Aaron is actually mentioned to have previously been a gym leader in Sinnoh who grew strong enough to be promoted to the Elite 4. I have no clue why I still retain this info.

GameFreak fully understands that its audience WILL go to online documentation on attributes they should not be able to normally see, but they're also too lazy to put them ingame despite how useful that would be, even if you had to make it a post-credits unlock in case you wanted to "preserve" the original integrity of not fully understanding your Pokemon outside of stat totals and how often a stat goes up every level.
