When does the day come that you can't just dasli+phono or whatever other powercreep is available by that point the supposedly unbeatable level. Are we just trapped here waiting for that point, or will there ever be an end. Although I must admit if I had the time to grind the stones and get the free units the final level would have probably been really fun.
At this point, I think we should just give up and accept Dasli will be best girl until the end of this game's lifetime.

For the most part yeah but the game really opens up a bit more at this point.
You can do early SoL, some farming stages like Super Metal Hippoe and Proving Grounds, get some True Forms, try early Crazed Cats, the easy cyclones, EoC Zombies.
You can probably also start with early Aku stuff or try Hidden Forest of Gapra for Courier Cat.
ITF is probably a good idea until you hit some roadblock.
Dasli and Saki are both lv 60, and Kasa Jizo is lv 55, the rest are lv 50. Riceball Cat, Gato Amigo, Ramen Cat, Can Can Cat and Saki have full talents.
I think Iron Legion is the best Uber Banner in terms of design, the Ubers are all actually cats instead of Dragons or Warrior with a tiny cat faces draw on top of them and each one has a lot of personality put into it with all the cats piloting the machines and doing silly stuff, this is not to say I don't like the other Banners, they are pretty cool too, but Iron Legion is the most "The Battle Cats"-ish out of all of them.
Since there's allegedly a new Metal Slug game coming in 2023, I decided to figure out if there's a way to True Form the collab units, since that's the only way they'd be worth pulling at this point for anything other than Labyrinth fodder during a hypothetical collab return. And I mean aesthetically, since stat-wise it's piss easy - crank the chance of CCs to 100%, and since most of the units target Aliens, add either Warp Block or Barrier Break or something like that. Maybe another target trait. So let's go down the list as it exists on the wiki:

The big double rotor helicopter, could TF into Mark II, which is basically just a palette swap. Still, it's red instead of drab (and it can be also Red if it ever appears as an enemy). i feel both lucky yet unlucky at the same fricking time
I snagged lil' valk by chance and she has come in handy, but only in extremely specific circumstances. I only ever use her as a zombie rusher when paired up with another much slower z.kill unit like unit-01. She rushes, either gets a good hit/z.kill or forces a burrow which the slower unit will catch and z.kill (zombie roos are a good example). I missed lil' dark when she was stuck on my b-track with no switch and I havent seen her since.
I randomly got lil valk last year by pulling a couple of tickets. is it actually that good? I've seen people saying that it's op but it just feels like a weaker bahamut
Li'l valkyrie has a few pretty enticing traits. Good DPS, fast attack rate, fast attack animation, most importantly Z-killer and enough range to outrange most zombies(except cadaver bear, unfortunately).
Then top it all off with good cooldown, and lots of status immunities
In my opinion, however, that is all rendered moot by the fact that she's got the most severe clipping problem in the game.
No backswing animation + hilariously fast speed means that the moment the main threat suffers any knockback from damage or ability, li'l valk will rush right on top of it and get murdered. It's a serious problem, and makes her vastly underperform
good to know i'm not missing out on much by skipping best of the best, even if she's enticing just because of how rare the banner is.

I was referring to their rarity since they seem to show up only on annual new year banners so only one chance a year. Their standing range and hp seems to indicate they'd die pretty fast
Bros I finally got it. I got the S class resistance orb for Sodom. Now all she needs is dark catseyes before she'll become perfect. She will be the most frickable cat in all if battle cats
I'm very close to getting my first legend rare but I'm quite disappointed that I missed Emperor Cat and it's going to be ages before he shows up again.
Shes still a great fallback after all these years. Also helps that I've had her that long that shes something like +40 now. I specifically had to outrange the r.ost here and evidently she was key to winning this stage.
I want Savage Blow, Shield Piercer and idk Knockback Immunity as Ultra Talents on Balrog thx pornos in advance.

Meanwhile, my Mohawk Cat recently hit +90, so I can finally start farming NP passively. Of course, most of my other Normal Cats' +levels are in their 60s, so it'll just be a small trickle for now.
My Normal Cats are all still +25 on average.
I just absolutely hate doing BAKA especially since 400 Energy per ticket feels way too much.

Amazing, puts in work against every trait.
Most importantly, she's one of the very few (if only) ubers to have curse immunity and an ability targeting relics right of the bat. Not to mention she's an auto-slot in against almost every colossus gauntlet
What really makes her great though is her short cooldown, you will almost always get one after your first one dies.

Came out at just the right time too, got to spin from both the anniversary gacha and Ultra Souls, alongside getting my 10th Platinum Shard, meaning I got to roll Platinum twice thanks to the free P.Ticket.
Legend stages is where all the event, weekly, monthly and legend stages are at:
Event is just whatever is going on at the time, like right now we've got anniversary stages(which give good cat food rewards so you should do what you can)
Weekly and monthly stages include anything from grinding stages(where you can get exp or catfruit or cat tickets) to difficult stages you can beat to unlock important cat units(like crazed cats as well as cyclone/advent cats)
Legend stages are sets of more normal stages you tackle at your own pace. You can do them at any time but you will eventually wanna do them.
To see stage rewards, just hit the speech bubble and then hold over the REWARD AVAILABLE text.
Clearing legend stages give leadership+catfood so you wanna do them all anyway.
Stars indicate approximate difficulty, so keep a look at that.
Into the Future should be your next target, after getting all treasures in Empire of Cats of course.

I was wondering, so I decided to check which banner has spent the longest without a new Uber, and it turns out it's the Almighties, with Lucifer added in v11.1. While some banners got two new Ubers since then, that's just mean.
But it's also great for someone like me who likes coming up with shit, because there's so many pantheons to choose from when it comes to a new addition. Is there some deity in particular you'd like to see? Or should they go the easy route and just bring in Odin from the PC version?
I genuinely think that the Almighties are the ugliest banner in the game by far.
Aphrodite is the only one that looks good and even then the giant bow is pushing it.
I get that their whole gimmick is that they're overdesigned as shit but i wouldn't mind an actually good looking god for once.
Odin or Thor or something would be a good bet for the next, but probably not with the PC version design.
Bastet as an actual Cat God would be cool.
I dunno they look good to me aside from the lazy ass true forms which just throw in the apple and pixie. I especially like the giant decorated pillar on Poseidon. Hades I would like more if he were standalone without those extra parts floating behind him. Chronos is eh, but her wedding variant is one of the prettier units in the game
Doing chapter 2, when do I actually have to git gud? And when I do, how do I do so? Right now I feel like I'm mostly cruising through everything, only thing that gave me pause was the last level of chapter 1 and I can't beat zombies to save my life.
EOC are the warmup stages, the game ramps up at the end of EOC 3 and with ITFs chapters not just being rehashes of eachother but harder and with a different boss at the end.
as for zombies, just wait a bit until you have some decently leveled cats and zombie killers.
i ended up breezing through all EOC zombie outbreaks with gardener and piledriver, when i was doing them and just used the exp i got on other cats. i'm not ready to do ITF zombies but only because frick how long it takes for it to pick a level sometimes especially once you've gotten over half of them done.

