90s was 4th, 5th, and beginning of 6th console generations, and yes 5th gen is the best console generation as it was the last generation before normalgays became the majority.
I miss those >90s peak of technology >some modern era shiny graphic game of the time like Crysis >current year game >MS-DOS screenshot
funny troll images that used to float around like a decade ago.
>comparing a shit movie where you can't even do what you are told to do because you fail the mission >and one of the worst games ever
shitposters should be banned
From 1985 through to 2005 you had constantly evolving technology and constantly evolving video games. Everything was always new and exciting.
Zoomers, like OP, are mad as frick because they never got to experience that magical time where you were constantly excited for new and amazing things. Instead, they get to """experience""" near-zero technological advancements and nearly all games just get worse and worse, with nearly every developer hating their players and only seeing them as dollar signs.
>zoomers only experienced the peak of gaming and technological advancements instead of being glorified alpha/beta testers >and that's a bad thing!
I'm sorry you became old and lost your passion for gaming it became good anon
>I'm sorry you became old and lost your passion for gaming it became good anon
I never lost any passion. I still play 10-12 hours of video games every day and I am loving the indie scene, and I am really excited for the amount of cool AA games we're likely going to get soon due to AI being able to assist indie studios.
Having said that, the overall video games experience was definitely better back in the day. This is an undeniable fact.
>zoomers only experienced the peak of gaming and technological advancements
I think this is really the worst part - not that there are people who believe that Fortnite is the peak of gaming (although that's pretty bad in itself) - but the realization that there is such a thing as a "peak of gaming", and that there is a very real possibility that gaming will only get worse.
Yes: Doom, Half-Life, Quake, Starcraft, Command & Conquer, Homeworld, Super Mario World, Unreal Tournament, Duke Nukem 3D, Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries, System Shock 2, Metal Gear Solid, Fallout, Diablo, Thief The Dark Project, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Total Annihilation, and more. I'm sorry that you played a horrible game like Superman 64, but that doesn't negate the reality of tons of awesome games during that decade.
Funny how RDR2 has worse gameplay 30 year old games >Auto aim gun to the head >Mash X to traverse the game >Clunky, unresponsive controls because it's le realistic for protagonist to move as if he's constantly stuck on a mud
Wrong. Here are some modern games with motion capture that does the opposite >Horizon games(0 aim assist even on PS, Aloy is fluid and responsive as frick, too fluid in fact) >RPG AssCreed games(bow has unnecessary amounts of aim assist but you move the stick and character moves) >Insomniac Spider Man games, press a button and shit happens
etc. many of the modern games does it right, only wienerstar does it wrong
Nah. Rockstar intentionally did this because they chase "MUH REALISM" over actual gameplay, so they add shit like momentum, excessive animations, tedious actions, etc. It has nothing to do with motion capture.
What was the point of this shit thread?
To show that Redditstar kneels to Superchad 64.
You gotta be a real bugman to play Rockstar slop.
>"zoomers missed out on the golden age of gaming"
Something something fortnite to fortnite in 5 years
I don't think anyone is pushing Fifth Gen as the best gen aside from some genres like JPRG.

superman 64 is soulful trash
Super man 64 was the most hated game back then

Superman 64 has better gameplay than RDR
top = boring horse riding simulator
bottom = actual game
>The Ram Ranch - The Videogame fan FEARS the superior alpha Superman 64 chad
To defend, boring casual garbage and make it look good by comparing it to infamously bad garbage.
>having to compare your favorite game to superman 64 to make it look decent
lol
OP destroyed himself and his point in his own first post

you're not even trying
its all relative lil zoomie. Some day gta 10 will absolutely mog your ancient reddit redemption 2 and it will make you upset
reddit redemption is firmly millenialgay. us zoomers only play online games like fortnite or cod or ow.

this is in every modern game that uses motion capture.
Wrong. Here are some modern games with motion capture that does the opposite

Superman 64 is universally hated trash but it still has more actual gameplay than rockstar trash
>Bad game comes out
>"Uhh it's not bad, it's not for you!"
>Bad game comes out (90's)
>"It's bad."
I don't know what game that is on the top but anyone can recognize Superman 64
Zero games in the 1990s exuded THIS bullshit, though.
