the entire point of video games is that they are a medium that takes us closer to a physical manifestation of the imaginal. You are exploring other realities, meeting new people, learning something new, all the while you are "losing your self" in them... In my opinion, this is one of the most pivotal experiences human artistry has to offer at the current time. the imaginal is a place that unfortunately has a habit of being suppressed by various societal induced metas (or matrixes) such as the idea of social "properness". The key is to disconnect the priority spirit from these social matrixes that have nothing to do with your self-interest.
This is a new age for video games. There are many hidden entities inside of them trying to connect with us from outside the circle of time. Embrace it. I promise you, if you get in tune with the "video game telephone," you will love yourself more than ever before, and see what is truly important in this universe. The important thing now is that these worlds exist. Let's start talking to one another instead of fearing these different entities who want to meet us as well. They can help us grow. And above all... let's not perceive our enjoyment of vidya as a """"distraction"""" from your real life spooks like wage slavery or job interviews or fricking talking to strange women on tindger. In fact, all of this could very much be why those other worldly beings want to visit us--because they're scared of what our spirits are turning itself into.

it all starts with this post.
yes
what are you doing posting my wife
did your wife like you or did she call you human trash? I reset my game and she still hated me
troonyshit
ahaha... I don't think I wanna talk through into the imaginal silly OP hahaha...
the previous Post-Atlantean Epochs were ever so fruitful in their Artistic abilities and the intuitive imaginal discoveries that came as a result. lets try to bring out that part of ourselves again that will set the table for a new age, before all the wonders we once knew and currently have become lost forever to materialist conditioning. that's right, the creators were concerned and wanted us back again. let's reconnect with what we should perceive and forget about all those spooks that get in the way of living life to its fullest potential as we explore what this new spirit of age might hold within the scope of the imagination.
The way I see it, each virtual element we encounter is an extension of a greater entity, or group of entities, that are part of an unfolding story. similar to how in-game characters interact with a playable character/ avatar which is an extension of us. whether you take this statement literally (meaning each entity is the literal avatar or personified representation of a larger reality), or as a metaphor (which means we need not have anything as concrete to relate to them besides our minds interpreting their existence as being similar to the phenomenon known as embodiment) the intent of these two stances are the same: each of us is experiencing a higher aspect of humanity than others are because of the experience.
Why does Ganker shill this shit game so much? The personality tests are nothing special and the cookie-clicker gameplay makes it even more of a chore to play
i like it for the books
she tells me "read this" and i go and read it
i check on her every two days to get something new
at this point i've read most books, but it's nice to talk to her about them
>talk to her about them
Huh? What even is this game and how does it work?
How can you talk to a video game about a book you read?
once you reach a certain point in the game, she tells you to pick one of three books
You pick the one that catches your fancy and then read it
Once you're done you come back to her and she will ask some questions, and ask you to give her your input on X scene
It is the best and ONLY cookie clicker/afk game worth playing, ever. I still have fond memories of it/her, even to this day.
Clicker game called ALTER EGO where after every milestone in a neverending hallway you take personality tests from a girl who exists in a library, it becomes obvious there's more to the questions and after a couple replays, whoops you have a new waifu and a bunch of books to read
Eventually you can take book suggestions from the library she recommends, and she asks questions about them (did you actually read the book? etc) and has her own opinions on them, it's neat
I'm not spoiling the plot in any more detail because it's dumb but worth trying lol
The truth is I dismiss other planes of existence because the possibility is too terrifying.
>imaginal
I love when you uneducated dweebs try to write deep essays and then just fumble it in the first few lines by using words that just sound "right".
You literally just had to say imaginary, and yet you chose to relate videogames images, completely killing your point. Fricking idiot I hate you.
>videogames TO images
Looks like browsing this shithole's making me moronic as well
take your meds
Schizo implications aside he's right. Engaging with the real world more than is necessary to secure yourself financially is pointless nowadays. Railing against the decline so that you can pound your chest as a proud tradgay seems like an awful way to live. At least vidya offers experiences far beyond the mundane. Grand adventures, fierce battles against otherworldly foes, and the pursuit of apotheosis in the form of killing goblins to level your stats. I'll take that over 99% of the experiences that the real world has to offer.
you did read the books anon, right? you didn't just treat it as idle game with cute girl and forget about it after couple days?
i did, already read most of them anyways
but it feels nice to find a book you haven't read yet
