Phantom Hourglass is pretty neat. Its really brings out the DS features.
Its like a lesser Link's Awakening.
And its not like the game demands you to do complex inputs for the touch screen to be a real issue.
>solid overworld design >great music >'toon' artstyle worked better in 2D than 3D >Great dungeons >For once in Zelda's life, dungeon items had a decent purpose in the overworld >Kinstone mechanic can be skipped if you hate it outside of the Swamp and Clouds where it's no worse than finding keys scattered around like any other Zelda
What's so bad about Minish Cap again?
Only negatives I could really state >It's not a very long game >kinstones are a method of progression for hearts and items and it can absolutely be a grind for the more common ones bizarrely >Low shell limit for how frequently you can find them together in late game (leading to pace breaking)
Otherwise, it was great. Music, presentation, the npcs in town moving with each dungeon, the Sword brothers stuff and kinstone overwolrs rewards
Unironically its mostly Eiji Aonuma's fault. The guy is practically best friends with Miyamoto and seems to have some weird kind of Vendetta against Sakurai and Koizumi.

>Minish Cap
>"Dark age of Zelda"
Shit taste from OP, Minish Cap is not that awful.
it's still pretty bad, it was all GBA gays had received
It's still a better game than Flopward Butterknife.
no we got link to the past as well
And the NES Classic series, with LoZ and AoL, the best games.
>we got reheated up leftovers
lol

How to show you never played more than a few Zelda games

lol only 2 are good, rest are boring. the theming of each one is fine i guess
Those were both decent games. The shitty parts were, surprise, traversing the overworld.
FRICK sailing and FRICK trains.
Yeah wtf? From the thumbnail I just assumed it was Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, why is Minish Cap there?
Dunno, probably just OP seething that they couldn't get past the wind area Kinstone fusing stuff.
>shitty part was what you will be doing the most of
yikes
Still better than Age of Calamity
Minish Cap is peak 2D Zelda and top 3 in the series.
Iwata ruined everything.
Unironically its mostly Eiji Aonuma's fault. The guy is practically best friends with Miyamoto and seems to have some weird kind of Vendetta against Sakurai and Koizumi.
>remembers DS zelda
>pukes
Thanks OP for that
>touch screen only
what the frick was Nintendo thinking?
They learned the word GIMIKU
minish cap is better than half the console games you tasteless Black person
the only bad part about it was how kinstones were implemented
Why did Nintendo make 20 zelda games with the wind waker link as the mascot?
Sold well in Japan and also with kids so suited handhelds
I enjoyed both
>he stopped saying era
Once I played Seasons I sort of looked on Minish Cap with less appreciation
Phantom Hourgalss was unironically better than both WW and Tears of Tikotok.
Twilight Princess happened between these. Also, those 2 games are genuinely better than either Wind Waker or Four Swords Adventures.
