The music is perfect and incredibly ethereal
The side games are great and very enjoyable, also very setting-inducing
The cutscenes and story is very pumped and makes you feel the danger of Necrozma
The setting in general is amazing
The new mons are the best
Very deep lore wise too and the lore here dances perfectly with the gameplay

I never got around to finishing these. Are they worth getting done? It wasn't that I didn't enjoy them from what I remember, I just had other stuff going on and they got lost in the shuffle. The whole Rainbow Rocket thing sounds like a fun run.
I'm a sinnoh sucker but gen 7 is pretty far up there, along with gen 3
the dialogue can be annoying but in general I find the region and its challenges to be a step above typical pokemon games
The most linear and smallest region with no exploration is a step above? Discord really has no standards. They project onto people about nostalgia blindness yet they mindlessly praise the inferior games they grew up with.
Yeah there is, even route 1 has additional areas to explore with new items and pokemon
It just doesn't make it very obvious, most people who criticize the region probably just followed the rotom stickers or gave up
but, if you did explore it thoroughly and still don't like it, that's fine, because my opinion is the same 🙂
hoenn, sinnoh, and alola are my favourite regions
Says the moronic abomination that says "it is le bad:) y u cant like it:) *proceeds to spam recorded golem phrases definitely not heard and disproven before thousands of times*"
Just because your down syndrome brain cant process 3D and a map that doesnt make them linear. It has the least linear routes than any generation prior in fact
if you dont want dialogues play some baby shit that i cant even think about because i dont know if a VIDEOGAME without dialogues exists let alone a RPG at that lol
Pokemon doesnt need to be storyless because poketards are mentally handicapped and cant read
I'm playing it right now, the story isn't bad but it is told slowly and often intrusively
I still really like the gen, but this is its biggest flaw, even if it might not be a huge deal after all
It's good but far from masterpiece
If anything the title would belong to BW2 or HGSS
cierto
literally garbage
ultra shart and ultra mutt are bad bottom of the barrel scams of already bad games
>scams
how do?
How was ULTRA CHANGES not scam marketing?
It has more additions than Platinum and Emerald
I dunno, how was HGSS not a scam when it's worse than Crystal?
ror
rmao even
Can you name like at least 5 reasons why you think that?
nta but good graphics, content, character designs, difficulty, and pokedex selection
Thank you.
Non-chibi movement, episodic chapters, consumer bait, a good pokedex sitting above Kanto’s, and Hau’s battle intro is top tier quality
Are you trolling?

didnt know the french were footgays
Eagerly anticipating decomps + PC ports so these games can be made a bit less rigid, both plots can coexist and more post-game can be added.

I low key had fun playing through gen 7 the first time (hated gen 6 for reference) yeah play through them if you don't hate it

You didn't explore the region.
There is no exploration to be had.

Going “nuh-uh” isn’t an argument.
this isn't an argument? we aren't fighting

>an empty straight line is non-linear because you can sniff your own farts in a circle
You were 10 years old when SM released.
I was 16 when it released.
Yep. Your childhood was shit.

what are you talking about
If you play the game again, you’re not supposed to leave the house in a hurry and fight everybody!
I'm playing it right now, the story isn't bad but it is told slowly and often intrusively
I still really like the gen, but this is its biggest flaw, even if it might not be a huge deal after all
Lillie just won’t go away, huh? Or what are you talking about?
No no no, the story and the characters are paced really well if you skip all the garbage.
being illiterate or too handicapped to read isnt the game's fault. its yours
that was never the complaint, so I don't understand why it needs to be brought up
Did USUM fix the abyssmally short dungeons and routes?
