The Outer Worlds didn't do anything new or anything particularly well. By the time you got to the end of the game, it felt like you should have been somewhere in the middle.

How can you be asexual and a dyke? Wouldn't one invalidate the other? Forgive my naivete, but saying "I'm sexually attracted to girls" and then following up with "I'm sexually attracted to noone" doesn't make sense to me. That's probably why I don't buy into the whole asexual thing.

How so? I’ve never done it. It’s not like friends make everything automatically fun. One of the worst games I’ve ever played is Phasmophobia, with the same friends.

I didn't think you could make joinable antagonists less coherent and sympathetic than the institute but I'm glad Obsidian is still shattering expectations in some form.

UE is extremely versatile. Just look at fortnite and compare it to stalker 2 for proof of that.
And yet starfield has space flight and combat while the space ship in outerworlds is just a reskinned house.

First few missions got tired and bored with everyone so I killed them all had to go to base and jumped the fricking fence clip through everything kill both friends and foes alike use 3 ammo types in the game for an rpg was a bad idea so I had a surplus of rocket ammo

No. It fails at the core exploration which is what makes the bethesda fallouts good. outer worlds explorable outdoor environments look terrible and are not nearly as interesting
They better take their setting and story seriously in the sequel. I couldn't stand that everything felt ironic.
