The combat in Baldur's Gate 3 is revolutionary.

The combat in Baldur's Gate 3 is revolutionary. I feel like a genius when I plan what attacks I'm going to do, and how the enemy reacts. It's like a better chess.

It's a lot of fun when you do it to the enemy too. One hand giveth, the other taketh, etc.

But in real life I just casually use the term homosexual so they know not to advance on me, why doesn't the game give that option?

Every fight is just spamming the same handful of actions

I'm convinced this is how some people actually play and then call the combat 'boring'.

It's pretty fun what you can come up with for sure.
I think people who bounce off the combat engage it like they would a JRPG (attack, attack, heal, repeat). If they would take their time to analyze the combat arena and really think through their options, they'd find it a lot more rewarding.

              they are very different
you can freely use spells without the gay ass camping every 5 minutes and there are no chances to hit a spell or attacks (in 99% of the cases). Also there are like 5 spells to move your character in dos 2 which is an equivalent of jumping the real difference is pushing and throwing but this is not an equal trade.
