What made the Alola Starter Wars so funny is that there was no clear winner or loser in terms of popularity. All 3 Alola Starters were popular and had something going for them
Gens 8 and 9 both have a much more clearer scale in terms popularity disparity between the Starters with Rillaboom and Quaquaval clearly being the least popular of their gens
(Cinderace and Inteleon admittedly came kinda somewhat close to each other in popularity while Meowscarada entirely blows the other 2 the frick out of the water)

Skeledirge was a big disappointment for Fuecoco fans. It's not a bad evolution, it's a bad Fuecoco evolution. Took the best starter in years and made it mostly unappealing and generic.
