carry this shitty uninspired generic gachatrash. First time I've seen a gacha frick over the nip playerbase and not global though, so it has EoS painted all over it already. Could have been an actually good full-fledged game in the right hands, similar to the caligula effect franchise (had good art and music too and it was a pretty entertaining rpg) but I guess gacha brainrot is just too severe in nipland by now. It's sad watching LAM and Marasy wasting their talent on this shit. Anyways I hope some autist rips the assets, I really like the L2D in this one.

The usual Struggle team (Destiny-Walkure-Pomp-Carmen). You need quite strategy and some scales for this to work. If you're still interested I can post the entire strategy when I wake up in around 7-8 hours.
Why is Walkure so OP? She makes the game easy mode.
Kinda but not really. Bosses tend to do AOE attacks so if your other units aren't as strong as her you're going to lose.
Comfy struggle team with Destiny, Walkure, Belkis and Pomp gets you through everything.
Well good luck with defeating the last challenge boss using them. I wasn't able to because you're pretty much required to use Titan against him otherwise he'll spam you with ridiculous crits.
Ok I've actually managed to defeat him using the comfu struggle team. Had to change harmonies a bit but thankfully that did the work.

I'm thinking we'll get Cosette after Titan's event. That's my guess because the collab packs you can buy in the shops had a 40 day duration and both the titan event and pack you can buy is only 20 days long.

You just gotta get to the part where you do a single roll and get Carmen. It's quite ong but you do get like 50 rolls.
Just roll the Swan Lane /Walkure one or Titan if you want her. There's a guaranteed one after 20 and all of the three ssr are good.
Or roll the 20 one and save up for someone as the various 1 and 2 star are actually decent and you may even need to level some up for Expedition

She's good but not the best. Most of the people rolling for Titan are people who watched the Takt Op anime and enjoyed her in that rather than people who simply want a good/limited character.
If what you want a strong character the only 100% top tier reroll priority is Walkure. You can even shove her with Destiny, Carmen and Pomp and get a functional team without even rolling for a second 3 star.
I'd say Fledermaus is also up there with Walkure, but you only need one or the other unless you're building two teams.

I so fricking hate how they managed to hollow out the soul out of this IP. We have fantastic unique art, great music (originals are better though), and a MC with fun enough personality that is self-insertable for those that want that.
The game delivers all this with the energy of a wet sponge. I remember trying the beta, and the game is now even worse. Most notable might be the gacha rolling animation. Characters came with unique intro fanfare with special effects matching them, making each one unique, now every fricking one is a bland introduction background. I think they censored a few of the girls, but I don't have the energy to double check. What is the same is the worse than anime MC, frick this bland homosexual. Summing it up, soulless trash in every aspect that has nothing to do with art and music. Frick them for ruining the potential. And for those wondering, JP players hate the devs and are not too fond of the game. I hope those that enjoy it continue to do so, but don't pay, it's not looking like a lasting game (not even 1 year going by recent trends). At least the anime was fun.
I thought it gets better, at least the story, once you get to the Pavane arc, even if it highlights how dumb it is that barely anyone questions Symphonica's evil shit. The biggest issues are the fact that everything is unintuitive as frick and the stamina system. At least they fixed the level locks.

The Global version actually got more pulls to re-roll with than the JP version, and the beginner banner that guarantees a 3-star in 20 pulls is for paid gems only in JP but not in Global. So the start of the game is a lot better in Global.
That being said, playing JP likely means more longevity for the server since Global usually gets closed down before JP. So both versions have their ups and downs.
If you know Japanese then definitely JP since English translation is garbage and it doesn't look like they're planning to fix it.

Their stamina limitation reasons reeks of bullshit. Almost like they've never seen how other mobages implement this. The stamina cap is usually increased with your level and lower difficulty farm stages usually cost less amount of stamina instead of being same for everything. Now I have to waste stam to catch up with achievements on the lover levels.
Anyways this letter is so weak considering how much stuff they need to improve/implement. I'm thinking about dropping the game next month since it wastes to much of my time and the existing stuff is too subpar to keep my interest.

That's just the musicart process. In case you couldnt remember the anime, Anna becomes the new Destiny when Cossette Destiny died - hence why the Destiny in the game doesnt remember anything but there's some frickery going on

That party's pretty good. Winter over Twinkle would be the next logical upgrade for the future. Also, even though she's only a 2-star and technically weaker than Fantaisie, consider trying out Bolero. She has a skill that gives both blue and green tuning in one attack so she's great for helping Titan build up ults, and she's also an Eternity faction character who would get boosted by Winter's field skill once you get her.
Spring/Bolero/Titan/Winter is considered one of the best teams in the game right now, and it's what I've been running ever since I pulled Winter like a week ago.

Don't bother, that's only for mega whales. You can acquire notes to ascend characters through other ways if you're patient enough, plus the stat boosts you get by ascending beyond 3 stars aren't even that big anyways.

There's a Melodic Score banner right now with Winter and Fantaisie on rate-up, so pull from that one to try and get Winter. Spring and Bolero are only 2-stars, so you'd have to be massively unlucky to not have them after doing all of those pulls.

