So is this just a Nioh expansion like SoP and Wo Long again? I'm curious what people are excited about here.
I'm going to need a demo. It should be good but I'm a little uncertain about the more grounded approach and open world. The release date is also poor because right now I'm playing Dragons Dogma 2 in March. I'll buy both but I think Team Ninja might want to push it back a week or two. Brief glimpses of combat looks Nioh-ish which certainly isn't a bad thing but I'll need to see much more of it.
You'll probably have to wait until december to get the complete version anyway.
If it's as unfinished as Wo Long was at launch then they're much better off just pushing it back instead of trying to compete with DD2 on the same day.
There is no competition, DD2 is a slow adventure and exploration game, Ronin is a high speed sekirolike action.
Eh, I know they're not exactly I like but I still don't think it's a great idea. DD2 is an open world action RPG and Ronin may just be an open world action game, I don't know if it has RPG elements.
