It's Super Mario Bros, anon. You can really only do so much with a simple yet memorable formula. I honest to god do not know what you were expecting from a series that isn't exactly known for drastic evolution.

I am. I just like these newer graphics over nsmb. They feel much smoother and blend in with the world norw than the 3D sprites that were used since the DS days. It looks much more natural.
