Nickelodeon's social media team have been making official sentence mixed promotional material. Instead of getting Roger Bumpass to redub the scene from Band Geeks, they just sentence mixed him to say "SUPER-bowl FIFTY-Eight" for a promo for the Nickelodeon simulcast of the game this year.
Sentence mixing is a cornerstone of ytp and apart of what makes it funny. No using ai to make them say the same tired old you will never be a woman copypasta is cringe and aids
That's what I'm hoping for. It would be a damn shame if Bowser finally having actual voice lines went to waste because there's no good place to use them.
I don't know if he did have actual voice lines. I think the note and the help desk are placeholder lines, just there to give the real actors, if and when they show up, an idea of the pacing of the script.
or the reverse, to give the animators an idea of the pacing. i don't know how this shit works i'm just spitballing.
The incredibly monotone help lines are absolutely placeholders, but the lines for the note sound far too much like someone putting on a Bowser voice for me to believe it's anything but.
the smoking gun that indicates it was gonna be a bowser voice is the laugh at the end, pretty obvious mario wouldn't read the laugh if it was always meant to be mario reading it aloud.
considering even if small there are some unused animations, maybe it's possible bowser had a slightly bigger role in the cutscenes where he had lines and more animation for him?
It sort of does, but anything good managed to make it onto other things, like Zombie Dinos from Planet Zeltoid. Everything else on it is shovelware that's fun to explore.

Not a game, but an interactive catalog where you look at bikes and accessories where you're given a phone number or address and instructions on how to order helmets and jackets. It's an objectively poor version of Tetris from a mechanical point of view, the UI is poorly organized, there's no hold function, you only get to see one piece ahead, the pieces are selected totally randomly and pieces lock into place as soon as they touch the floor so there's no sliding or T-spins. All it has going for it are the extremely cool visuals and the absolutely unmatched soundtrack.
I don't think it's deserving of the amount of praise it's getting but I want to point out that there's an L-slide in the longplay posted above at around 2:55. I'm not sure about the randomiser but the hold mechanic wasn't introduced until well after the CDi game came out, so at the very least it wasn't a step back at the time.

Beyond the novelty, do you think Bowser is going to start seeing much use in YTPs? He still has barely anything in terms of animation.
Maybe a couple, the extra Link VA lines we got when that pyramid puzzle game cutscene got leaked didn't get much use.