As per usual, the Fish Cat variant stage is the most cancerous of the bunch.
Meanwhile I cleared Tiny Tail my first try. Now all that is left is the Titan and regular Cat stages (there was a lot to do on the 2nd) and I've had awoken all the Li'l units.

And done, first try. Four wave-immune meatshields (two of them Fate Rares), Crystal, Green Shell and Supercat for a good measure, the Legend Musashi guy and a Small Attack Up combo was all it took. That and time, by the time Jamiera went down the third Musashi was just a few steps away for getting to the stack.
Will there be some kinda "Li'l Festival" at the end of the month or will I need to wait until the 2nd to get the Basic Cat?
I once combined 10 epic seeds to 1 epic catfruit. Back when there are no TF that need the seed except the Heroes Wagon Uber. You'll get it sooner or later, Anon.

I had a streak of about three weeks when I could clear Merciless without a problem back when I first managed to do it, and then I just... stopped being able to. So I stopped running it until I'd get some gamechanger - either a new busted anti-black, or enough Catseyes to get all my units (especially Ubers) to lvl. 40, or clearing SoL so I could get the key units to lvl. 50. In the end, the gamechanger turned out to be Gold CPU.
i honestly just bruteforced it with
Double Eraser, Courier at 50, Cancan, Richest Cat(combo), Octopus and Balrog+Kai+Dasli+D'arkt.
Octopus wasnt even necessary since Berserkory died almost instantly thanks to strengthend Balrog and Courier.

Hi catbros new player here, just finished chapter 1. I picked this game up after remembering seeing it way back in the day. Rerolled for a bit and was able to get three Ubers with this account including a guaranteed one, but there's almost nothing online about objective tier lists and such especially when there's like 1000 different ubers. Are any of these good, broken, terrible or just meh? Will I have a hard time progressing?

Like the other guy said, track 7 to 10 draws and keep the website open in a tab on your phone. You cant really turn a normal into an uber with it, but you can swap a bad uber for a good uber or go from an unlucky streak to a luckier streak. Anon mentioned octocat but if a summer banner or all seasonal cats banner comes up look for sunny neneko. 100% crit will let you start grinding the cyborg face stage early which means more regular tickets and therefore more rare tickets. Also save your catamin Cs for that exact purpose, its two Cs to 2.5 cat tickets (and therefore 5Cs to a rare once you hit the midgame)

swordsman is a very niche but powerful anti-red glass cannon... or at least he was until courier came along and completely outclassed him
delinquent can freeze floatings in a pinch, which could be helpful on something like eoc 3 moon I guess. but personally I never found a lot of use for him since his recharge is so long
apart from barrier breaking, fencer is also a pretty decent generalist attacker in tf but gets held back by 1 kb and single target

You can also get one for clearing the fifth stage in the monthly gauntlets (I only got good enough to get that far three, maybe four months in, even later when it comes to Gauntlet II) and I believe some midgame missions. You collect 10 and you get a plat ticket.
Or you could buy one, but that's the whale way.

Dont buy platinum tickets, further along the the game you will be able to "farm" platinum shards to make a ticket (Its slow going, it doesn't rain platinum tickets). Platinums are most useful for the following: >picking up new unique units or powerful epicfest units (units w/blue eyes) >skipping a track switch (you'll understand how important this is later.)
Don't ever waste a platinum on a standard uber unless you are nearing completion and said uber is REALLY pissing you off. Track switch avoidance can be extremely useful - RARELY it may be worth sacrificing a platinum on a shitty uber to line you up for multiple powerful or rare ubers. If you are buying platinums you'll just end up chasing the dragon. This is a long haul game you will play for years. Take your time. Patience pays off. Welcome to the club.

Maneki Cat has terrible stats but a 1 Unit combo
Mr. Ninja Is like Paris Cat except it has a 30s cooldown and a fraction of the dps but still costs 900c and all it gets is 100 more range.
Coin is a 75c special meatshield, which are always good to hoard because there may be some 4 crown stages you may want to spam meatshields through, the rest are meh, still you get a rare ticket from getting all 3 so you should get them anyway.

Cs trade for cat tickets very favourably on facing danger, you can get 6 tickets a day for just 4 Cs. You'll get catseyes from the proving grounds anyway, tickets are much more valuable
It should work so that it increases your cat level by +2 up to +39, at which point it goes back to only increasing by one, powercreep has made normal cats very redundant outside of stages with specific limitations, at which point you are forced to farm tickets just to do these stages only to get pointless units like flying, axe or cow that are either too niche or are completely outclassed by li'ls or manics.
The only other alternative is adding more ways to farm cat tickets outside of events but I don't think PONOS wants to make gaining rare tickets easier.
Went to clear Japan for the Q2 thing. The last cleared team was still Cat/Tall/Axe/Gross and no one else. No wonder, monthly stages don't even target EoC1. Still, what a nostalgia trip.

You'd expect the game to tell you which unit a stage has from the start (outside of never before seen ones to keep the surprise) but instead I have to keep the wiki open every time I play this game or I just waste energy.

I only got him in endgame where surge immune enemies become more common + high mags mean that the surges don't really do much (and surge counter), but I'd imagine that he'd be really good in early-mid game, especially because enemies don't have surge immune yet.
Grab him anyway, it's only two tickets and brainwasheds are a pain to collect.
He's got the cheap (kinda)stackable surge attacker niche on lockdown, no one else really does that aside from ubers
As to how effective that niche is, I'd say it's pretty decent now that peons are starting to become the real threats
But again, brainwashed cats suck to unlock so get him anyway
one of the best brainwasheds, you can throw him in most lineups and have him perform reasonably well since he's really cheap for how powerful he is. just don't bring him on stages with lots of surge immunes or counter surge enemies
I've seen people save their tickets until after they beat CotC3 so they can blow rhem all on Capsule+ and get more Superfelines that way. Other than that, pull 10 so you can save time by not having to watch the spin animation all the time.
Damn li'l titan was annoying, 2 miss signs spawned before he died, there just aren't any good special or rare DPS units outside of talented dancer which I don't have, I also had to waste a bunch of XP on Musashi and Rich+Sniper is pretty much obligatory.
Finally started leveling my zombie killer ubers like Sarukani, Halloween Vars, Poseidon and NNN Under to 45. Feels good running an entire party that won't leave the zombies to resurrect later, erasers aside

Should I use this guy in his regular or evolved form? I really like how spammable he is in his regular form and I find it kinda difficult to build up the funds to summon his big form.
I use his big form 99% of the time.
That busted damage at that range is just hard to beat.
Small version is only good when you have little cash or just don't need the absurd power of the big one
depends on whether he needs the range or wave/surge immune to survive, if either one will do then I think the unevolved form might actually be better for raw damage if you spam him

If the site says I can get a particular uber by pulling on 1A does that mean I get the uber by pulling all 3 of the step up beginning from that row, or is it referring to 1A as the uber I would get for pulling on the 3rd step up?
you get the uber from 1A by doing all three parts of the step up starting from that row. so after you've spend a total of 2100 cf, you'll get the uber next to 1A.
I just remembered the Advent bosses missions, and it was a very nice reminder of how far I've come when I could defeat Clionel with my basic anti-Angel team with no items.
Doubt I can do it with seven Special Cats though.
You could do it with just Biobone + Ramen at 50 + Your favourite Anti-Angel Uber (i used Benkei).
Then just fill the rest with 75c Special Meatshields or whatever you want.
Could also use Catasaurus instead of the Uber for Mini-saurus.

