make your own game and pick your players. This is the one medium where the consumer is fully independent from big publishers.
instead of endless ragebait threads i'd like to see more threads about anons making shit themselves
So what did you make?
Why not start with that instead of rage bait?
Nta, but during covid I've made a simplified ruleset for 2d6 army men gameplay. It's 4 pages, and I'm very proud of it, because I've started with 42 and then had to trim it down until it achieved utmost simplicity.
I also routinely translate books for lesser games that nobody published, because they don't have DnD/WFRP/CoC/PtbA on their covers.
But hey, let's try the 5 yo strategy of "show YOUR input first", like the dumb homosexual you are.
>no one wants to take about making things
>gets mad and rages when asked about thing you made
You okay? I'm legit interested in your army man game. I remember the old one by the opr guy before tha got big. The specific editing process of prong down rules is interesting as well. What did you end up cutting?
The part about OP tha is weird is the complaint about lack of discussion when they started with an obviously inflammatory and argumentative post.
Also interested in those rules, anon. Got a link, or care to post here?
post rules
Post the rules Chud! There's like 5 Anons here interested, we can maybe even run a game or two
None of which means the large corporations producing shit products should be above criticism.
>the one medium
Novels are technically even simpler to create than games. Comics take some level of drawing skill but that's hardly uncommon and you can get away with very little. Music is harder to get away with good ideas and poor skills but there are still plenty that can. Vidya is certainly doable as long as you aren't aiming for AAA shit. Likewise film, though there you really need at least a small team for most projects.
About the only thing /tg/ products actually have going for them here is that the big publishers' products aren't actually all that good.
Chill out commie troops, the free market works
But only if no one is allowed to criticise large companies for making shit products?
>the free market
Doesn't exist.
Is it how illegitimate to say you don't like corporatisation of your hobby, my man?
Why do you hate people getting rich? I bet you hate freedom and hamburgers too!
Hope the multimillionaire pedophile share holders see this, bro
you morons will talk about literally anything but traditional games at this point
I haven't bought a new ttrpg product since IKRPG, but it's fun to come here, look at bumbling companies alienating people for dumb reasons and doompost.
As for gatekeeping, some anons in this thread have it figured, you do it in your table, no one is forcing you to play with anyone.
If anything though, the vocal ones seem to be the companies and their shills.
