That’s like bragging about making a better burger than McDonald’s. I mean good for you, but the bar’s not exactly super high, no?
Nope it's still pretty high
>Brandon Sanderson
He's excellent at it, and I do like how minor details stay consistent and act as foreshadowing without feeling too cheesy, but I find he can't really do "mysteries that are best left unsolved" very well in his own series.
Which is bizarre considering he did it in someone else's series via Hinderstap.
If he means old blizz I might give it to him, and sanderson is alright, but supergiant and dnd? lol
This is an incredibly low effort thread and you should slit your writs for making it
In fairness, supergiant is pretty good at worldbuilding. Not goat contenders but not a bad pick if you don't have encyclopedic knowledge of all worldbuilding endeavors
What the frick is your problem? Why wish death on someone over a fricking online thread
WoW's worldbuilding is usually good, so long as they don't try to explain any cosmic-level stuff. It's the writers' ability to actually use that worldbuilding that causes problems.
posting screenshots of tweets should be a bannable offence
Only thing he is right about is Brandon Sanderson, but /tg/ is contrarians so they will hate him because he is popular
I just don't like how the magic in mistborn is so structured and organized. I like my magic to be poorly understood and mysterious
Yes. The consistency and integrity of a setting specifically designed to support a certain theme and type of adventure will always be superior to the consistency and integrity of a setting that insists on having multiple concepts and characters that in many cases are fundamentally incompatible still coexist because Jim Shooter was constantly high on that 70s and 80s cocaine.
Even if in your campaign the first superhero was the peepeepoopoo man and all superheroes derive power from his peepee while all villains derive power from his poopoo it would still be better than the Marvel and DC kitchen sink.
>tfw the world building for my superhero campgain is better then DC or Marvel's
How do you figure that?
But what if you where born with poopoo powers and try to be the best person you could be? Are you doomed to failure? Deep lore indeed.
Put up or shut up, lets hear about your world.
That's because you've probably got 4 PCs of roughly equal power to balance around, not fricking reverse flash vs speedy.
>That's because you've probably got 4 PCs of roughly equal power to balance around
In DC adventures it is perfectly possible to have an adventure a party composed of Batman and Superman, but the Batman player will only be useful if the GM goes out of his way to suck his dick
Because he's Batman, as opposed to a superhero
I love Batman when he's just a guy in a costume who could die from a single bullet, but won't because he's autistically skilled. He's at his worst when they make him a member of the Justice League and send him off to space to punch aliens.
I will choose to believe you because I want there to be as many happy fa/tg/uys who have good gaming lives as possible.
Thanks man. You seem like a good dude. Wish you the best
Awesome man glad to hear it. I'm a bit stalled for ideas for my golden age superhero world atm so just reading old golden age comics for ideas and plots. Also finding a bunch of forgotten comic charactors I can build off for my world.
whats some of the details of your world and its setup?
Congratulations, you managed to clear a par so high above your head it is no longer visible.k8wkj2