I havent had much issues at all so far with behemoths, Courier carried most of the stages up to Gapra 16 and Desert 10.

Yes, Moon 3 is the "git gud" stage. Except "git gud" means "willingly grind your ass off."
I highly recommend using Treasure Radars on shitty stages. You can also speed clear them at the cost of 2 Cat CPUS.

I'm guessing you're talking about regular, vanilla Neneko, in which case you can easily ignore her for now. There's so many other Small Attack Up combos, and they use units that might actually be helpful. Swimmer meanwhile is a pretty decent rusher, especially TF'd and on Floating stages.
Really, a good time to get Neneko is when you're about to cleared Crazed Moneko so you can build a three-unit double combo that up both attack and crit chance.

Frick's sake, I tried to take on the first stage of Excavation 4 (the one where the Red Horse appears). On my third try I managed to beat it, only to be pushed all the way back by the fricking peons and Capy.

Is there a way to quickly see how much energy an entire SoL chgapter costs? I'm 2 and 3 crowning SoL but I only really do it when I have enough energy to full clear a chapter in 1 go but I don't want to sum the energy for each stage everytime.
Holy blast is at max level to finish PengZ after it revives, plus I used a rich cat, I use this line up to beat the stage and get the dark cateye not to grind for orbs
I'm pushing into late game (doron is my next get) and I have no idea how you guys had the patience to grind out the materials to max cannons. My main is maybe 22 at most, useful cannons between 15-18 and my shit cannons are between 7-12 and I am constantly out of materials. I have the suggested drop table but frick me its a slog, even more so now we have decos and foundations. Its fricking brutal.
Nah...I always get engies pretty freq from gamatoto and can always retire a silver conveniently when my last gold appears. Materials are still the worst to grind.

If you're doing Gachaless, the next unlockable unit is pretty good just for rounding out your team. Otherwise, not for a while. The single biggest unlock of SoL is that when you finish it, you can boost units to level 50 via Catseyes instead of just 40.

i ended up doing all of ITF before even touching SOL. though it does depend on if anon has enough anti aliens or not.
Ideally, one would start slowly going through SoL as soon as they unlock after EoC1. The big thing unlocked after Chapter 3 is Catfruit, so I'd start looking into building teams that'll clear those stages, so he can start getting the fruits to True Form his units and build stronger teams.
Also impprtant to keep in mind that, while clearing ItF, SoL and the other, orange Legend stages, that there's also a milestone for reaching Rank 1600, which unlocks Catseyes and later Gamatoto stages.
Yeah, the game has some decently robust width to its systems, offering many different approaches. Hell, you can even start doing Crazed stages depending on your unit lineup.
Cyclones and Advents are still out of the question, but even just Crazed Cat/Tank would be a big boon in ITF, SoL, and beyond.
Since there seems to be no actual up to date list of Catfruits i made one for the rarer ones.
So Epic Seeds/Stones, Elder Fruits/Seeds, Gold Fruit/Seeds and Aku Fruit/Seeds.
Surprisingly a lot of these are taken by seasonal units.

The number letter combo after it is the spot on the track you'll end up after pulling that unit via a Guaranteed/step-up.
And if you click the unit's name, it'll update your seed so that it's sitting at that position.
In effect, there isn't actually unique seeds, it's just one singular massive string of characters that eventually loops back on itself after a few million. A given spot also has a value for what unit it will spit out if transformed into a guaranteed and what unit it will upgrade to during a rate-up (if applicable).
I don't know if they still have it, but when doing an x11, they actually have a separate slot to indicate which unit you got guaranteed instead of the normal 11th unit. This helps them find where you are on the seed.
Might want to blow it on something with a guaranteed uber first.

If it makes it better, there's really only 3 true forms that are worth farming an elder catfruit early for (excluding Lasvoss), which are Slapsticks, Ururun and Mina.

Billion rng treasures is real ass to farm, and yes, you need them. Other stuff you mentioned however is not and by the time you are done with 1-3 empire of cats treasures you will be everything maxed from regular capsules. You don't need to rare capsule cats maxed to progress at all.
Fricking Mercury of all stages was giving me problems, the Zang Roo kept burrowing under my whole crew and destroying my base, it took me until the third try to get him.

This Grateful XP stage is nice, but I really hate that Angelic Le'Boin enemy, For Level MAX I just dropped Dasli+Phonoa+Gaia and just kept yelling "PLEASE DIE" at the screen.

I had Dasli+Phono+Lufalan+Shishilan + 4 Meatshields on CPU and still felt like i barely withstood the onslaught
seems kinda weird. she has decent HP with rapid attacks plus waves. too bad her DPS is kinda low before strengthen. also she has colossus slayer but doesn't have the range to keep her safe nor any resistances to debuffs. I dunno. I need to use her against max lvl barons before I make a final judgement.
Against baron gaunlets I dont see her performing well at all, only really outranges what, Exiel? And maybe megamooth.

I hate when I can't tell if I lost a metal stage because I have a wrong lineup or simply I didn't get lucky with the crits, also they really should improve hit marker visibility, it would make figuring out blindspots and such on some units much easier.
It's so cool seeing most strategies use Can Can, and it's even better the fact that it's the only gacha unit I don't have.
I can use Courier as a substitute most of the time, but I don't know if he's gonna hold up for much longer.
Cancan will feel like shit when you first start using it (when you get it that is) but once it hits 30+ its a beast. He pairs up really nicely with pizza cat, who might be an ok substitute in the meantime.

How many did we start with? Right now I've got 9: One for each of the Catfruit-colored enemies (so Floating, Red, Black, Alien and Angel), as well as Traitless, Zombie and Metal and a ninth one to mix and match. But to be fair, I bought most of them early on.

Aside from a generic one i got one for Aku/Behemoths/Metals/Zombies. One for XP farming and one extra.
The extra one is usually for teams that i planned but cant use right now (like advents) or for when i need something for restriction stages.

So in conclusion you only need to do Hippoe 2700 times for 1080000 Energy to get them to +90, assuming you get no doubles when you already have stuff at +90.
All just to use Cats that are 90% of the time outclassed by Manics or lils (and soon BW) and are only useful on Normal Restriction stages.

They shot themselves in the foot by making so leveling normal cats also gives you free rare tickets, unless they add a way for you to level up normal cats without gaining Rare Tickets like Li'l cats with lucky tickets, I doubt they'll ever make normal tickets easier to farm.
All they need to do is add NC to some event gachas like they did with Lizard on the summer net one.
But i don't think ponos sees Normal Cats even as a problem.
On the survey you could check "i feel like i never have enough of X", with Normal Tickets being the only thing missing.

