The only way anyone thinks this game is great is if their IQ is in double digits.

I have no idea what they were thinking making a highly detailed open world full of ghosts and it isn't a survival horror game

Giant boring nothingburger ass pice of shit, the gameplay is so terrible compared to TEW.

Yeah im sure the shitty story about "forgiving yourself" would appeal to an abo like you. Have fun with your non aging wife's daughter btw.

Im convinced they thought we would clap when they revealed that the cloaked figure was Seb's wife because it's le hecking subversive.

It doesnt. It's a great game and the whole Ruvik character is way better than anything in the 2nd game.
But then there are shitty horde survival moments where they just throw enemies at you with dogshit checkpoints.

Im convinced they thought we would clap when they revealed that the cloaked figure was Seb's wife because it's le hecking subversive.

It was just meant to be similar to Ruvik and the twist was that Ruvik has nothing to do with the game.
Looks like only literal brainlets hate TEW2.

I think Ruvik was shit as his powers didn't make sense. There's really no reason as to why he couldn't just kill Sebastien whenever he wanted to. Unless there's something in the dlc that gives a reason. I never played the assignment

It's a mix between him not having full control over STEM as other minds can also affect it and him seeing us as playthings and not a real threat early on.

Yes because the director obviously hates TEW 2. Why do you think the sequel is mostly a continuation of the shit he put in his awful DLC and not of the main game?

I haven't played the second, but the first has alot of problems. It was advertised as a Mikami making RE4 2 but its not like that at all, its a pretty bad game from most anglesz gameplay, story, level design

I found it pretty similiar RE4 but with some changes. You still mostly fight humanoids with different tools and on occasions monsters. You find resources in crates and so on. And what i liked the most about it was how it used it's jank to create tension and have the player think. But yeah the story is shit and the levels have very inconsistent quality.

Exactly. It's not just great, it's amazing, as known by anyone with 3 digit IQ.

Honestly, idk how anyone could act like the first one was better. The story was nonsense and not well conveyed, many beat it and didn't know what the hell happened, and not in a good way. And hell, Sebastien in the first game isn't even a character. The Sebastien you play as and the one you see in the journal entries are completely different. In the second game, he's a actual character with some personality. And the way his trauma gets dealt with in 2 is fricking perfect, the only issue is the Anima side missions not being mandatory. And speaking of that, the Anima side missions, specifically the first one you come across in the random house made EW2 one of my favorite horror games. And I love how she hums Clair de lune as she stalks you, it's kino. The first one isn't bad though, in fact I wish they kept the match mechanic since it was fun. But the second game improved on so many things it's just a flat out great sequel imo

Versus the nonsense that was the first games story and Sebastien not even being a character basically

Better to have an uninteresting story than some pretentious bullshit that makes you roll your eyes every time the characters talk.

The EW2 was kino and the boss gauntlet at the end was hype.

How the frick is 2's story KINO? It's full of plotholes and feels like it was written by Neil Druckmann's moronic inbred cousin.

EW1 couldn't decide what it wanted to be gameplay wise and EW2 had a lesser issue with this as it switched back and forth from open areas to linear hallways. Story in both is KINO.
