not an argument btw
>i-is that a heckin challenging battle facility? >NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I NEED TO BTFO 3 PISS EASY MONOTYPE TEAMS TO GET TO CYNTHIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
why are borts like this. battle frontier is the only good post-game in the series.
>screencap of sharty-teir post made 5 minutes ago
Black person no one cares. sorry (see: not actually sorry) that your shitass bait post got no (YOU)s, but there's a reason for that. remove this thread and promptly get the rope.
tbh the gold symbols wouldn't be nearly as bad to get with the current 1000+ mon roster and vastly simplified mechanics around maxing out pokemon and getting them egg moves
I would really love a post game randomly generated dungeon crawling facility with items and shit kind of like what the battle pyramid was going for. I want a facility that manages to capture the exploration/gameplay loop with different visual themes themes/floor layouts/etc. instead of just endless battle gauntlets against random trainers in a battle tower.
It's probably too late, they think nobody plays the post game facilities anymore. Maybe in 30 years when all the old men at the company die and younger ones take their place we can get a good game.
>Battle Palace
Yeah, it's a war crime >Battle Pike
It's probably the easiest one, like I was able to get fairly far in it as a moronic 13 year old, what the frick are you talking about? >Battle Factory
I don't understand the "bug" you're talking about, the only one I've seen is an observation that your Battle Tower streak influences IVs for Battle Factory Pokemon for some reason. If you can dig through the Emerald source code and point out where the glitch happens, that might help a bit.
battle pike was the only one I got a gold in as a kid, I feel like clericmons being easier to make than ever would make it a legitimately fun facility now since you can circumvent a lot of the bullshit if you have a fat mon with heal bell
>It's probably the easiest one, like I was able to get fairly far in it as a moronic 13 year old, what the frick are you talking about?
I think that's the issue, actually. It's not really an expression of skill. You can and will beat it eventually, it's just an annoyance.
>someone hates the Battle Frontier >their team was Swampert/Latios/Metagross and they whine about RNG
Every single time.
This team is only good because it shits out damage but it can't deal with RNG at all, there's no support or recovery, Metagross and Swampert can tank but not heal which can be devastating in the Pike and Pyramid. Swampert and Metagross are also very slow. That's why people complain about RNG all the time. You fell for the meme that this team is the only way to clear the Frontier. Slaking's high power, bulk, and speed can bail you out of nearly everything in the Tower, Dome, and Arena. Blissey trivializes the Pike and Pyramid. Palace is poorly designed garbage I admit, but if your pokemon have set up like substitute and stat boosting moves and recovery the AI will usually make a good decision.
OHKO moves have low accuracy and the quick claw depends on RNG too, it's memed a lot but the chance of Walrein and Rhydon wiping a team is very low. If you are consistently losing to a pokemon in the Frontier it's time to do some reflection. Rhydon was a pokemon I was very worried about until I dropped Calm Mind on my Latios for Surf, while this made Anabel more dangerous because her Latios can boost I was now able to consistently get to higher streaks and I defeated her anyway.

ishydadt unless you're trying to maintain a 200+ streak
Indeed the biggest flaw with the Battle Frontier is not even the Frontier's fault really but the game having barely any teambuilding QoL, which makes its absence in ORAS much more frustrating. I don't think you NEED perfect IVs though, just get whatever natures and egg moves you need.
Once again, Battle Maison gays don't get that you need to include some element of team-building. Like, not even breeding for IVs or anything, just basic understanding of what a Pokemon team can consist of. People who played the type expert modes PWT understand this. All people who played Battle Maison understand are FEAR Aron, TrueAnt, and lie.
Can someone explain to me why these XYgote discorders always try to punch above their weight?
I mean, they're always trying to target objectively better games like gen 3, 4 and 5.
People trying to argue against that you can prep against the edge cases are missing the point that so much of the Frontier teams were just an exercise in increasing total playtime from players without actually giving more content. OHKO+Quick claw is the most deliberate middle finger you could ever design, and is by far not even the worse tactic some of the trainers have.
>not trying to win with your favorites and doing the Metagross, Latios, Swampert speedrun strat
Anyone that does this should book a sex change and a slot at GDQ, lmao

every time
PWTgays are always moronic
>It being extremely tedious to get optimized mons in Gen 3 without RPG manipulation is... LE GOOD!
just cheat
or just use a regular Swampert, Salamence, and Metagross
>cheat or limit yourself to three/four Pokemon
the peak of the series
tbh the gold symbols wouldn't be nearly as bad to get with the current 1000+ mon roster and vastly simplified mechanics around maxing out pokemon and getting them egg moves

Every time. Nobody who actually played it thinks it s good.

No. To many save states to counteract the sludge AI backtalking.
Let HGSS take a whack at it

would've been a good chance for ICLA to put platinum's facilities n their shitty remakes if they weren't pussies

damn bro if only there was some way you could avoid getting hit by 1HKO moves
I'm sure someone who isn't a campaignshitter PWTgay and is actually skilled at the game would know

Did FEAR Aron and TrueAnt touch you inappropriately or something?
Why do people shit on using legendaries, but then turn around and openly admit to using Latios to clear the BF?
Battle Frontier was always overrated dogshit. Glad it got retconned from the series.

>It's suboptimal to play any other way
Yes, this is true for literally anything in games.
Not a flaw, come up with something else instead.
>Yes, this is true for literally anything in games.
Except it doesn't since even the most "optimal" setups aren't the best in every situation.
Next.

I will never understand why legendaries can't be used in offline single player content.

What are the best teams for every facility?
Pure Power Slaking with Shell Bell
Wonder Guard Alakazam
Levitate Meatgroos