Am I the only one who thinks that we're getting too many cats for the current way to browse them? Like for example, we've got 106 Special Cats. And I know, if you have all of them, chances are you won't be using any of them outside of like Bombercat and some legend ones.
But consider: if we'd put them into groups, it would be so much easier. Scroll up and down for the groups, then left/right to search that specific group. For Special ones we already have: >Purchasable >Login reward and misc. >Seasonal >Eggs >Collab >Li'l >Legends
And you could separate the other rarities the same way. Except Ubers, with 241 of them and an overwhelming majority of them gachas, it would be easier to just separate them by banners.

And the more I thought about what would be famous enough both here and in Japan, but also provide some diversity in tactics so that all the units aren't just the same thing reskinned, and I keep going back to the Lord of the Rings.

I ubercarried through it, but personally I found non-tf catellite better against puffer planet than kinjirou because the latter gets warped by star peng.

Is he even worth it? He was one of my first ubers but i've never been able to land a single hit with him that wasn't against a base.
I spent a day farming catfruit, evolved him then pretty much never touched him again. I tried to use him for his long range in one of the advents once but he didn't do much. The only other time I used him was in the recent Legend Quest which randomises your team
I love that guy, he works pretty good with cyberpunk and has a decent damage considering his humongous range, he misses a lot when you have the situation under control, but if you are struggling to knockback the enemies, he's most likely going to hit just fine.
his freeze+thunderbolt works amazingly well with nukers like a.bahamut or yukimura, since it gives them enough time to land at least two hits just fine. I use him pretty much 90% of the time.

Like I said I was exactly the same, I couldn't figure out why so many strats used him. I had him at lv50 or so (hes +19 now) before I talented him and I still couldn't get decent play. The talents make a big difference, I've only got crit, atk up(maxed), survive lv6 and float def c and he's saved my ass more times than I can count.
The game that the Girls and Monsters banner originated from seems to have only been active for a mere 6 months or so based on the launch date and EoS last i checked

Honestly, just looking at her kit, it's hard to put talents outside of immunities (full immunities, not those gay-ass "resistance" talents PONOS gives out) and wave/surge because her main selling point appears to be her DPS and not her KB ability.

Where does the adfitional 1% come from, exactly? Uber/Epic Fests get the higher rate by turning designated Super Rare segments that are colored pink in the tracker (as well as legend rare spots) into Uber Rare ones, where do the additional 1-in-100 Ubers pop up?
If you hit the "Details" checkbox, then the seed website will spit out what the seeds of each cell, the last four digits in the top seed being used to determine rarity. In a uber/epic fest banner, with 65 / 26 / 9% chances, cells with last digits ranging from 0000 to 6499 will be rare, 6500 to 9099 will be super rare, and 9100+ will be an uber rare. The pink cells mark the cells between 9100 and 9499, the range in which the cell won't house an uber in a normal banner, but will under fest banners. The cells ranged from 9000 to 9099 are marked as yellow, but still has an uber inside on Superfest only.
Pic related is my seed on a Superfest banner last year. The circled cell is the space that will get turned into an uber by Superfest only. This idea carries over whenever the banner that doubles the legend rare chances rolls around; some red cells will end up turning into legend rares (happened to me once).

Yeah i always considered him the 3rd best of the set. You can't really compete with Yukimura or Keiji but hes definitely better than the rest.
I think his problem is mostly that he directly competes with Pizza + Bombercat.
Hes got more DPS than Pizza, but a higher cost and cooldown.
He has 100% Freeze like Bomber but less duration and not really stackable.
Make the Freeze like 3s in TF at minimum and he should be good
I see it more that his Freeze is a good initiator for tougher Black enemies to then start stacking Bombers on, since Bombers are very fragile and die easily with bad timing.

Knockback against the Cyclones is somewhat counterproductive, you'd rather want slow which is just as easily accessible since Sanzo is Rare, knockback really only helps against Zombie Cyclone and possibly Angel Cyclone but just because in early game all anti-angel units are garbage aside Rocker.
i've almost gotten all of the rares and super rares i have up to 30 and true form in the time it's been taking to hope for another guaranteed while stocking up 8000 catfood. granted spending my energy on mainly EXP/catfruit stages only outside of missions during the event helps with that.
What would be great is if they allowed us to use Catamins right there on the victory screen, when you tap the "return" icon in the upper right. Just add a pop-up warning that it requires it, with an option to use one or return to main menu. It would save a couple seconds and a couple taps, but it adds up when you're farming.

If you know your timings and are fighting close to base, you can hit Hermit with Glass Cat to slow him and then Meatshield + CanCan to kill the Doge.

Are Kappy, Empress and Emperor much harder than the other tier 1 Advents? I've done them all including the TFs stages except WanWan who I haven't beaten yet.
I honestly found Emperor + Empress to be some of the easiest, especially for the point when you unlock them.
Emperor has less health than even the relic horn on that stage and Empress is pitiful if you have a good shieldpiercer.

Most of the other ones are much more challenging. I still struggle with Hannya and Puffsley at times.
But yeah Kappy is the hardest for me.
Emma's tf is uhhhh, she still has 200 range and 10kbs so blocking waves is still not gonna happen.
tf for Emma only really gives her a new situational niche at applying weak to all traits+traitless. Her weaken proc is increased in tf but its still unreliable and outranging wild doge and most peons by like, a mere 50 range still means she'll take tons of damage before getting those weakens off
I don't know what they were thinking when they designed Emma as the wave buster representative. They just made an Uber version of Supercat which we only use because it's the only wave blocker in 4 crown

The first stage has a 50% chance for a drop, and it raises by 5% with each stage (until the last few where it's 4% because otherwise you'd only need 11 stages), and only the final one has a 100% guarantee.
Have you buffed his defense too? I just finished investing into his attack, strengthen and cost down and he's been pretty underwhelming. Forget the single target, a lot of enemies seem to just hit and knock him back before he can approach or even hit them once

Thats the thing. With 300k+ damage per hit it really only matters if you hit the enemy once. When i did Hannya earlier he managed to oneshot the second R.Ost that comes out (with the help of Iron Wall Cannon).
People call Lufalan the boss killer, but heres Balrog who can do 3x the damage per hit and has a cooldown of 30s.
Hes definitely not the easiest to use with the timings. And there are a lot of stages where he cant do more than kill the peons. But he can turn the battle around in an instant just by sniping something that would have just overrun you if it lived another 15 seconds.
Yeah i feel like Lasvoss is a more extreme version of Balrog.
It can't be spammed as much as Balrog thanks to 60s cooldown + high cost, but savage blow + strengthen is just amazing.
But hes really not all that reliable, with only 30% savage blow and strenghten not linked to knockback.
And if he doesn't have a clear shot to the boss he just wastes his attack on some peon and then dies instantly.

