Finish your book Grrm
I did this recently. But literally when they died the players immediately said 'Yeah no way, all these people fakes their deaths except maybe two'. And they were correct and it was revealed 1-2 sessions later.
This is impossible to occur in my group because half of my players are psychos who intentionally make sure the bodies are dead whenever they get them to 0 hp.
>Be OP
>Be moron
>Play moronic-ass game where there's at least 4 different spells for reviving the dead
>Only cost is literally money/diamond dust
>Be somehow surprised when dead characters come back
DnDumbasses, every time.
*SIGH*
>be moron
>moronicly moron into thread
>assume every game is DND
>be a moron
Obsessed morons, every time.
Never reply to that troll. Let's all just pray his fat fingers rot off so he can't type anymore and he has to give up his shitposting crusade.
>Doesn't mention a system
>"N-n-no! I'm not playing DnD!"
Sure thing, OP. Sure thing.
I would assume the system is One Ring
OP said "DM" which is a D&D specific term.
is a cum slurping homosexual of the highest order, and deserves a live time range ban, but in this specific situation the OP did mention D&D directly.
>autist gets upset that no one took his bait so he posts it twice
kek. Also, you're a moronic newbie. DM has been used for hundreds of games.
>Gats called out for being a moron
>Cries samegay and newbie at the same time
>Can't read IP Counter, doesn't have the proper plugins
>Acts like a smug c**t
You don't belong here. You will never belong here.
>gets called out for being a moron
Doesn't mean much when the people doing it are brain-dead morons desperately trying to cope. Just like you.
>descending into buzzwords and shitposting because someone gave you an accurate criticism
lol
OP said DM you paste-munching homosexual. Learn to read before you embarrass yourself again.
>seething this hard about accurate criticisms
lol
>player dies
>dm so deep into his plot integrating a new pc would be troublesome
>just willy nilly resurrection or "the wound that brought you to -100 was not that bad"
>continues to happen
The ride never ends
I don't see why this is an issue so long as it's not overused. Sometimes it's fun to have that "You thought I was dead? Ha!" reveal.
Does he ask for all his gear back that the PCs looted from his corpse?
>Player character dies and has their next character being haunted and actively possessed by the ghost of their former character
It was worth the table getting upset at me for ruling that character's death as irreversible
People with unfinished work don't get to have an opinion on the work of those who have. Finish your fricking book Marty.
>be player
>NPC goes off screen to do a suicide mission
>assume they die
>find them later
>make a onions face in excitement
I hope my GM is happy at my simplicity.
FYI, I hate Dungeons and Dragons.
we get it, you hate women and minorities
It's good to know I'm among friends
There are people here that don't?
I don't hate anybody. Not even myself.
I had a GM who did this constantly, no action actually had permanent consequences in his games, turbo-moronic.
I wish that would fricking happen. So far my brother, my mother figure and one of my best friends in my current campaign have all fricking died. Two because of random crits and one failing a disintegrate saving throw. Frankly it's getting really Goddamn hard playing the team's plucky youth when I might as well be a personification of death to everyone i care for at this point. I see why so many players just choose to be orphans
>when the DM only references the characters backstories when the BBEG insults their dead family members
My cyberpunk campaign makes the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan look like Disneyworld
>that moment when the DM reveals that a traumatized doctor is trying to raise an NPC that was killed off a few sessions ago and they completely botch their attempts to convince him to stand down
I had no intention of actually bringing him back either I just thought it was a funny plan that was destined to fail
Suppositions are often wrong, next time be certain. Are you really sure it's the same npc?
