Thanks for clearing that up OP. I'd always heard that his death was some yakuza hit put out by nintnedo. But now it's clear that after an embarrassing failure at trying to knock of decade old chinkshit brink games he did the honorable thing and an hiroed.

He literally died in an accident, you schizos keep trying to put a narrative where there is none.

Don't get out of your car while on a highway and you won't get hit.

Yokoi was Shiggy’s mentor and the one who taught him everything. Despite this almost everything this man was involved with got buried by Shiggy himself, of all people. I wonder, will Tanabe try to bury all of Miyamoto’s stuff too?

It sucks that these gems never got released in the West. Also it's weird that barely anyone at retro games community talked about it except BeforeMario:

I read about these in Pix'n'Love's book about Nintendo before 1980. Shit man, that book's english translation sucks dick. It's bad enough that I'd consider fixing it unpaid, granted I don't know French but at least I could edit the text to be less obviously ESL.

I prefer shitty English over American localizations. Even at old Japanese games interviews, Americans often lie on purpose to push their agendas like the "Samus is transgender" crap. Only a few fan translators actually do their job right.