Like all Uberfest exclusives, Regular Kasli has the smol spammable form which can be useful under certain circumstances when it's not advisable to use the evolved form.
Normal Kasli has some really good pushing power thanks to Knockback on Surge, which the other 2 are lacking.
Her only fault is that she has no surge immune like Dasli, so its going to hurt if they continue putting Countersurge on everything.
I still think shes a lot better than Asukasli at least.
Triple Kasli is mostly a meme, but a meme with a lot of damage potential.
As someone who reached max level recently, it makes it so that you don't have to wait those two seconds in between donations because there's no more progress bar to animate.

Because his + levels have a different UR requirement than other Normal Cats, you have to get to UR 10k+ to start unlocking higher caps, you may as well forget that Superfeline exists for a while and turn him into NP.

For the most part yeah but the game really opens up a bit more at this point.
You can do early SoL, some farming stages like Super Metal Hippoe and Proving Grounds, get some True Forms, try early Crazed Cats, the easy cyclones, EoC Zombies.
You can probably also start with early Aku stuff or try Hidden Forest of Gapra for Courier Cat.
ITF is probably a good idea until you hit some roadblock.
Dasli helps a lot, even with the surge counter from Kappy Kawano

I think Iron Legion is the best Uber Banner in terms of design, the Ubers are all actually cats instead of Dragons or Warrior with a tiny cat faces draw on top of them and each one has a lot of personality put into it with all the cats piloting the machines and doing silly stuff, this is not to say I don't like the other Banners, they are pretty cool too, but Iron Legion is the most "The Battle Cats"-ish out of all of them.
I think you're right. Ultra souls would be good too if the lines were just a bit crisper but thats a problem with a lot of the older banners i think

Since there's allegedly a new Metal Slug game coming in 2023, I decided to figure out if there's a way to True Form the collab units, since that's the only way they'd be worth pulling at this point for anything other than Labyrinth fodder during a hypothetical collab return. And I mean aesthetically, since stat-wise it's piss easy - crank the chance of CCs to 100%, and since most of the units target Aliens, add either Warp Block or Barrier Break or something like that. Maybe another target trait. So let's go down the list as it exists on the wiki:

The big double rotor helicopter, could TF into Mark II, which is basically just a palette swap. Still, it's red instead of drab (and it can be also Red if it ever appears as an enemy). It also targets Floaters, so can't really add Warp Block/Barrier Break. But the unit in the game proper apparently can nullify projectiles, so maybe add chance to dodge?

In his Space Tank. There's a golden version that actually floats, so let's go with that.

That is correct behaviour. 14a did not count as the first "dupe" because you avoided it by rolling on platinum banner.

If I hadn't chosen to pull Muu I could have gotten her. Now she doesn't appear for another 200 or so rolls. Shit luck.
I snagged lil' valk by chance and she has come in handy, but only in extremely specific circumstances. I only ever use her as a zombie rusher when paired up with another much slower z.kill unit like unit-01. She rushes, either gets a good hit/z.kill or forces a burrow which the slower unit will catch and z.kill (zombie roos are a good example). I missed lil' dark when she was stuck on my b-track with no switch and I havent seen her since.
I randomly got lil valk last year by pulling a couple of tickets. is it actually that good? I've seen people saying that it's op but it just feels like a weaker bahamut
Li'l valkyrie has a few pretty enticing traits. Good DPS, fast attack rate, fast attack animation, most importantly Z-killer and enough range to outrange most zombies(except cadaver bear, unfortunately).
Then top it all off with good cooldown, and lots of status immunities
In my opinion, however, that is all rendered moot by the fact that she's got the most severe clipping problem in the game.
No backswing animation + hilariously fast speed means that the moment the main threat suffers any knockback from damage or ability, li'l valk will rush right on top of it and get murdered. It's a serious problem, and makes her vastly underperform
good to know i'm not missing out on much by skipping best of the best, even if she's enticing just because of how rare the banner is.

dark li'l valk suffers from the exact same problems unfortunately.

Amazing, puts in work against every trait.

How events even work on this game? I just unlocked bahamut but still have no idea what any this new stages mean or if they give a reward at all.
Legend stages is where all the event, weekly, monthly and legend stages are at:
Event is just whatever is going on at the time, like right now we've got anniversary stages(which give good cat food rewards so you should do what you can)
Weekly and monthly stages include anything from grinding stages(where you can get exp or catfruit or cat tickets) to difficult stages you can beat to unlock important cat units(like crazed cats as well as cyclone/advent cats)
Legend stages are sets of more normal stages you tackle at your own pace. You can do them at any time but you will eventually wanna do them.
To see stage rewards, just hit the speech bubble and then hold over the REWARD AVAILABLE text.
Clearing legend stages give leadership+catfood so you wanna do them all anyway.
Stars indicate approximate difficulty, so keep a look at that.
Into the Future should be your next target, after getting all treasures in Empire of Cats of course.
It's a lot to take in at once so dont worry too much about it lol.

I was wondering, so I decided to check which banner has spent the longest without a new Uber, and it turns out it's the Almighties, with Lucifer added in v11.1. While some banners got two new Ubers since then, that's just mean.
But it's also great for someone like me who likes coming up with shit, because there's so many pantheons to choose from when it comes to a new addition. Is there some deity in particular you'd like to see? Or should they go the easy route and just bring in Odin from the PC version?
I genuinely think that the Almighties are the ugliest banner in the game by far.
Aphrodite is the only one that looks good and even then the giant bow is pushing it.
I get that their whole gimmick is that they're overdesigned as shit but i wouldn't mind an actually good looking god for once.
Odin or Thor or something would be a good bet for the next, but probably not with the PC version design.
Bastet as an actual Cat God would be cool.

EOC are the warmup stages, the game ramps up at the end of EOC 3 and with ITFs chapters not just being rehashes of eachother but harder and with a different boss at the end.
as for zombies, just wait a bit until you have some decently leveled cats and zombie killers.
For zombies try grab wushu cat as soon as you can. He's your primary zombie meatshield. Build your team from there.
i ended up breezing through all EOC zombie outbreaks with gardener and piledriver, when i was doing them and just used the exp i got on other cats. i'm not ready to do ITF zombies but only because frick how long it takes for it to pick a level sometimes especially once you've gotten over half of them done.

As per usual, the Fish Cat variant stage is the most cancerous of the bunch.

And done, first try. Four wave-immune meatshields (two of them Fate Rares), Crystal, Green Shell and Supercat for a good measure, the Legend Musashi guy and a Small Attack Up combo was all it took. I had a streak of about three weeks when I could clear Merciless without a problem back when I first managed to do it, and then I just... stopped being able to. So I stopped running it until I'd get some gamechanger - either a new busted anti-black, or enough Catseyes to get all my units (especially Ubers) to lvl. 40, or clearing SoL so I could get the key units to lvl. 50. In the end, the gamechanger turned out to be Gold CPU.
It always comes down to wherever the Kurosawa feels like wiping out my stack a dozen times or not

Both should be fine, iirc track switch exists to prevent you from getting the same cat twice so as long as you prevent that from happening it should work, but if you want to be extra sure then 3A
alright did a simulated run. switched from dark heros to the platinum banner, used a platinum ticket at 3A, and stayed on the same track. gonna end up pulling papaluga (new) with a platnium ticket. sucks, but its an entry in my cat guide.

