It's pretty good, the difficulty is all over the place though. They reduced the enemy numbers in the normal playthrough so it's a cakewalk now but boosted booses' health in the ng+ so you have to almost perfectly dance around even those that were just spectacle fights in ng. Ordinary enemies' AI is a bit dumber now so you won't be opening doors only to immediately get sprayed by crossbowmen anymore.
https://www.gamesindustry.biz/ci-games-hits-record-fiscal-revenue-in-2023 >CI Games has generated over $60 million in consolidated net revenue for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2023. >CI Games attributed 83% of its sales revenue to Lords of the Fallen, launched October 13, 2023.
https://www.gamesindustry.biz/ci-games-lays-off-10-of-staff >Last year, the company revealed that 2023's Lords of the Fallen was its most expensive project to date with total costs of PLN 281 million ($66.2 million).
I think I'm gonna delete this and Alan Woke. And Callisto Protocol too. I need to keep track of that Indian company that was outsourced to work on all these games.
It was decent, definitely better than the previous one, hope they continue improving. Can't believe fricking City Interactive is making decent games these days.
We need 5-7/10 AA games.
Different studio, so it makes even less sense. I kinda get the idea, remakes SHOULD be for games that have a lot of room for improvement. But I dont think the new LotF is a remake per se, just a reboot
Don't you mean Lords Of The Fallen tm 2014? For some reason the 2014 part shows only in the store, but if you have it in your library its just lords of the fallen
I actually didn't mind this game. It had issues, but wasn't bad.
Because soulsborne fans are some kind of cancer, they are physically incapable of liking any souls-like game, if it isn't perfect absolutely perfect (and it shouldn't be more than 5 bucks for them too). And even when when a game is good, they'll just tell you that the devs copied fromsoft.
There are cool soulslikes out there that bring something new to the table but this is just a souless clone ripoff which does everything worse than the source material and that's not ok.
This game lets you quickstep when locked and use deflect without becoming a parryslop, the movesets are more diverse too. So no, it actually does things better than other soulsclones.
It was pretty good, definitely better than the original which honestly deserves to be damnatio memoriae'd in favor of this one
Might try it again whenever that randomizer update comes out
Death of the Fallen will be good
if they go open world I'm gonna be so fricking pissed
I wanted it to be good, but like every other soulslike it felt too floaty
Is is still bad even after the dozens of updates?

I enjoyed it more than Lies of P. Is there honestly a Dark Souls clone with as much effort put into it?
>a game that shares a name with the most dogshit 2/10 game is actually bad too
yeah who would've thunkit
I would have liked it if they didn't frick up the multiplayer
>fromgame without the frombonus
What were they thinking?
it didn't work the first time either. no idea why they tried the same thing again.
Not even going to play devil's advocate; I liked LotF2023 a lot. Simple as.
>all 3 endings shit in your mouth for even daring to play the game
Amazing
Yeah it's a souls clone, why did you expect happy endings
With the worst final boss I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

Reminder that Gankertroons literally lost.

>what is net revenue
lmao are all tranime posters this fricking brain dead?
i happen to have elevated tastes and play good dark souls style games like nioh 2
I think I'm gonna delete this and Alan Woke. And Callisto Protocol too. I need to keep track of that Indian company that was outsourced to work on all these games.
that it did, and honestly, it's kinda cool now
It was decent, definitely better than the previous one, hope they continue improving. Can't believe fricking City Interactive is making decent games these days.

So, they remade their own game from ten years ago, with the same name? What's going on in this industry?
Different studio, so it makes even less sense. I kinda get the idea, remakes SHOULD be for games that have a lot of room for improvement. But I dont think the new LotF is a remake per se, just a reboot
They remade Enclave? When?
Not too long ago.
There was also a Blade of Darkness remaster that no one told me about.
I knew about the Blade of Darkness one, still haven't played it. There's also going to be a Gothic remake soon apparently.
It was good ye
I'VE FALLEN
AND I CAN'T GET UP
Is that Lords of the Fallen, or Lords of the Fallen (the sequel to Lords of the Fallen)?
It's Lords of the Fallen.
Lords of the Fallen, the 'successor' to the Lords of the Fallen™.
Don't you mean Lords Of The Fallen tm 2014? For some reason the 2014 part shows only in the store, but if you have it in your library its just lords of the fallen
And it was a great game. Strange how everyone decided to nitpick every little problem it has and pile on it.

It just released.
>official randomizer
Based but I will not play the game
Worst game of last year, hell probably one of the worst games I've forced myself to finish in the last five years.
i unironically liked it. too bad the launch performance issues impacted it's first impression on most people. miles better than the original LotF
Did they reduce the insane travel distance your basic attacks have?
