One of my favorite episodes. The TRio really was a family that, yes, did fight and bicker, but absolutely loved one another and would stand by one another in the toughest times, and the same was true for their Pokemon, which were all very much a part of the extended family.
Have you watched the sub of this episode, OP? The dub is... okay, but the original is so much better in terms of music and the VAs.
I just can't see Koffing being the type of pokmeon to suffer from poaching. It seems like the type of pokemon that would be unwanted and treated as pest. I say this fan of all the three pollution Pokémon.
Criminals probably like them because: >Smokescreen >Poison gas >Explosions >Flamethrower
Koffin/Wheezing is a rather ideal pokemon for criminals.
Arbok less so but it is a reliable poison type that evolves early into something fairly strong by regular people standards.
Man they should have really let them compete in the Gym and Contest circuit. >James doing Gyms >Jessie doing contests >They coach each other in a clumsy way, studying as they go because Hoenn offers online courses and cheap education (Brock notices and aside from reporting them to the Gym leaders does nothing) >Watched over by Looker who is documenting everything they do before extending them a helping hand and recruiting them to the international popo after they prove useful and help him several times >They have practically sabotaged and fought every evil team since, should have just turned them into good guys with a stupid rivalry with Ash
I hated how they would give Jessie and James episodes like this to show they're more than just joke characters only to give us an unsatisfying conclusion to their arc. I'm always going to see The Legend of Thunder as the canon ending if they're not going to explore the characters further in any meaningful way.

Why did they do it again? It's been so long I don't remember
so they could take care of groups of their first evolutions that were being poached.
>poachers wants literal balls of poison gas
Are they israeli and need them for war crimes? I don't get it

One man's toxic waste exhausting, disease ridden parasite is another man's treasure.

wvery burglar npc you can fight in Johto has one, so I think you might be spot on with this one
Koffing is like durian, it's stinky but it tastes real good

Hmm I will try and find that part again.
Idk how it would make you feel now but as a kid that watched Pokemon religiously, it hit me in the feels hard.
Why didn’t they just shrink?
Team rocket was the best part of the show
nostalgiacucks deserve the rope
dilate

I don't remember Jesse and James being in that one?
