Doubles
Single. Note, when they did this in SWSH, the singles and doubles Pokémon banned were for both formats. For example, Mimikyu was banned in singles cause it had top 10 usage but didn’t have top 10 usage in doubles but was still banned.
Hopefully it was just a mistake
>Dragonite at the top
We live in a blessed timeline that based gen 1 dragon is can be king
Until next gen where Tera is gone and it can go back being a limp dick Pusedo next to Goodra and Hydregion.
Losing Chien-Pao will hurt. Will have to find another good set up sweeper for singles.
>No more tardnite, fluttershit, and cheese man
Thank you Jesus
Everything that's top 10 in singles would be cancer in doubles, specially so after the top 10 in doubles is banned too. Good riddance I say.
>sees both top 10s
>no dozo or tatsugiri
Reg E is going to be a bigger Dozo fest than Reg A
Why must they keep changing the format?
>Use same format rules
>Everyone continues to use the same mons because nothing has changed
Gee I wonder why they keep changing shit
t. hasn't played VGC before swooshie.
We don't sign our posts here, moron.
>Rumor is going around that "certain pokemon may be banned" are the top 10 mons from singles and doubles.
they kind of have to do this. most of the teal mask returnees aren't anywhere near as strong or relevant as the current top meta mons so almost nothing would change otherwise
Rumors based on? I don't see them doing the top usage ban format for the initial DLC release, as much as I would like it.
I was kinda hoping there was no rank this month, because of regulation E starting next. I hate regulation D so fricking much, I welcome any change at this point. I really take early pokemon seasons for granted.
NTA, I have no doubt they will ban top usage mons, but I don't see it happening until next year probably. Part2 DLC is really nearby as is.
May very well be a stretch, but I wonder if the mons featured here are expected to get any useful tools. The featured Pokemon tend to be pretty competent and somewhat representative of whats actually used.
We know Milotic's getting Scald (hopefully as a learnset and not TM). Slack Off for Snorlax would be pretty frickin ideal.
No idea what Vikavolt would need to be better. Its decent as a Sticky Webs option that can put out offensive pressure, but its too frail to be super consistent.
It’s going to be reg d+. The only Pokémon that will have an impact from the returing mons aside from the new mons are Milotic and A ninetales.
You know reg d is shit when every competitive player is calling for the top ten to be removed.
I'm talking from the perspective of what Gamefreak expects, not necessarily what's reality (assuming the banlist rumor isnt true). In other words, if Gamefreak expects these 3 to be worthwhile picks in singles or doubles, they might have something going for them as a buff going into Teal Mask. Using Milotic as an example again, if its a semi-unique user of Scald, that'd likely be enough for a niche-- not sure if the other 2 would get something too.
This is all positing on the idea that these banners mean jack shit to begin with, so it might just be bullshit speculation.
Aw shit they're uncucking my girl? Nice.