Hi catbros new player here, just finished chapter 1. I picked this game up after remembering seeing it way back in the day. Rerolled for a bit and was able to get three Ubers with this account including a guaranteed one, but there's almost nothing online about objective tier lists and such especially when there's like 1000 different ubers. Are any of these good, broken, terrible or just meh? Will I have a hard time progressing?

Like the other guy said, track 7 to 10 draws and keep the website open in a tab on your phone. You cant really turn a normal into an uber with it, but you can swap a bad uber for a good uber or go from an unlucky streak to a luckier streak. Anon mentioned octocat but if a summer banner or all seasonal cats banner comes up look for sunny neneko. 100% crit will let you start grinding the cyborg face stage early which means more regular tickets and therefore more rare tickets. Also save your catamin Cs for that exact purpose, its two Cs to 2.5 cat tickets (and therefore 5Cs to a rare once you hit the midgame)

Kalsi fricks and kenshin is my go-to anti-relic/black. If you're seed tracking try to pull a chronos from the almighties gacha and you'll be set
Keep that fencing cat in your back pocket and remember that its only job is to break starred alien shields. It's almost mandatory for two or three very specific stages much later in the game. If you are tracking your rolls, make sure you pick up SR octocat as soon as you are able. It also has a very specific role (wave shield), a unique ability that (iirc) only four units it the entire game possess.
swordsman is a very niche but powerful anti-red glass cannon... or at least he was until courier came along and completely outclassed him
delinquent can freeze floatings in a pinch, which could be helpful on something like eoc 3 moon I guess. but personally I never found a lot of use for him since his recharge is so long
apart from barrier breaking, fencer is also a pretty decent generalist attacker in tf but gets held back by 1 kb and single target

The seed doesn't reset, but it does move. If a new Uber is added to the pool, the position of ALL Ubers shifts. You can actually preview what it'd look like if more Ubers get added with the "Add future Ubers" setting on the right side.
The 2nd closest Plat ticket is Aku Realms, but you're a decently long way from beating that.

Dont buy platinum tickets, further along the the game you will be able to "farm" platinum shards to make a ticket (Its slow going, it doesn't rain platinum tickets). Platinums are most useful for the following:
>picking up new unique units or powerful epicfest units (units w/blue eyes)
>skipping a track switch (you'll understand how important this is later.)
Don't ever waste a platinum on a standard uber unless you are nearing completion and said uber is REALLY pissing you off. Track switch avoidance can be extremely useful - RARELY it may be worth sacrificing a platinum on a shitty uber to line you up for multiple powerful or rare ubers. If you are buying platinums you'll just end up chasing the dragon. This is a long haul game you will play for years. Take your time. Patience pays off. Welcome to the club.
It's also prudent to check an old Uberfest banner on the seed tracker to see when a regular Phono pops up (the order doesn't change unless a new unit is added). No reason to waste a Plat Ticket if you can get it through regular pulls soon enough.

For the new ie: Platinum Shards are items you can get from doing some 11-pulls (the ones that say they drop it), although since you need one for a unit at the tenth spot, I guess it won't do you any good. You can also get one for clearing the fifth stage in the monthly gauntlets (I only got good enough to get that far three, maybe four months in, even later when it comes to Gauntlet II) and I believe some midgame missions. You collect 10 and you get a plat ticket.
Or you could buy one, but that's the whale way.
IIRC you get a chance to buy a plat ticket if you finish EoC chapter 3 or something.

Coin is a 75c special meatshield, which are always good to hoard because there may be some 4 crown stages you may want to spam meatshields through, the rest are meh, still you get a rare ticket from getting all 3 so you should get them anyway.

Cs trade for cat tickets very favourably on facing danger, you can get 6 tickets a day for just 4 Cs. You'll get catseyes from the proving grounds anyway, tickets are much more valuable
Cat Capsule+ should also give double levels to normal cats, it's crazy how I am at Uncanny Legends without a single normal unit at level 50.

I love it when the wiki casually mentions 20+60 cats for things like AAC as if you have those by then.
It should work so that it increases your cat level by +2 up to +39, at which point it goes back to only increasing by one, powercreep has made normal cats very redundant outside of stages with specific limitations, at which point you are forced to farm tickets just to do these stages only to get pointless units like flying, axe or cow that are either too niche or are completely outclassed by li'ls or manics.
The only other alternative is adding more ways to farm cat tickets outside of events but I don't think PONOS wants to make gaining rare tickets easier.

I only got him in endgame where surge immune enemies become more common + high mags mean that the surges don't really do much (and surge counter), but I'd imagine that he'd be really good in early-mid game, especially because enemies don't have surge immune yet.
Grab him anyway, it's only two tickets and brainwasheds are a pain to collect.
He's got the cheap (kinda)stackable surge attacker niche on lockdown, no one else really does that aside from ubers
As to how effective that niche is, I'd say it's pretty decent now that peons are starting to become the real threats
But again, brainwashed cats suck to unlock so get him anyway
one of the best brainwasheds, you can throw him in most lineups and have him perform reasonably well since he's really cheap for how powerful he is. just don't bring him on stages with lots of surge immunes or counter surge enemies

I've seen people save their tickets until after they beat CotC3 so they can blow rhem all on Capsule+ and get more Superfelines that way. Other than that, pull 10 so you can save time by not having to watch the spin animation all the time.

I've got Chief but that cooldown is awful compared to Cadaver. I prefer to just use Housewife instead of the other two though on the mixed zombie stages
Should I use this guy in his regular or evolved form? I really like how spammable he is in his regular form and I find it kinda difficult to build up the funds to summon his big form.
Evolved has that nice 550 range which is hard to beat. Regular form kinda competes with Housewife in cost and range

If the site says I can get a particular uber by pulling on 1A does that mean I get the uber by pulling all 3 of the step up beginning from that row, or is it referring to 1A as the uber I would get for pulling on the 3rd step up?
you get the uber from 1A by doing all three parts of the step up starting from that row. so after you've spend a total of 2100 cf, you'll get the uber next to 1A.

I just remembered the Advent bosses missions, and it was a very nice reminder of how far I've come when I could defeat Clionel with my basic anti-Angel team with no items.
Doubt I can do it with seven Special Cats though.
You could do it with just Biobone + Ramen at 50 + Your favourite Anti-Angel Uber (i used Benkei).
Then just fill the rest with 75c Special Meatshields or whatever you want.
Could also use Catasaurus instead of the Uber for Mini-saurus.

I'm guessing you're talking about regular, vanilla Neneko, in which case you can easily ignore her for now. There's so many other Small Attack Up combos, and they use units that might actually be helpful. Swimmer meanwhile is a pretty decent rusher, especially TF'd and on Floating stages.
Really, a good time to get Neneko is when you're about to cleared Crazed Moneko so you can build a three-unit double combo that up both attack and crit chance.

My main is maybe 22 at most, useful cannons between 15-18 and my shit cannons are between 7-12 and I am constantly out of materials. I have the suggested drop table but frick me its a slog, even more so now we have decos and foundations. Its fricking brutal.

