I'm definitely not going to make friends there but I still can't believe there are people out there who think that Pearl/Diamond/Platinum's graphics were and visually stunning when Black and White are still being called "worst attempt at 3D" til this very day. Cynthia is NOT a well written character, she's barely present in the game ( Platinum's attempts at fixing this was not successful sadly, she became a walking pokepedia page..) without the anime/manga I would hardly call her a character, Same goes for Cyrus and the whole of team Galaxy who's pretty much a knock off Roket Team without the privilege of being first. And I know this point has probably been repeated over and over again but good grief that game is slow. I first discovered gen4 with Platinum and I already thought the fights were ridiculous, I couldn't believe it was actually faster than Diamond but OMG who supervised that and thought that was okay, may I have a personal meeting with that person? Shout-out to the surfing and certain capacity's animation they almost had me going insane , thanks to gen5 for recycling some of them and making them go quicker. I think 4gen definitely isn't the worst pokemon generation out there (especially when sword/shield and Scarlet/Violet exist) but it just has just too much defaults for me to even enjoy the games anymore, I only like the pokedex but it's not revolutionary either, 4 fire types really? And you're going to make an elites member based on fire types?? I understand for a lot of pokéfan this is a very nostalgic game, maybe even your first ever pokemon game but gen5 and gen6 just did it all better in my opinion. Thanks for coming to my Ted-talk
