One Piece worldbuilding is shit, it's literally gimmick island followed by gimmick island with generic global organisations in every blob.
The islands have fully fleshed out details on their inner workings and function outside of the main cast, it's a living breathing world not centered around the protagonist instead. Foreshadowing to events, locations, people are all over and the payoff is always excellent. Add on to that Oda's creativity which makes every other series look like bland boring garbage, One Piece just ruins fiction in general.