If you're doing Gachaless, the next unlockable unit is pretty good just for rounding out your team. Otherwise, not for a while. The single biggest unlock of SoL is that when you finish it, you can boost units to level 50 via Catseyes instead of just 40.

The next step in progression is actually the first 23 Story of Legends chapter, but feel free to chew on Into the Future too, they can be jumped back and forth as desired.
i ended up doing all of ITF before even touching SOL. though it does depend on if anon has enough anti aliens or not.
Ideally, one would start slowly going through SoL as soon as they unlock after EoC1. The big thing unlocked after Chapter 3 is Catfruit, so I'd start looking into building teams that'll clear those stages, so he can start getting the fruits to True Form his units and build stronger teams.
Also impprtant to keep in mind that, while clearing ItF, SoL and the other, orange Legend stages, that there's also a milestone for reaching Rank 1600, which unlocks Catseyes and later Gamatoto stages.
Yeah, the game has some decently robust width to its systems, offering many different approaches. Hell, you can even start doing Crazed stages depending on your unit lineup.
Cyclones and Advents are still out of the question, but even just Crazed Cat/Tank would be a big boon in ITF, SoL, and beyond.
I really want an Aku Realms Chapter 2, Jagando Jr is still missing a true form.

The number letter combo after it is the spot on the track you'll end up after pulling that unit via a Guaranteed/step-up.
And if you click the unit's name, it'll update your seed so that it's sitting at that position.
In effect, there isn't actually unique seeds, it's just one singular massive string of characters that eventually loops back on itself after a few million. A given spot also has a value for what unit it will spit out if transformed into a guaranteed and what unit it will upgrade to during a rate-up (if applicable).
I don't know if they still have it, but when doing an x11, they actually have a separate slot to indicate which unit you got guaranteed instead of the normal 11th unit. This helps them find where you are on the seed.
Now
is usually right, but on Monday PONOS will give out another half-off discount. That means that instead of wasting the half-off discount, you can get 22 pulls for 1500 CF instead of 2250 CF by pulling now instead of later, even if the banner is not great.

he moves slower, doesn't have a blindspot, and has more standing range than courier, which means he tends to live longer. plus he still eats angel/black doges and gories alive. it's definitely worth the investment if you have the exp
Courier is strong, but Courier also has a blind spot which can occasionally be really annoying versus enemies that knock your frontline back.
Jizo.. doesn't have that issue.
So just use both for a healthy pair of midrangers while your backline Ubers clean up.

Billion rng treasures is real ass to farm, and yes, you need them. Other stuff you mentioned however is not and by the time you are done with 1-3 empire of cats treasures you will be everything maxed from regular capsules. You don't need to rare capsule cats maxed to progress at all.
I would have killed for gold cat cpu during my treasure grind. New players have it too easy these days.

seems kinda weird. she has decent HP with rapid attacks plus waves. too bad her DPS is kinda low before strengthen. also she has colossus slayer but doesn't have the range to keep her safe nor any resistances to debuffs. I dunno. I need to use her against max lvl barons before I make a final judgement.
Against baron gaunlets I dont see her performing well at all, only really outranges what, Exiel? And maybe megamooth.
It's definitely only gonna factor as extra stats against colossal peons which seem to be becoming a thing now

Cancan will feel like shit when you first start using it (when you get it that is) but once it hits 30+ its a beast. He pairs up really nicely with pizza cat, who might be an ok substitute in the meantime.

How many did we start with? Right now I've got 9: One for each of the Catfruit-colored enemies (so Floating, Red, Black, Alien and Angel), as well as Traitless, Zombie and Metal and a ninth one to mix and match. But to be fair, I bought most of them early on.
I only got 7.
Aside from a generic one i got one for Aku/Behemoths/Metals/Zombies. One for XP farming and one extra.
The extra one is usually for teams that i planned but cant use right now (like advents) or for when i need something for restriction stages.

Thats 12000 Energy wasted on S.M.H. to get every normal cat +1.
So in conclusion you only need to do Hippoe 2700 times for 1080000 Energy to get them to +90, assuming you get no doubles when you already have stuff at +90.
All just to use Cats that are 90% of the time outclassed by Manics or lils (and soon BW) and are only useful on Normal Restriction stages.

They shot themselves in the foot by making so leveling normal cats also gives you free rare tickets, unless they add a way for you to level up normal cats without gaining Rare Tickets like Li'l cats with lucky tickets, I doubt they'll ever make normal tickets easier to farm.
All they need to do is add NC to some event gachas like they did with Lizard on the summer net one.
But i don't think ponos sees Normal Cats even as a problem.
On the survey you could check "i feel like i never have enough of X", with Normal Tickets being the only thing missing.
Finally getting back into Battle Cats instead of just logging for events to get free shit.

Am I the only one who thinks that we're getting too many cats for the current way to browse them? Like for example, we've got 106 Special Cats. And I know, if you have all of them, chances are you won't be using any of them outside of like Bombercat and some legend ones.
But consider: if we'd put them into groups, it would be so much easier. Scroll up and down for the groups, then left/right to search that specific group. For Special ones we already have:

And you could separate the other rarities the same way. Except Ubers, with 241 of them and an overwhelming majority of them gachas, it would be easier to just separate them by banners.

And the more I thought about what would be famous enough both here and in Japan, but also provide some diversity in tactics so that all the units aren't just the same thing reskinned, and I keep going back to the Lord of the Rings.

I ubercarried through it, but personally I found non-tf catellite better against puffer planet than kinjirou because the latter gets warped by star peng.

How in gods name does Cosmo justify needing 30+10 Catfruit to TF?
Is he even worth it? He was one of my first ubers but i've never been able to land a single hit with him that wasn't against a base.
I spent a day farming catfruit, evolved him then pretty much never touched him again. I tried to use him for his long range in one of the advents once but he didn't do much. The only other time I used him was in the recent Legend Quest which randomises your team
I love that guy, he works pretty good with cyberpunk and has a decent damage considering his humongous range, he misses a lot when you have the situation under control, but if you are struggling to knockback the enemies, he's most likely going to hit just fine.
his freeze+thunderbolt works amazingly well with nukers like a.bahamut or yukimura, since it gives them enough time to land at least two hits just fine. I use him pretty much 90% of the time.
Reika still doesnt have talents...

Well both of the GirlsMons that currently have talents have Target Relic, Curse Immunity, and a Resistance of some kind as well as the usual attack/defense up. So (just looking on paper), nothing really worth getting.
Honestly, just looking at her kit, it's hard to put talents outside of immunities (full immunities, not those gay-ass "resistance" talents PONOS gives out) and wave/surge because her main selling point appears to be her DPS and not her KB ability.

If you ask this I assume you are not seedtracking so the answer is yes, usually If you have rare tickets to waste, uberfest and epicfest are your best option, if you only have catfood then no, save it for guaranteed rolls.

