The OP data has a cutoff starts from "(PC data is from Eliminator and above. PS5 data is from Dominator and above.)" so it's flawed, but it's still better than the other one, far better in fact

If you're a new player you'll benefit a lot just from playing as you get to grips with the character. Most people in lower ranks don't know what their character does so they end up spending most of the match looking at them instead of their opponent, which makes it very difficult to win.
not exactly new but I was a turbo shitter in 7 also stuck at yellow in that, in 8 it seems that the winning strategy is to just kill the other guy before they kill you. I was spending too much time trying to figure out how to deal with a character's move, when is it my turn, how to punish that they just pressure me to death with 50/50s. turns out the answer is to just poke and hopkick my way to victory.
