>Team Yell meant to be football hooligans
>Just a cheerleader squad for some girl because her big brother asked so
Will never forgive GAME FREAK for that. You could of had basically Team Skull on steroids but instead you had them simp for a 5/10 girl.
i still think the sports theme for Galar was the most boring angle they couldve taken it. They shouldve done like an evil royal family plot, that wouldve been actually cool. they were probably too scared to do it though. and the evil team are just brainwashed royalists who defend the royals out of dumbassery. Perhaps you and your Pokemon stumble upon the royal family being not so kind to Pokemon at the start of the game in the Slumbering Weald
masuda and turner wanted the game to be an apology for colonizing india so they made the story shite and the champion a paki
Anon that was the postgame sideplot of Sordward and Shielbert. Play the game.
Except that a flanderized rendition and they were descendents, not the actual royal family, which seems to be not in existence. I wanted the royal family to be the main villain and have actual nefarious intentions past vague notions of wanting to rule the world. Swordbert and Shieldbert are basically just an evil group of twins with entitlement, the royal stuff is just flavoring
Isn't that sorta like Team Plasma?
Yep, but they could execute it even better this time
>i still think the sports theme for Galar was the most boring angle they couldve taken it.
They could've made it so the Pokemon League in Galar was corrupt and rigged Leon's matches so he could remain on top and when your character was winning legitimately Rose used Team Yell's passion for the sport as a weapon to imply to them that you're the cheater. And when that doesn't work and he sees his work with Leon threatened he uses Eternatus out of desperation, damned the consequences of what happens with the Darkest Day.
That would've been cool too. I remember prerelease some anon was theorising that to be the case. But SwShs story was a huge weak point compared to SM before it and SV after it.
I honestly think the complete opposite. Whenever Britain is portrayed in media, it's always about stuff like castles and royals and dragons. SwSh going for a more modern approach when it came to Britain made it way more interesting/unique and has it actually stand out compared to all the other stories set in Britain which basically just boil down to medieval stuff and magic.
They did that in black and white
They also did an evil villain that wants to take over the world in Kanto but that didn't stop them reusing them in Johto, then the same concept in Hoenn and Sinnoh. Then again but worse in Kalos.
>5/10 girl.
She's a 3/10 at best
>Not simping for Marnie
They're not simping it's more just supporting
Not everyone is a disgusting team yell grunt
so go play dawn of war
They weren't trying to frick Wooloo of set fire to stuff when Marnie loses so it isn't a real interpretation.
If anything, the main problem was that they barely simped for Marnie (though it’s mainly because Marnie is a nothing character that barely appears) Most of the time they were just simping for some random Pokemon. We could’ve had a battle with Marnie once the gym challenge starts, where they go complete apeshit the moment we beat their idol. And afterwards they sabotage our gym trials, booo and throw stuff at our Pokemon during gym battles, ambush us on routes, send hate mail, etc but noooooo
>Team Yell are literal incomprehensible morons
>Just like actual football hooligans
I kneel, Ohmori-san
>Team Skull on steroids
They have been trying and failing to imitate them since release, same with Hau. SM really mindbroke GF and the fanbase trying to reach the peak again.
Everything about SwShit is so half baked
They're her cheerleaders because they want to frick her.
>Coomer brainrot
