I think this is one of the first times ive seen a adaptations looks criticized not because theyre wildly unfaithful, but because theyre faithful to the "wrong" part of the series.

I hate it because it lacks the classic retrofuturistic 60s aesthetics, and everything looks cheaply made. I also hate it how the cinematography is almost identical to gaylo series. It would be better to have a house ending canon, since then NCR would have to lick their wounds back to California while suffering through dwindling resources, and the legion will eventually collapse when Caesar isn't treated and dies

This is the actual end of Fallout. Until now Bethesda's version of the IP has avoided the west coast, allowing what we know to be true Fallout to remain pristine. But after this, every new Fallout game will have to take the new "lore" of the TV show into account. The new "lore" that still shows the Brotherhood of Steel (because they are still a prominent faction in Bethesda's version of the IP) despite New Vegas showing that they are finished as a faction. The NCR probably won't even be mentioned.
It will be all marketable icons like ghouls, vaults, Brotherhood, and probably Enclave somewhere, according to Bethesda's Fallout themepark, rather than a genuine attempt to continue the series. RIP Fallout. It's been dead since New Vegas, but this is really the final nail in the coffin.

Yes and in almost every instance are shown to be the last of their kind. New Vegas depicts the Fallout world as moving on. The BoS and Enclave are no longer major players, they are ancient relics, and what is shown in New Vegas is vestiges of their power. Unlike in Bethesda games where they are still the main focus, because the Bethesda games exist in a timeless themepark vacuum where the worlds never change. How will the TV show handle the NCR and especially the Legion? I really, really doubt they will be mentioned at all.
