The next one won't be available for any platform I own and my PC is several leagues behind the current wave at this point.
Should I be upset?

Carbon was the last good nfs game so no, you shouldn't be upset
I meant hot pursuit 2
seed for sneed instead would be funnier (formerly sneed for sneed)
Seed For Sneed: Feed would be an actual improvement, but Heat's logo isn't very exploitable without effort
Come on man. You made it this far. If you're PC is that outdated, respect. Not gonna call you a consoomer. This is just an odd moment of weakness.
In truth I probably could run it but it feels like I'm at the edge of my PC's viability. I don't see being able to run it at anything higher than medium settings.
Name ONE good NFS game released after 2012
Payback
I liked Payback.
Honestly all of Ghost Games' NFS games are alright, even with questionable design decisions (2015 is always online, Payback has lootboxing upgrades, and Heat feels light on content and has that weird day/night split).
No limits
>my PC is several leagues behind the current wave at this point.
90% of pcs are leagues behind consoles, why do you think Steamies get butthurt when the steam survey releases?
why would i care that OTHERS are poorgays? i buy whatever the frick i want. if and when i will feel like it, i'll buy a ps5pro and a switch 2 as well when they are announced.
and the deckard too, i actually really like my quest 2
>He unironically has hope that the newest NFS game will be better than the last 3 trash heaps we've gotten in a row
I almost pity you for trusting EA and Ghost Games this much
If only they'd let Criterion take back the lead dev status for NFS
Didn't they do just that?
I don't know exactly, besides I'm not sure if they even put Criterion to work for the HP2010 remaster
They didn't, it's by the same studio that did Burnout Paradise Remastered (Stellar Entertainment). Criterion is making NFS 2022 (rumored to be titled "Unbound").
>unbound
Is it going to be like ridge racer unbounded?
Oh that's good, I just hope the people who worked on the greats that Criterion made still work there at least
No, they left and formed Three Fields Entertainment. They made that Dangerous Driving game (which, in all honesty, isn't that great).
why would you even want to play a modern nfs game? just go play one of the old good ones.
