I get so triggered by fricking morons saying this looks like warcraft 3 in the slightest, yeah the game with 200 supply cap, scout towers, no creeps, and free expansions is definitely wacraft 3. Some sc2 Black person sees a single tree and says "Wow not really a fan of wc3..."
Yes it looks more like sc2+league and not wc3. Like they have some kind of hero units and creep camps (with buffs, no items!) but so what league has them too. And the game has that 0 turnrate crap.
Mechs vs demons huh? That's a weird faction choice. Why not use some magic based medieval humans who don't use technology, like those barbarians from Elex.
To their credit single player seems to be something of a priority (while in most contemporary RTS it's an afterthought if it's present at all), although I do agree the game would probably be better off - even as an e-sport - if it was designed just to be compelling and interesting to play, a state from which competition may emerge naturally.
