one of the BEST and WORST twin stick shooters ever.
the movement and upgrade system and material system and loot system and vendor system and transmog system and story and plot and writing are all extremely bad.
everything else is extremely good
also probably one of the best looking games to ever exist.
the level of detail and visual fidelity is like actual magic.
the game is meant to be played from top down, look how great it looks in first person, its fricking insane.
>its fricking insane.
Hand made environments designed to a performance standard by actual humans that know what they're doing.
Few people realize just how much of modern AAA games are AI generated. They just take 8k photos of stuff, run it through a texture generator. Same thing with the actors. They just scan faces and generate the models, textures, even the animations now. Cut corners everywhere they can and that's the reality of why western character design is so ugly and why the games run so poorly with little to no visual gain in fidelity. AAA games are basically shovelware made by AI and pajeets that get paid $13 an hour to drag and drop codeblocks with a build kit made for X engine. All the real money goes into celebrities and marketing.
The gameplay was fairly fun and the campaign was ok, but the world itself was on a different level from any other game I've seen before.
I felt like it needed a bigger game to make the most of it, like a big CRPG along the lines of BG3.
Genuinely enjoyed the aesthetic and the shooting was satisfying. Plot was hokum and just ended out of nowhere but it wasn't really the type of game you play for the story. Boss fights were almost exclusively dogshit. Started to feel a little like a slog at the end of my time with it but I was going for the platinum trophy so that's probably on me. 7/10
tried to play it with 3 friends. the setting and gameplay are really strong making it a pretty fun and satisfying arpg. we stopped playing after 20 hours or so even though we wanted to keep playing just because the game was so buggy. we would constantly have to restart the game, remake the multi-player session, and have to re-do fights and cutscenes because shit would just bug out and Soft lock us.
I don't think at all. I am simply there.
couldn't even play it with friends, some kidn of connection error
Solid 6/10, buggy as all frick and not particularly interesting in terms of gameplay but guns have decent feedback and it looks really nice.
was okay but quit after an hour
I'm honestly shocked how good it is and how I never heard of it until now
I doubt I'll ever play a better twin stick shooter. currently finishing my new game plus run and might do another.
Absolute fricking KINO
shallow, good looking twin stick shooter, solid 5 fricks out of 10 shits
It was alright, nice scenery

tried running it in 4k on a 7900 XTX the other day, and I nearly fricking drowned in all the graphics

boring as FRICK

neat GDC talk from one of the artists.
Thanks anon.
It looked neat but that's about it.

incredible environmental graphics
terribly slow start
got bored and dropped it early
someone post the webm of the club shootout
They spent all their budget on art.
And I'll be damned if it wasn't worth it. They could have sold this as a walking simulator and it would have still been worth some good money.
i think i would have enjoyed it more as a walking simulator actually.
With the crazy art, I feel like it could work as an fps and I recall they do have an option to turn the viewpoint to first person.
The first-person mod was great
Great if only for the seething twinsticktards in Steam reviews
>steam deck
he deserves nothing
>still plays 15 hours
c**t.

I looks great, but gameplay wasn't very enjoyable. And it's boring overall.
