I just want Final Fantasy to go backwards at this point. Shit hasn't been good since 2006 and hasn't been great since the year 2000. Now everything is in 5-10 years of development hell and somehow still comes out with less interesting gameplay that games made 2 decades ago.
Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 all came out within 3 years of each other, which is wild because that's literally not even half the development time of the mediocrity that is modern Final Fantasy games.

XIV and XV are arguably the worst games. One is a game with a dev cycle riddled with pure incompetence an the other is a game riddled with incompetence and then a rebirth into a WoWclone. Funny enough they both share the fact that they both have their own variants of Barry. One has a singular Barry and the other has a playerbase of Barries.
