He's 52, how long do you expect him to work in games? He's probably one of the only industry vets that hasn't turned into a pretentious butthole in his age. He still understands that video games are toys.
Love or hate Elder Scrolls. I can guarantee that Elder Scrolls after Todd is going to be grim
>>He's 52, how long do you expect him to work in games?
That depends on how well certain advancements in biomedical technology pan out. It's entirely possible ole' Toddy boy could be working on Elder Scrolls for the next 200 years.
This homie things science will INCREASE human lifespan. My guy, the people in charge have 8 billion feeders to deal with and will have 15 billion in 30 years. They're going to use technological advances to DECREASE your lifespan.

https://www.freethink.com/futurology/artificial-wombs-ectogenesis >To demonstrate the Biobag, the researchers removed lamb fetuses from their mothers’ wombs at what would be the equivalent of 23-24 weeks in a human pregnancy — most human babies born at 24 weeks or earlier don’t survive, and those that do have a high chance of life-long health problems.
>The animals continued developing for up to four weeks inside the Biobags, getting bigger, growing wool, and opening their eyes.
We're getting closer every day.
And I feel like to be schizophrenic about this I'd have to be scared of it.
>will have 15 billion in 30 years.
Population is already peaked in 90% of the world. The only places with positive birth rates are a few nations in Africa (less than 10). There will not be 8 billion people in 30 years, let alone 15.
Not how it works, on the long run high fertility will replace low fertility and population will rise everywhere, especially in religious places like MENA

Fertility is down 50% from 1980.

No. There was a pretty major statistical study recently that showed that even in religious/traditionally conservative societies their birth rates decline with sufficient modernization and technological/industrial progress. Even in some African states it was shown that this is the case.
Technocapital does not care about your race, your religion or how cucked you are with traditionalism or progressivism. It trends towards the optimal regardless.
That may be the case right now, but on the long run low fertility will be selected out, this is 100% implied by evolution

Yeah, and he would have a better idea than you, how far the next tes is and how much longer he wants to work on games. He could be 62 before we see tes 6.
I'm already plenty entertained by replaying the five previous games Bethesda released. Add Starfield and the next TES and I'm set for life.
I wonder if we'll ever get any other developer who can compete with Bethesda's games.
It made sense to ask him this after the F76 and starfield reveal because a TES6 teaser was also in there, but it's an inane question to ask now because TES6 is barely in pre production so he can't possibly know how long it will take.
Skyrim was the last Elder Scrolls, it's been 12 years and still 0 progress. We should be playing Elder Scrolls 7 right now and theorizing about Elder Scrolls 8
Just the verifiable truths. Everyone but Todd behind Morrowind is gone and now almost everyone behind Skyrim is gone. It's the Bloodlines 2 problem, you can't continue a franchise's legacy with blue haired californians who demand troony flags at the studio.
morrowind oblivion and skyrim suffer from the same problem of downloading. in earlier games it took 2 in-game days to go between cities. in recent titles it takes a matter of in-game hours. cardio training has massively improved in addition to larger strides being evolved or the sea has risen resulting in smaller provinces
>still no biohacking to increase the lifespan of people that deserve it >meanwhile, israelites guzzle up adrenochrome like latkes
Frick this gay judaised world.
>could retire and basically live the rest of his life in indefinite leisue and comfort >doesn't
Is there any other explanation than him having some degree of actual passion and devotion to the things he creates? Todd doesn't strike me as one of those CEO types who lives to generate meaningless amounts of money and nothing but.
I used to think this was the case, but if you dig into some deep lore (TM) and behind the scenes shit you'll find that at least up to Skyrim, he was heavily involved in high level design.
Fun fact, he legitimately wanted Radiant quests and AI to work, there are some documents he sketched during the literal initial design of Skyrim that show that he truly thought that they would be capable at the time of making it feel alive.
this homie is 52 and he's acting like it's his elderly scrolls

Easily solved by simple sterilization and gate-guarding birth through artificial wombs only.
Oh, and guess what they just invented.

Frankly I'm all for it.

Its already shit.
Didn't say it wasnt. You have autism
>going to be grim
>going to be
>it's already shit
>didn't say it wasn't
uh huh
Do you know what words mean at all
do you?
you're an insane bully
And it can be worse. With Todd even a bad game has soul.
Wouldn't know, I stopped caring after I played skyrim for a couple dozen hours. I'll stick with Morrowind and Tamriel Rebuilt mods.
he could easily retire right now if he wanted to
Yeah, and he would have a better idea than you, how far the next tes is and how much longer he wants to work on games. He could be 62 before we see tes 6.
>Elder Scrolls VII will be written entirely by AI and no Todd involved
it will finally be good
Don't worry, Todd will upload himself
>being a fAIggot
kys
Just imagine, people will still be playing Elder Scrolls 6 in 2040 vanilla
>Elder Scrolls 6 in 2040
why are you so certain it will be released by then?

I always hate this interview question
>Now that X is about to come out when will we see Y?
Give the guy a fricking break

I blame fallout. I hate this shit series for denying me more TES

Which morrorwind total conversions turn it into a sci fi game? (Skyrim's fine too) Dev time mustve cut down with ai voices, right?

Makes sense, where do you even go from Morrowind
When will they mod Fallout into morrowind?
the last elder scrolls that todd will work on.

maybe he literally just does nothing. he chills on a beach and only shows up for interviews to be the face