Where does the adfitional 1% come from, exactly? Uber/Epic Fests get the higher rate by turning designated Super Rare segments that are colored pink in the tracker (as well as legend rare spots) into Uber Rare ones, where do the additional 1-in-100 Ubers pop up?
If you hit the "Details" checkbox, then the seed website will spit out what the seeds of each cell, the last four digits in the top seed being used to determine rarity. In a uber/epic fest banner, with 65 / 26 / 9% chances, cells with last digits ranging from 0000 to 6499 will be rare, 6500 to 9099 will be super rare, and 9100+ will be an uber rare. The pink cells mark the cells between 9100 and 9499, the range in which the cell won't house an uber in a normal banner, but will under fest banners. The cells ranged from 9000 to 9099 are marked as yellow, but still has an uber inside on Superfest only.
Pic related is my seed on a Superfest banner last year. The circled cell is the space that will get turned into an uber by Superfest only. This idea carries over whenever the banner that doubles the legend rare chances rolls around; some red cells will end up turning into legend rares (happened to me once).

Yeah i always considered him the 3rd best of the set. You can't really compete with Yukimura or Keiji but hes definitely better than the rest.
I think his problem is mostly that he directly competes with Pizza + Bombercat.
Hes got more DPS than Pizza, but a higher cost and cooldown.
He has 100% Freeze like Bomber but less duration and not really stackable.
Make the Freeze like 3s in TF at minimum and he should be good
I see it more that his Freeze is a good initiator for tougher Black enemies to then start stacking Bombers on, since Bombers are very fragile and die easily with bad timing.

Knockback against the Cyclones is somewhat counterproductive, you'd rather want slow which is just as easily accessible since Sanzo is Rare, knockback really only helps against Zombie Cyclone and possibly Angel Cyclone but just because in early game all anti-angel units are garbage aside Rocker.

i've almost gotten all of the rares and super rares i have up to 30 and true form in the time it's been taking to hope for another guaranteed while stocking up 8000 catfood. granted spending my energy on mainly EXP/catfruit stages only outside of missions during the event helps with that.

You can always use Catamins to speed it up. I went and cleared the Tower stage that drops one just so I have more.

What would be great is if they allowed us to use Catamins right there on the victory screen, when you tap the "return" icon in the upper right. Just add a pop-up warning that it requires it, with an option to use one or return to main menu. It would save a couple seconds and a couple taps, but it adds up when you're farming.

Wiki says +20. But Wiki also says the Bug Cats from the Summer event are +40, and yet the game wouldn't allow me to go further than +35

If you know your timings and are fighting close to base, you can hit Hermit with Glass Cat to slow him and then Meatshield + CanCan to kill the Doge.
Otherwise the usual Train/Fishman, Boulder helps too.
So which normal cats are fine yo be turned into NP? Right now I'm trashing all Cow/Flying/Axe and Superfeline once i get it to +9 but maybe Flying/Cow has a niche I'm not considering?

Are Kappy, Empress and Emperor much harder than the other tier 1 Advents? I've done them all including the TFs stages except WanWan who I haven't beaten yet.
I honestly found Emperor + Empress to be some of the easiest, especially for the point when you unlock them.
Emperor has less health than even the relic horn on that stage and Empress is pitiful if you have a good shieldpiercer.

Most of the other ones are much more challenging. I still struggle with Hannya and Puffsley at times.

Emma's tf is uhhhh, she still has 200 range and 10kbs so blocking waves is still not gonna happen.
tf for Emma only really gives her a new situational niche at applying weak to all traits+traitless. Her weaken proc is increased in tf but its still unreliable and outranging wild doge and most peons by like, a mere 50 range still means she'll take tons of damage before getting those weakens off

The first stage has a 50% chance for a drop, and it raises by 5% with each stage (until the last few where it's 4% because otherwise you'd only need 11 stages), and only the final one has a 100% guarantee.

Have you buffed his defense too? I just finished investing into his attack, strengthen and cost down and he's been pretty underwhelming. Forget the single target, a lot of enemies seem to just hit and knock him back before he can approach or even hit them once

Thats the thing. With 300k+ damage per hit it really only matters if you hit the enemy once. When i did Hannya earlier he managed to oneshot the second R.Ost that comes out (with the help of Iron Wall Cannon).
People call Lufalan the boss killer, but heres Balrog who can do 3x the damage per hit and has a cooldown of 30s.
Hes definitely not the easiest to use with the timings. And there are a lot of stages where he cant do more than kill the peons. But he can turn the battle around in an instant just by sniping something that would have just overrun you if it lived another 15 seconds.
Lasvoss is pretty cool too with his potential 1.2m+ damage, pretty fun way to cheese Puffsley by oneshotting him everytime he shows up.
Yeah i feel like Lasvoss is a more extreme version of Balrog.
It can't be spammed as much as Balrog thanks to 60s cooldown + high cost, but savage blow + strengthen is just amazing.
But hes really not all that reliable, with only 30% savage blow and strenghten not linked to knockback.
And if he doesn't have a clear shot to the boss he just wastes his attack on some peon and then dies instantly.
That's the thing, he is unreliable but if it happens you pretty much win the stage, I finished all kappy stages by just using him.

Like all Uberfest exclusives, Regular Kasli has the smol spammable form which can be useful under certain circumstances when it's not advisable to use the evolved form.
Normal Kasli has some really good pushing power thanks to Knockback on Surge, which the other 2 are lacking.
Her only fault is that she has no surge immune like Dasli, so its going to hurt if they continue putting Countersurge on everything.
I still think shes a lot better than Asukasli at least.
Triple Kasli is mostly a meme, but a meme with a lot of damage potential.
Yeah I don't use Asukasli a lot but since she has 100% surge and freeze immunity she basically deletes Henry from any stage.

Hes arguably better than Phono since he is curse immune.
Hes also arguably better than Mitama, he has worse slow but much higher range and a good chunk more damage.

Yeah he is a bastard, luckily there's a lot of anti traitless units nowdays, Jagando Jr. Works exceptionally well, but they are all pretty late compared to Ost's first aopearance so he will be a pain in the ass for a while, maybe they should add an anti traitless SR gacha unit outside of the drill.

As for the Royalfest, the good news is I have Princess Cat at 37 steps away after I finish pulling on the Superfest, and I can get a Shoumetsu Toshi Uber and both non-Ubers on my way there. I'm missing about ten rare tickets right now, so I guess I'll need to farm some silver ones.
Another problem is that, looking at last year, once the ShT collab is over (and last year it ended with a guaranteed banner, so here's hoping) we're going straight into Spoopy Banner, and it has two of the three Brainwashed Cats I'm missing. And after that, the Miku Collab will probably drop in December. I'm semi-seriously considering actually dropping money on this game.

Lolnope, only a single basic Li'l Cat dropped, went from +7 to +8. At least Tank Cat got up to +10, while Lion and Flying are already at +20.
I wish i could track normal and Lucky tickets so I could see exactly how far I am from getting them all to +60, all my li'ls except flying are at +40 or above so i should be close

Because his + levels have a different UR requirement than other Normal Cats, you have to get to UR 10k+ to start unlocking higher caps, you may as well forget that Superfeline exists for a while and turn him into NP.
