Maybe Koshiro can convince the Bandai-Monolith overlords to make a new entry or a port, he always seems to revive interest in dead franchises he used to work on.

The SF characters changed quite drastically since SF4 where the latest Cross series took them from. I wonder if they still have crossover potential in them.
