You don't even really need a healer too since he can heal your whole team.
You can get two full team heal if you get it right with combo, he makes your tank a super tank, shield your whole team and aoe atk in unleashed mode, can debuff enemy.
Honestly he is one of the best support unit right now. I've been steamrolling throught chronicles story with him. He makes team survivability so good if you know how to use him.

When his sp is full you activate his ultimate and unlike the others characters his sp bar start to decrease until it reach 0. This is where he is in unleashed mode.
Basically he has a different move set when unleashed : he shield your whole team instead of the first unit in line, he does an aoe attack instead of a single target enemy and he will add a team heal effect like a healer if you use him during a combo.

You may not need healers but supports are still valuable.
Green Alpha gets the team attack up and speed up which gives you more team combos
Blue Gamma gives the whole team SP to burst multiple times in battle
Red Lambda gives you huge crits to do good bursts of damage and blind
Sherry's new SS+ gear gives her team shielding, attack up and speed up to humans. Shielding early on could save teammates in the middle or back that can get focused by enemies depending on the stage, and again speed is great.
Yellow is just fricked.
All I wanted to say is that you should still bring a support with Shadow because they bring more value than just healing.
Yes you are right. Bringing green shadow alone as support is still risky. I've been able to go throught chapter 19 since I got him but I'm now stuck on chapter 20 because I'm lacking of dps.
My experience might be biased too since I'm currently level 60ish so my tanks are getting beaten up fairly quick but since I've brought green shadow he was able to keep my team rather safe (getting 3 stars until now). I also have sf Eta which is great because she throws a bunch of debuff and status effect.
Even without sf Eta green shadow is still a saver.
I would say so far that green shadow"s biggest factor is keeping your tank alive since he can proc his ultimate early (assuming you have his weapon full upgraded) saving your tank which healers take too much time to do. But again I don't have enough units to test it all.
He also lack a bit of dps imo which can be hard if you bring him in others color team.
Yeah Green Shadow off element is mostly a support to shield the tank and keep the party alive, while Blue Shadow is a nuke to take down bosses and do high scores.
And yet here I am, at 0 gems after failing to get him.

Honestly the Bride Rose looks quite good even without activating her passive, she gets a huge 50% atk boost and a shield. Being able to remove shields might just be the Sherry counter in PvP but it requires testing. It's just a shame she's A1 bait once again to unlock her ability to remove buffs. I can't count the bosses that have this gimmick where they're only vulnerable for 10% of the battle because of some shitty buff that cuts all damage and she might be the answer to that.

I think she's best in pvp defense/offense. She is basically an anti-healer.
You ideally want her at A+2 where she will target two enemies instead of one with her magic blockage so the enemy healer will damage them when it heal.
Thing is that it's totally random which characters Elizabeth will target. She might be a good anti-green Sherry thought since with her new weapon she's so fast that she might help you kill her own teammates.
Also someone will correct me but I think magic blockage doesn't work against some healing effect like green Shadow insta heal when unleashed or the heal regen from yellow healer Beta.

I was able to do the red one because I had Nene, Kid Cid with SS+ weapon, and 2 tanks at ~85 to go with Gamma. And it still took a dozen tries to figure out exactly when to combo or use skills.

I made Cid's, he becomes a healing machine with it. It really helped me with harder content and keeping my team (particularly tank) alive.

The substats are amazing. I got evasion, speed and CRIT rate, I think it's the best combo. With evasion and speed I could probably retry a stage giving me trouble until I win. Evasion can make you bypass those enemies that target one unit and frick up your run, and speed will make you charge your ult faster to maybe save a run.

Depends who you are facing against but from my experience Green Shadow and SF delta are generally two of the top characters with how fast they can kill the opponent. Elizabeth is also a great anti healer.

people are probably abusing the reset target option to get weaker opponent then just use their best units. Be careful that resetting target cost gems.
Generally they just use green shadow because he can ohko once he trigger his hidden technique and then self heal at the same time. This gives a huge points in hp and time bonus score.

Nope. At rank 13 you can rise the damage threshold to 299,999. My SF Delta managed to hit 299,999 with her ultimate and a crit against the current event hard boss with NY Zeta + Green Aurora on the team.
There is also another character from my experience who can breach the damage threshold even being under the level requirement, it's red Aurora. Her ultimate damage is based on the total bleed on all enemies and if you have other characters who can inflict bleed like SF Claire and/or green Aurora you can deal some crazy damage.
You also want lambda to activate her ultimate so you can crit. For some reason red Aurora ultmate can bypass the threshold damage and was able to crit score around 230K against the christmas event boss even thought she was only rank 11.

My red team with swimsuit Beta and Epsilon is actually so strong together that they punch above their tier list rankings by themselves. Epsilon tank deals damage to every enemy that gets stunned, and Beta stuns enemies, so with Lambda boosting Epsilon, Epsilon does crazy damage numbers because of her effect of dealing damage even when other allies proc the stuns. Also, swimsuit Beta and Epsilon are sexy, which is most important.
I still have to play around with the options, but I may end up kicking my A5 OG Aurora off my red team for some types of battles
i also like Aurora that I gave her three rolls to see, got her weapon and meh whatever.

took me about 15 tries, it was just annoying because I do the same inputs for special attacks etc but it is all rng if sheri decides to heal or not. ended up using the 3 combo over and over prioritizing shield and healing, wave 2 was piss easy to build up a 5 combo to start wave 3 with defense boost to survive the first few big swings.
also im still using Nu in stead of wedding rose and i'm postive she is worthless too.

been 6 months since I'm farming for Beatrix every day, and I'm at 96

Bullshit, Victoria came out last month and I'm already 1/3 of the way done with her. Farmed and unlocked green Aurora. My Beatrix is almost 5* and I started during half anni.
And I only farm hard shards when there's no 2x normal drops events which happen like every month for a week.
I'm at like 70/135 with Victoria and didn't start farming on day 1.