Ouch, that's a shame. Twinkle or Pomp can be a budget option to use as a healer in place of Winter, but I can't think of a good budget option to use in place of Bolero/Fantaisie. Just look through your characters and try to find an attacker who has either 2 blue skills or 2 green skills. Preferably blue, because your other characters will already be generating green for Titan's ult and you need someone to generate blue.

Not quickly. You can get echomonds a little bit at a time in a lot of different places, but that takes time. If you absolutely want this team, your best shot is re-rolling now while Titan and Winter both have rate-up banners active.
Also, if you manage to get a re-roll with both 3-stars but not Spring, then Jupiter is a decent free tank option over her.
Anyone here knows what are the benefits of aiming for the higher level of Expeditions? (as in not the starting lvl 20 but 30/40/etc)

I'm 99.9% sure Cosette is just legit dead in the anime. Her soul was wiped from existence when Destiny was created, so when Anna became the "new" Destiny (that was actually tuned correctly by Symphonica instead of being an unstable irregular like the first Destiny) at the end of the series to set up the game, Cosette's body could now die along with her soul.
We have no idea how they're going to bullshit an explanation for both versions of Destiny existing in the game yet, but I guess we'll find out once she and her event get added later this week.

Honestly, I'm more excited about Elreking because I only had Carmen and Titan to do EXP dailies and they can't 3 star the harder difficulty ones.

Nah. Anna's the reason you want that comp due to her field passive which Cosette doesn't have. She's just an unga physical attacker which is fine but nothing really irreplaceable. Anna also has the Counter which is what really makes her broken anyways.

I see, let me know how it plays out since I'd be apprehensive about dropping a tank. I haven't really looked into struggle teams so I'm not sure how it works. Managed to snag Sheba but is she enough of an upgrade compared to Carmen in these comps?
Iirc Belkis works with the Anna's field buff so she may be better overall than Carmen for DPS unless you really need a shifter.
Tbh, I've felt like my Valkyrie/Walkure has been underperforming and wondered if having a defender is even worth it due to all the AoE plus some enemies just straight up ignoring them sometimes
NTA but I agree with what’s said. I feel like you’re supposed to use the two together and just blast through, the team will especially shine against encounters where the enemy does aoe or outright bypasses your tanks protection stacks.
As for Belkis I’m not entirely sure since I use her over Carmen, I assume that Belkis just has higher scaling plus in certain situations you get to do a double attack. But speaking of Belkis, I think a team with Cosette and Belkis would be good since it lets you use Carmen’s awakened SSR memory which gives a 20% buff to PP and a 30% buff to damage because Cosette inflicts a debuff at the start.

Yeah, this is what most teams looked like normally but other sites have been recommending replacing Walkure with Cosette who can do a lot of damage and hit any position.
Basically, she doesn't replace Anna, she replaces Walkure. It's a more glass canon build ngl.

I have a full struggle team (double Destiny, Carmen, Pomp) and a full eternity team (Spring, Bolero, Titan, Winter) built now, and I honestly feel like I never need to pull again. These two teams can handle basically everything the game has thrown at me so far.

Not ALL of them, but up to my current level. My two teams are level 45 and I've cleared all of the commissioned battles up to the level 45 tier.
Managed to flawless P12 with this team.
Cossette being able to both attack backline and apply a debuff for the awakened Carmen SSR memory is neat. But her AoE is pretty anemic outside her PP.
It's a niche team though and only really suitable for that stage.
It didn't help with getting 3 stars on P9 Singing trial which was the last of the harmonic trials I needed. Had to swap Cosette out for Walkure to get the 3 star clear.
I've sorta reached the comfy point where I can just work on other Musicart's because higher level Expeditions needs teams I don't have built.

I mean yeah her AoE is just 30% patk compared to say Carmen's 80% matk standard AoE or even 60% matk dispel AoE so it's obviously more useful for stacking debuffs.

Still too early to say. I hope they won't let this get in their heads and actually start improving the game and adding more content asap because there really isn't anything much to do other then grind and do the shiny hunting.
Battles run somewhat smooth but menus are kinda fricked and my whole phone crashed when doing a 10 pull so I really hope they fix that in the future.
Anyway, I just started playing the game recently, it's pretty neat, I don't see what the big deal about the combat is, though I'm biased towards turn based gachas, and my opinion might change 5 months from now like every other gacha I try. Also, design wise, the super 3* Destiny is a downgrade compared to the main one from the story imo.
So what's your opinion on the mission "One Step Forrward II" in challenge 1-2? I feel like the one who came up with it really hates the players.

So, chapter 11. I dunno if it's just me being too critical but it was pretty bad. Every single story bit was completely predictable and the main cast remained oblivious throughout the whole thing.
Hopefully the next one (whenever it comes out) manages to redeem the story somehow.
That also reminded me that the original takt. op anime definitely wasn't a masterpiece in terms of a story. And the villains were terrible. But at least the main cast was quite likeable and there was a pretty strong animation and nice music to support it.
Still not sure what to think about characters here though. All of them are just acting according to their traits.
I liked the Pavane arc, but the next chapters don't really build off it and the MCs are quickly back to being Symphonica's goons...
