Does Razor flick his toothpick at the opponent in this? I always loved that

it's a fun arcade game but it's far from the best wrestling game. there is barely any wrestling in it.

      no, missed opportunity for sure

Is there a shader that actually fricking interlaces for 120hz monitors? I hate the shitty ones that just space things.

I have a couple I use. I was just wondering if someone made a shader that made use of 120hz to simulate flicker and such. I guess they are all still really shitty glorfied overlays then.

black frame insertion is what you want, and it's a feature in retroarch

Lex is still alive but he's basically a broken shell of a body. The only way you could be worse would have been like what Dynamite Kid was like before he died.

I WISH we could have gotten more of these. I'd love an Attitude Era and a WCW version.

It's a shitty Mortal Kombat clone with a tiny roster and none of the wrestling match types you'd want to play (like tag team, royal rumble, cage matches, etc.). I guess it's great if you weren't a fan of wrestling and just wanted to play Mortal Kombat but the wrestling fans I knew at the time all stuck the the LJN games.

moron contrarian opinion. No mercy is everything wrestlemania 2000 was but better and with more features. There is literally zero reason to prefer it over no mercy.

why do braindead homosexuals always scream CONTRARIAN when they see an opinion they don't understand? Why not ask him why he prefers it instead of being a whiny little b***h?

what makes this better than No Mercy? No Mercy came out 10 months later so they had more time for refinement.

No Mercy. Better story, better modes, better reward system, better CAW, and it had a ladder match which was chaos with two or more players. Also Attitude Era WWF is the best

Scott Hall really hung in there for a while thanks to finally sobering up. He was an absolute dimes machine back in the day but was too unreliable backstage to ever be given the championship, shame realy

Great game... Against a friend. Otherwise, it's the typical Midway quarter-muncher. Many home ports also didn't touch the "difficulty", so it's the same cheapness.

I have no idea how it even happened considering how many assets were already recycled from Smackdown 1, which had 36 wrestlers. Must have been a hell of a deadline.

It was a Sega produced arcade game first and the number of wrestlers is ok for an arcade game. A better question is why didn't Sega repurpose their superior Giant Gram engine which already ran on Naomi instead of outsourcing the game to Yuke's.

I love whenever Yuke's just had blatantly Japanese looking UI in their games. Just Bring It was a lot like it too. Fricking Hell WrestleMania X8 on GameCube had the most Japanese music as well now that I remember haha
